"Ehem!"

Aaron cleared his throat lightly.

"Little sister, I followed Gracie Torres as you asked," he said.

Miya’s expression did not change at all upon hearing that. She simply waited for Aaron to continue.

"Apparently, she took them to the Stellaris Building, to an underground room with no other entrance at all, so I couldn’t follow her. I think she sold them to Oliver Green."

Enzo could naturally hear Aaron’s voice. He was not surprised when he heard that name.

Oliver Green was a successful businessman who had built his business in a short period of time, eventually becoming the richest individual in City Z.

And he was still young, around the same age as Miya.

His name was well known because, like Enzo, he had once been suspected of being a talented Cultivator but ultimately failed to absorb Spiritual Energy.

Although he ultimately failed on that path, he had succeeded through another one and still gained great honor in life.

"Did that woman bring anything back this time?" Miya finally asked.

"Yes. She brought a young man who seems rather foolish but has an extremely handsome appearance, more handsome than any man I’ve ever seen," Aaron replied.

As he said that, he somehow glanced at Enzo.

"Little sister, this is his photo."

Aaron showed her his phone.

It displayed a young man with red hair.

From the sofa, Enzo could still see the image clearly enough. The young man had bright fair skin, a broad chest, and perfectly developed muscles, with veins faintly visible along his neck.

He was indeed incredibly handsome, giving off an appearance that seemed to surpass the limits of human beauty, just like Alice.

However, even from the photo, his eyes looked empty, as if he himself were confused by everything around him.

"Why would a businessman buy Criminal Cultivators? Sis, let’s just raid his building directly. I’m certain Oliver is connected to those zombies. I’ve suspected for a long time that he’s involved in many illegal experiments. However, if I go alone, I’m afraid I won’t be able to break through his building. He bought a powerful formation that even Giants can’t destroy. As for our eldest brother, he’s busy overseeing the city because those zombies are still appearing regularly," Aaron said.

"Okay..."

Miya apparently agreed without hesitation.

"Mr. Joe, prepare the car..."

"Why don’t we just go directly, Sis?"

"Fourth brother, are you lacking intelligence?"

Miya’s sudden question left Aaron stunned and confused.

His suggestion actually made sense. He himself could reach the city faster than a car, and Miya could move even faster.

If she took him with her, they could arrive directly in the city center, right in front of the Stellaris Building.

"What if, after we arrive, all the zombies that have already spread throughout the city explode simultaneously?" Miya said.

"Little sister, that could happen at any time," Aaron replied.

"Exactly. So there’s no need to rush. I need a little more time to arrange everything."

"You have a way to deal with that?"

Aaron was shocked.

"Who do you think I am? Haven’t I always been the one defeating our enemies? Do you really think this little trick can stop me?"

Miya replied with an annoyed tone.

"I’m going to take a shower first," she added before closing the door hard.

After turning around, she smiled at Enzo.

"Too bad we were interrupted," she said as she walked toward him.

This slightly surprised Enzo.

It felt as if Miya was telling him that she had actually been ready.

Miya said nothing else. She kissed his cheek before continuing toward the stairs.

Enzo touched his own cheek where she had just kissed him.

It seemed his luck was not very good today.

He remained on the sofa and waited for Miya.

The woman did not take long in the shower.

She came down the stairs wearing long pants and a short-sleeved white shirt, while her purple hair was tied up neatly, giving her the appearance of an urban office lady.

Her age was indeed perfect for the role of an office lady.

Of course, the aura and impression she gave off would easily make people mistake her for a CEO.

At this point, there were no longer any marks from his kisses on her neck. She seemed to have cleaned them off.

"Honey, want to come with me?" Miya asked.

"Of course..."

Enzo immediately stood up to follow her.

He even opened the door for her and found a Mercedes parked right in front of the terrace, with Mr. Joe himself serving as the driver while Aaron stood beside the front passenger door.

All the passenger doors were already open. They only needed to get in.

Enzo sat on the right while Miya sat on the left.

Aaron got in after them, and Mr. Joe immediately stepped on the accelerator.

"Little sister, are you making preparations?" he asked.

"You haven’t noticed? It seems the gap between our strengths has grown even wider."

Miya answered casually.

"Hahaha, Lady, your Mental Sense is no longer something we can detect."

Mr. Joe spoke with a soft laugh.

He seemed happy, while Aaron looked as though he had mixed feelings.

"By the way, little sister, what if it turns out Oliver isn’t the culprit?" Aaron asked, changing the subject.

"Weren’t you the one who was so certain earlier?" Miya asked in return, rolling her eyes.

"That was only based on my instincts. Maybe you noticed something that could serve as strong evidence," Aaron replied.

"That red-haired young man. He isn’t human."

"He isn’t human?"

Aaron looked as shocked as possible, and so did Enzo.

"Spirit Race. They are born from eggs, and there are actually quite a few of their eggs on Earth. According to some information, if their eggs hatch, the Spirit Race will submit to whoever frequently feeds their eggs with blood. However, that isn’t actually the method required to hatch their eggs. Normally, they hatch on their own when placed in a suitable environment."

"Sister, is this one of those eggs?"

An egg about the size of a human head suddenly appeared in Aaron’s hand.

It looked similar to the egg Enzo had obtained from Alex.

However, this one was blue.

"That’s right..."

Miya replied while glancing at the egg.

"Enzo has one too," she added.

"How is this connected?" Aaron asked.

"The Spirit Race can self-detonate. I’ve encountered them several times, and they always explode themselves when they realize that their enemy is far stronger. And until now, no one knows how to make their eggs hatch. Although the Spirits have nothing to do with turning humans into Spiritual Warriors, their ability to self-detonate should be the result of their help."

Enzo could not help but be amazed by Miya’s analysis.

She had actually managed to draw a conclusion so quickly.

On the other hand, Aaron looked thoughtful, holding his chin while nodding to himself.

"I didn’t expect Oliver to be this capable," he said quietly.

"I still can’t figure out how an ordinary human could become a Level 6 Spiritual Warrior."

"Power cannot appear out of thin air. It must be power obtained from the Cultivators themselves. Perhaps even from their corpses," Miya replied casually.

"Is that possible?" Aaron’s eyes widened.

"That’s just my speculation. Besides, a Cultivator’s corpse takes a very long time to decay. Even if their power appears to dissipate, their essence remains, so why couldn’t it be done?"

"But why would that man reveal the results of his research? Wouldn’t he be able to conduct his research peacefully if he kept it hidden?" Enzo also joined the conversation.

"Honey, that’s where you’re wrong," Miya replied with a smile.

"Wrong?" Enzo was confused, while Aaron looked uncomfortable hearing the way Miya addressed him.

"One thing that humans can never get rid of is the desire for recognition," Miya answered.

"What’s the point of achieving something if no one knows about it?"

She chuckled as she added that.

"Of course, Oliver wouldn’t be foolish enough to let his emotions interfere with his grand plan. He’s an intelligent man. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have become this successful in business. He’s even wealthier than the Stanley Family. So it’s one of two things: either he’s confident in himself, or he has some huge surprise he wants to reveal to the entire world—perhaps even both. Even if he remains an ordinary human, if what he possesses can guarantee his safety, who could resist keeping it hidden?"

"Little sister, your speculation is making me nervous," Aaron said.

"From the very beginning, ordinary humans have been the greatest enemies of Cultivators. Intelligence combined with the determination not to lose gives them the ability to shake an elephant despite being nothing more than an ant."

"It seems this will never end." Aaron sighed. "Most humans cannot cultivate. This is already a law of the world, because if everyone could cultivate, the energy of this world would be drained far too quickly. Why can’t they just accept that?"

"Asking them to accept it would be no different from insulting them. We who had talent from the very beginning will never understand what it feels like for those with great ambitions to be met with a dead end from the start. Just so you know, Oliver has contacted me three times already, asking if there was anything that could help him begin cultivating. He was even willing to give me his entire fortune for it."

Miya replied indifferently.

"Mm, perhaps he’s annoyed now because he thinks I gave Enzo something that allowed him to cultivate before we even got married."

"Didn’t you?" Aaron asked.

"What? Do you also believe Enzo can cultivate because of some resource I gave him?"

Miya became annoyed by the question.

"I did have something like that and planned to give it to him after we got married, but the problem resolved itself."
