The implications alone made his mind race with possibilities. Thesis meant that Fundamental Depth entities from before differentiation didn’t simply declare their truth into existence through overwhelming authority. They proposed it. They invited challenge. And if their logic held, if their framework was coherent, their truth became more real than anything a modern Declaration could achieve.
Because it had been tested. Because it had survived scrutiny. Because existence itself had examined it and found no flaw.
And Apophasis was even more terrifying.
Modern Embodiment meant becoming what you were, fully and completely merging with the concept you represented. But Apophasis was the opposite approach achieving the same result through a different path. It meant unbecoming what you were not. Systematically removing every limitation, every constraint, every definition that could be used against you until you existed outside the boundaries that trapped other entities.
An entity using Apophasis didn’t need to be stronger than their opponent.
They simply needed to not be something their opponent could affect.

Noah twirled the Fragment of THE Axiom of Mayhem as he read these prompts, feeling the pulsing power within his existence as he envisioned all the possibilities before him.
The main differences were becoming clear to him now.
Declaration versus Thesis. Both created truth, but through fundamentally different mechanisms. Declaration created through authority, through the raw weight of one’s Civilization imposing its reality upon existence. Thesis created through proposition, through logical coherence and philosophical framework. Declaration was harder to challenge directly but easier to overpower if you simply had more authority. Thesis was vulnerable to logical attack but became incredibly stable if left unchallenged.
An entity from Ginnungagap or Muspelheim using Thesis could potentially be defeated through debate rather than combat.
But an entity using Thesis that went unchallenged would have truth more solid than anything a modern Declarer could achieve.
And Embodiment versus Apophasis represented the same dichotomy at the highest level.
A clash between them would create fundamental paradoxes.
One entity saying "I am this" while another said "I am not that" in direct opposition could reshape local reality entirely.
At such a time, beside Noah in the sea of blue-gold Mana, the figure of the holographic Ruination appeared with an excited expression on her features.

Archai.
Undifferentiated Principles that had not yet decided what they were.
His Perpetual Harvest was becoming something that could be Growth or Decay or Evolution or Destruction depending on how he chose to express it. His Cheating Architect was becoming something that could bend rules in ways that hadn’t been defined yet. His Undifferentiated Mana was becoming the Arche of Mana itself, the raw building block from which all Mana-based Principles could potentially emerge.
Against modern opponents who used rigid, differentiated Principles, he would be able to shift and adapt in ways they couldn’t anticipate. Against ancient opponents who might recognize what Archai were, he would be speaking a language they understood but hadn’t heard in eons.
Either way, he had advantages that no one else, or very few, currently possessed!
