"I’ll make some toast for you right now..." Enzo replied enthusiastically.

’It’s just toast, right?’

For someone who had been used to cooking since childhood, this was nothing difficult.

"Good. I’ll wait here..." Miya kissed Enzo’s cheek again before letting him go.

Enzo stood up and went to the kitchen beside the dining room.

Although the house looked traditional, its kitchen was fully equipped, from a state-of-the-art stove to a food-storage refrigerator.

There was bread, meat, seafood—every ingredient was available.

Enzo first gathered what he needed: the bread, meat for the filling, cheese for the topping, and, of course, butter.

He quickly turned on the stove and cut the bread into palm-sized pieces so he could toast them separately.

As for the meat, he minced it finely. He cooked the meat first, using his own blend of seasonings with a strong flavor.

For a dish like this, the meat was the only part that took any real time to cook. Toasting the bread only took a few minutes. After about half an hour, everything was finished, enough to fill a large plate.

Enzo noticed that the sky had already grown dark, making it the perfect time for dinner.

He took a deep breath before walking into the living room.

Toast didn’t necessarily have to be eaten at the dining table. It was suitable for eating anywhere.

Miya was simply watching TV, which was broadcasting international events.

"Is it done?" she asked Enzo.

"Yes. I just haven’t made the drinks yet. What would you like to drink?" Enzo asked.

"No need. I already have wine..." Miya casually took out a bottle of wine from her Storage Ring, along with two golden cups.

She poured wine into both cups herself before signaling Enzo to sit beside her.

Enzo sat down, placing the plate on the table.

After that, he wrapped his arms around Miya’s waist and pulled her onto his lap.

She liked sitting on his lap, and he liked having her there.

As a man, he shouldn’t be afraid to take the initiative.

Miya smiled faintly.

"You just need to open your mouth," Enzo said.

"Of course," the woman replied.

Enzo then placed a piece of toast into her mouth.

DING!

(You have given your wife something that made her happy. Her happiness level has reached 70%. You have received a reward: comprehension of Golden Heaven Flame increased from 0.1% to 2.5%!)

- First Stage: (Golden Heaven Flame: 2.5%)

The notification appeared immediately, and Enzo instantly gained a vast enlightenment regarding the technique.

That 2.5% comprehension had significantly increased the power of his flames.

Enzo was so happy that his smile became brighter.

However, when he fed Miya a second piece of toast, he heard the sound of a car outside.

Not just one.

Several.

Miya immediately knitted her brows.

Who could possibly come here this late at night? And in such a large group?

It shouldn’t be anyone other than members of the Stanley Family themselves.

"Hahahaha, we wanted to visit our little sister. Mr. Joe, don’t tell me there’s a problem with that? You know what this is? We’re visiting our newly married sister to get to know our brother-in-law better."

"That’s right. Besides, there’s something important we need to discuss with Miya."

"That car is for our new brother-in-law."

"..."

The voices echoed clearly.

Enzo could only stare at Miya.

Although she looked annoyed, Miya still stood up.

"If you don’t want to meet them, you can go to the bedroom," she said.

It might seem impolite, but it didn’t matter if Miya was the one saying it.

Enzo thought for a moment before shaking his head.

"I’ve been bothered by people plenty of times. I’ve never been afraid of things like this," he said.

"If they’re the ones bothering you, this might be a little troublesome. But since you’re brave enough, fine..." Miya smiled and walked toward the door, signaling Enzo to remain seated.

Miya opened the door herself, and Enzo was stunned by the number of people who had come.

All four of Miya’s brothers were there with their respective wives. Besides them, there were around eight middle-aged men, all accompanied by their wives as well.

They were probably Miya’s cousins, and there were even more of them.

The Stanley Family naturally had far more members.

Fortunately, most of them had already spread out to other cities or overseas to establish branches there.

And behind the main group was another large group of young people.

Some were older than Enzo, while others were younger.

Liam Stanley, Bryan Stanley, the two young women who had assisted Miya during the wedding ceremony, and many others were among them.

Altogether, there could easily be fifty people.

If someone asked Enzo whether he regretted not going to the bedroom now, he would definitely say yes.

Alexander Stanley, the bald man, led them all.

"Miya, it’s not that late yet, so we shouldn’t be disturbing you, right?" Alexander said as he glanced at Enzo sitting on the sofa.

"Hahaha, how could we be disturbing you? They just had dinner. It’s still too early for them to rest," Owen Stanley, the second brother, added with a laugh.

"Miya, come on, let us in," Bastian, the third brother, said.

"Little sister, the reason we’re all here is because there really is something important," Aaron, the fourth brother, said.

Miya knitted her brows even more deeply as the four of them spoke one after another.

"Come in!" she replied curtly before turning back toward the sofa and sitting beside Enzo again.

Whoosh!

Suddenly, the other sofas, tables, and random chairs disappeared without a trace, leaving only the sofa they were sitting on.

Everyone who had come was indeed allowed inside, but having all the other seating disappear naturally left them stunned.

There weren’t enough seats anyway, and it wouldn’t matter for most of them to stand. But the older people, such as Alexander, his brothers, and their older cousins, obviously needed somewhere to sit.

"Sit down, all of you!" Miya said indifferently.

Everyone became awkward upon hearing that.

Enzo wanted to scratch his head but had to suppress his expression.

"Hahaha, then we’ll sit," Aaron laughed before actually sitting down first.

He was the type who preferred to go with the flow rather than resist.

His action caused his older brothers to knit their brows.

Wouldn’t it have been better to remain standing?

"Mr. Joe, please prepare some tea and snacks," Miya ordered Mr. Joe.

"Yes..." He immediately accepted the order.

The servants quickly entered and hurried toward the kitchen.

They worked skillfully.

Within just a few minutes, dozens of cups and plates filled with tea and snacks were brought out from the kitchen.

Of course, with all the tables gone, they could only arrange everything on the floor.

If they remained standing with food right in front of their feet, they’d look like a bunch of cats and dogs.
