Investing in My Wife: But She's Already the Strongest!
Chapter 66: The Solution
Enzo understood that this was a truly serious matter. Erick also furrowed his brows.
Giants who could self-detonate.
The destructive power of their explosions would be terrifying, practically equivalent to an attack from a Lord of Earth.
In this situation, Miya would probably have to act personally to stop them.
But if there were many of them, how would she stop them all?
Aaron’s face twitched repeatedly.
He pointed toward Oliver, but in the end, he could not say anything.
The threat was simply too serious.
After remaining silent for a while, Miya let out a soft sigh.
"You’ve actually gone this far," she said. "But even if that’s the case, isn’t one hour still the limit?"
"It doesn’t matter. This is still a process, and one day, every limit will be surpassed," Oliver replied.
"Hmph!"
Miya snorted coldly.
"Let’s go," she said to Enzo and the others.
She immediately turned around and left after saying that.
Enzo hurriedly followed.
It had now become clear that Miya’s preparations might not be enough to stop the Giants who were ready to self-detonate.
The door opened, and the bespectacled man was still standing beside it with a confident demeanor.
Enzo felt annoyed just looking at him.
Erick apparently followed them into the elevator as well.
Miya looked at him displeasedly.
"It seems our national intelligence agency can’t do its job," she said.
"Ehem!"
Erick cleared his throat after hearing the blatant sarcasm.
By a simple analogy, Oliver could already be categorized as an extremely dangerous terrorist because his threat was directed at ordinary people.
Although the CIA could be petty as well, they had ultimately built their strength to fight Cultivators with the purpose of protecting ordinary people from them.
Erick could not respond until the elevator reached the bottom.
Miya immediately stepped out.
Mr. Joe ran ahead of her to open the car door.
"Little sister, can’t you stop this?" Aaron asked inside the car.
"You’re useless too," Miya replied, leaving Aaron stunned.
Being blamed by his own younger sister naturally made him extremely uncomfortable.
But his younger sister was stronger than him, so he could only accept it.
The truth was that, as the person in charge of the family’s intelligence network, he had indeed allowed a major threat to slip through.
"Gather all the data on the Level 4 Spiritual Warriors that Oliver has ever collected," Miya said.
"Yes. I’ll investigate this."
Aaron quickly nodded because he knew those were the Giants.
After saying that, Aaron’s figure suddenly disappeared after lowering the car window only slightly.
Enzo did not detect his movement at all. It was incredibly subtle.
He checked his phone and realized that there was already news about this, with reports speculating that the boss of Stellaris Company was behind the zombies.
However, the news also reported that Lady Stanley and the head of the CIA had left with cold expressions after meeting the company’s boss.
This raised questions about what had happened.
While reading the news, Enzo was startled when Miya suddenly touched his hand with a smile.
"This is only a minor problem. Someone like Oliver can run rampant because I chose to prevent a disaster from befalling ordinary people," she said.
"Wouldn’t he become even more rampant if he’s left alone?" Enzo replied.
"Yes, he would. Perhaps what he can do will become even more terrifying. He’ll gain support from many parties, allowing his research to progress even further."
"Is there anything I can do to help?" Enzo asked.
Although he seemed too weak to get involved, there was no harm in asking.
Unexpectedly, Miya nodded.
"Really?"
Enzo was stunned.
Even Mr. Joe was rather surprised.
"Your will. It can be developed further until you’re capable of killing without even seeing your target, even if the target is extremely far away from you," Miya said, surprising Enzo greatly.
"How?" he asked.
If he could do that, then once he reached Level 8, he could start killing the Giant zombies.
The important thing was that he knew who his targets were.
"This requires you to cultivate your body," Miya replied.
"Body Cultivation and Spiritual Cultivation. Balancing the two will strengthen your will even further. They truly need to remain balanced, and that is where the difficulty lies. You’ll only encounter this difficulty at Level 4. Isabel has a talent for Body Cultivation. It has become her main form of cultivation, but her Spiritual Cultivation is actually still at Spiritual Warrior Level 5. Cultivating both will make it harder for one of them to progress. Whichever one falls behind will become extremely difficult to advance."
"Although Body Cultivation is extraordinary, its advantage lies in survivability. When it comes to attacking, Spiritual Cultivation is far superior. Only when the two are balanced, or differ by no more than one level, can the full power of Body Cultivation be unleashed."
Miya gave Enzo a hesitant look.
If it turned out that he was talented in Body Cultivation and it surpassed his Spiritual Cultivation, then the latter would become difficult to advance.
In the end, this would turn him into someone who was only good at surviving while his own offensive power remained relatively weak.
"Are you worried that I can’t do it?" Enzo asked with a smile.
"It could become a disadvantage. Besides, cultivating two things at the same time will practically slow down your advancement in level," Miya replied.
"Maybe not," Enzo answered.
If he had known from the beginning that balancing Body Cultivation and Spiritual Cultivation would strengthen his will, of course he would choose a Body Cultivation technique as his second technique.
Miya was somewhat confused by his answer.
"I heard Body Cultivation techniques are extremely rare. Would I have to become Isabel’s disciple if I want one?" Enzo asked.
"Of course not. We can buy one from the Martin Family. They’ll sell it at a reasonable price. However, Old Martin is my teacher, so I can negotiate with him to get a better price or even ask him for it for free."
Miya replied with a smile.
"But..."
She wanted to continue, but Enzo interrupted her.
"I’ll cultivate a Body Cultivation technique too. Trust me, it’ll be fine. I’d still choose this even if there were no problems happening."
