"Let’s start the balance adjustment," I thought, a greedy smile forming inside my head. I reared my front section up, touched the rough wood of the wagon wheel with my nose, and activated the [Liquidate Assets] skill at maximum power.

The response was instant. The moment my energy flowed into the frame, the entire massive wooden wagon, the crates, the grain, and the high-tier crystals didn’t just break apart—they dissolved into a glowing stream of golden currency numbers that flew straight into my system inventory panel.

[Inventory Update: 10,000 Gold Coins successfully stored. 50 Mana Crystals added.]

The wagon vanished into thin air, leaving a wide, completely empty gap on ground

I didn’t waste a second. I glided to the next wagon.

Zip. Siphoned. The third wagon. Zip. Swallowed.

Within ten minutes of silent, invisible crawling, fifteen of the there main supply wagons had completely disappeared from the face of the earth, their entire value sitting safely inside my pocket-dimension ledger while the elite knights nearby kept staring blankly into the campfires, completely unaware that their entire army was about to face a total starvation crisis by morning.

But as I reached for the sixteenth wagon, a sudden pressure dropped from the sky, making my invisible scales tingle with intense danger.

The tent flap of the main royal pavilion opened, and a tall man with long hair and a jagged black sword stepped out into the light. His eyes scanned the empty gaps in the supply line, his face instantly turning a furious, bright red as his Ascendant aura flared up like a volcano.

"THE SUPPLY LINE!" King Malakor roared, his voice shaking the entire valley. "SOMEONE IS SMUGGLING THE KINGDOM’S INVENTORY right from under our noses! Sound the alarm!"

The red alarm bells rang in the dark night, waking up the entire valley in a split second. Thousands of soldiers came rushing out of their white tents, their spears raised as they ran toward the center supply line.

King Malakor stood right outside his grand royal tent, his hair flying wildly as his Ascendant energy swirled around his boots.

"Find the thief!" Malakor said, his voice shaking the frames of the nearby tents. "Our entire food registry has been wiped out in ten minutes!"

Before his voice could echo a second time, I shot out from the shadow of the sixteenth wagon in my invisible snake form. I glided right up to his back, dropped my camouflage for a split second, and shifted instantly into my human form.

"your invoice has been totally denied!" I shouted right into his ear, using the maximum capacity of my active skill [The Customer Is Always Wrong].

The massive wave of manager authority blasted out of my chest, that hit his ears, His jaw froze mid-scream, his sword stopping in the air as his entire cognitive line locked up from the sudden blast of legal jargon.

[Skill Activated: ’The Customer Is Always Wrong’ (Tier 4)]

- Target: King Malakor (Ascendant).

- Effect: Total cognitive freeze active for 3 seconds.

’Victor, take the remaining wagons now! ’ I sent the mental link message sprinting toward the tree line.

Victor didn’t waste a single second . He launched himself out of the brush, his short blade cutting through the air as he bypassed the front lines. He slammed his fist into the remaining five supply wagons, his quick energy triggering the liquidation matrix I had pre-set on the wood.

Clinker!

The remaining five wagons turned into a massive river of gold numbers, vanishing straight into my system inventory.

"They’re taking the rest!" the enemy soldiers shrieked, their spear lines turning completely chaotic as Victor spun around, using his high footwork to parry their short blades and drive their front rank straight into the mud.

I turned my focus back to Malakor, balling up my right fist to deliver a massive punch to his jaw while he was still frozen. But before my fist could land, a sudden pressure dropped from the sky right behind my back again.

and a man with a green leather vest and two long bone daggers came charging out. It was King Brandon of the Southern Marsh. His Ascendant aura flared up like a poisonous cloud, creating a green pressure that slammed right into my shoulder scales and forced me to drop my punch.

"Malakor, watch out!" Brandon yelled, his bone daggers flashing in the firelight as he lunged straight at me.

Malakor’s three-second freeze time end. He staggered back, his eyes clearing as he realized I was standing between both of them. He grinned nastily, his sword with red magic once again as he stepped up to line up a combined strike with Brandon.

I looked around the camp rapidly, my yellow eyes scanning the tents. "Where is the third one? Where is King Gregory?"

[System: Threat assessment update, boss! King Gregory of the Peak is missing from the local sector! Our palace network logs show he already left with the main cavalry line three hours ago! In my calculations He migy be currently attacking Suzy at the capital gates right now!]

’Damn it,’ i thought, my teeth tightening inside my mouth. ’He skipped the logistics meeting entirely.’

"You’re completely trapped, where will you run now ?" Malakor sneered, he and Brandon closing the circle around me "Two Ascendant kings against one naked merchant. Your business ends tonight!"

Down by the tree line, Victor was completely surrounded by a hundred guards, his short blade moving in high-speed circles as he fought the enemy grunts alone, keeping them from crowding my position.

"I am never outnumbered when I’m auditing a bad balance sheet," I said, as I raised my bare fists.

My muscles buzzed with pure, raw energy, the strong wind from my core swirling violently around me. The two border kings gripped their weapons tightly, their powerful auras rising together as the double-tier battle in the middle of the camp officially began.
