Enzo smiled awkwardly because he was finally being asked for his opinion on which accessories looked better.

However, both pairs were beautiful. Even Miya was having trouble deciding which one to wear, so how could he possibly make the choice any easier?

"Just choose whichever one you want me to wear," Miya said again.

"Maybe that one." Enzo pointed at the chain earrings.

He figured that if he didn’t choose, she would only ask him more questions.

"These will make me look more dominant and glamorous. It seems you like that kind of style," Miya remarked after making her choice. She immediately put on the chain earrings.

Enzo rolled his eyes, though he had to admit she wasn’t entirely wrong.

"Let’s go!" The woman pulled him along.

As soon as they left the house, Enzo saw Aaron again.

There was also a helicopter in the courtyard, complete with a middle-aged, bald pilot.

"Lady..." Gracie greeted Miya with a slight bow and a warm smile.

"You know what you have to do, right?" Miya asked her.

"Yes, I do. I’ll amaze everyone with my newfound power," Gracie replied.

"Let’s go..." Miya didn’t waste any more time on pleasantries and headed straight for the helicopter, whose door was already open.

It was a large helicopter with eight passenger seats in the back. Gracie and Eva followed them. The two didn’t speak to each other, as though they didn’t even know one another.

"Honey, get on first," Miya said to Enzo.

The helicopter’s steps and doorway were too narrow for two people to pass through at the same time.

Enzo climbed aboard first and chose a seat in the middle, since it offered the best view of the scenery outside.

Miya followed and, of course, sat beside him.

Gracie knew how to behave. She chose the rearmost seat, followed by Eva, while Aaron sat in the front with the pilot.

"You don’t need to ask whether they’re wearing seat belts or not..." Aaron suddenly pushed the pilot’s face forward when the man tried to look back to check on the passengers.

The pilot could only clear his throat awkwardly.

Enzo fastened his seat belt, but neither Miya nor Gracie bothered to wear theirs.

He felt a little embarrassed for being so formal, but now that he had already fastened it, taking it off again would only make him stand out even more.

Soon, the helicopter took off.

Ordinary people needed seat belts to remain comfortably seated, but even a Level 1 Spiritual Warrior could maintain their balance with ease.

Enzo had been staring out the window from the very beginning. As the helicopter climbed higher, City Z gradually came into view.

He also noticed another helicopter flying ahead of them. It was impossible to miss, especially because it was considerably larger than theirs.

The Stellar logo made it clear who owned it and who was on board.

A moment later, Enzo witnessed something even more astonishing. Two fighter jets appeared out of nowhere and flew on either side of the helicopter, acting as its escorts.

"Oliver has already set off. He’s really getting too big for his boots," Gracie remarked with a chuckle, glancing at Miya and Aaron.

Both fighter jets belonged to the City Z military.

The military commander had sent the two jets to escort Oliver after it became clear that he was in conflict with the Stanley Family. This was an unmistakable display of support for Oliver.

The commander was hoping for his success.

After all, the military wasn’t under the city’s government, and its commanders changed frequently. As a result, not every commander had particularly close ties with the Stanley Family.

Aaron looked annoyed, but Miya remained indifferent.

Suddenly, she ruffled Enzo’s white hair. He hadn’t bothered to style it from the beginning, and now it looked even messier.

"You look more charming like this," she said.

Enzo could only roll his eyes.

How could she flirt with him in front of other people?

Gracie and Eva naturally turned their attention toward the two of them. The latter, however, seemed uneasy. Even Aaron suddenly appeared to have lost interest in Oliver’s helicopter.

"Really?" Enzo replied.

"Yes. You look more mischievous and unruly."

Enzo was speechless.

"Ahem..." Aaron finally cleared his throat.

"Little sister, there’s something I haven’t told you yet," he said, prompting Miya to turn toward him with her eyebrows knitted together.

She was clearly aware that Aaron was deliberately putting off telling her something to divert attention away from a particular situation or conversation.

"What is it?" Miya asked.

"The Vice President will be attending as well. It’s been confirmed. He’s already in City X. I’m sure his real purpose is to see Oliver’s research, not the governor," Aaron replied with a serious expression.

The Vice President was a former Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. military. He had served longer than anyone else in that position and wielded enormous influence, eventually earning the rank of five-star general.

In fact, he was already extremely old, yet he was still alive. He was probably over a hundred years old.

"Hmph!" Miya merely snorted with a smile after hearing Aaron’s answer.

"Since I’ll have the chance to meet him, this is a good opportunity to introduce my husband to him," she said.

Enzo rolled his eyes again.

Why was she bringing him up yet again?

Was it really necessary to introduce him to the Vice President?

Aaron could only manage an awkward smile.

"Hehehe, Lady, it turns out you really do care about Enzo," Gracie suddenly chimed in.

Enzo had thought she would remain silent, knowing her place, but apparently, that wasn’t the case.

Miya glanced at her and said, "Just be quiet!"

Gracie, who had looked rather excited moments earlier, instantly froze with her mouth open after being told to shut up.

"What else haven’t you told me?" Miya asked Aaron.

"No, nothing important. It’s just that even though we already know Oliver is behind those zombies, and he hasn’t denied it either, there are still several zombies appearing in the city and causing chaos. Oliver might not be able to stop them if they decide to act on their own.

"Of course, there’s also the possibility that Oliver is ordering them to do it."

"Some of them are definitely acting on his orders," Miya said. "He’ll keep doing this. The longer I remain silent, the greater his reputation will become."

"Exactly. That bastard really is a menace. Little sister, why don’t you cause some trouble for his helicopter and teach him a lesson?" Aaron suggested.

He seemed to be deliberately provoking Miya, hoping to give her something to occupy herself with so she wouldn’t go back to flirting with her husband inside the helicopter.

However, Miya shook her head.

"He might become suspicious. Provoking him now wouldn’t benefit us in any way," she replied.

"Isn’t that right, honey?" She suddenly asked Enzo for his opinion.

Enzo could only nod.

Fortunately, Miya didn’t do anything else strange after that.

Aaron then told the pilot to speed up, pushing the helicopter to its maximum speed.

It was incredibly fast, and the scenery outside changed constantly.

Before long, City X came into view. It wasn’t particularly far away. The city was unique because it had relatively few skyscrapers, yet its population was larger than that of City Z.

As a result, the city sprawled across an enormous area.

Unlike European cities filled with ancient buildings, City X was dominated by modern, futuristic architecture.

Many of its buildings appeared to be made primarily of glass, making them look almost like giant greenhouses.

Oliver’s helicopter had naturally landed somewhere ahead of them.

As for their helicopter, the pilot brought it to a massive three-story building that was a hundred meters long and wide, surrounded by a twenty-meter-wide courtyard.

It had a spacious rooftop where a helicopter could land with ease.

Several security personnel were already stationed below, directing the pilot to the designated landing spot.

Enzo wasn’t entirely sure what kind of building this was.

As soon as the helicopter landed, Miya opened the door and took Enzo by the hand, leading him outside.

"Greetings, Lady Stanley. The Professor is waiting for you downstairs. He apologizes for being unable to welcome you in person," one of the security personnel said.

Miya nodded and replied, "Take us to him!"

"Yes. Please follow me," the security guard said before leading the way.

They descended the stairs.

At first, Enzo had assumed this was a three-story building. However, as they made their way down the stairs, he realized that there was only one floor. The structure was completely open, revealing a massive UFO that had sustained some damage and was now being repaired by a team of highly skilled mechanics.

Even Gracie and Eva were astonished by the sight. It was clearly something neither of them had ever seen before.

At the bottom of the stairs, an elderly man sitting in a wheelchair was waiting for them.

He had barely any hair left, while his arms and legs were actually robotic limbs.
