Infinite Mana: I Am The Absolute Supreme
Chapter 172: A galactic realm abyssal entered the battlefield
The grand stone hall outside the quiet chamber was still filled with residual spatial distortions, a silent testament to the vast energies Victor routinely summoned. As he stepped across the threshold, his gaze swept over the gathered figures.
Six individuals stood in a semi-circle, their postures rigid and their presence warping the surrounding air. Every single one of them radiated the dense, suffocating aura of the quasar realm. These were not mere commanders; they were high-ranking representatives from the dominant universal factions, sent to personally assess the man who had effortlessly annihilated the abyssals like stepping on insects.
The leader of the group, a towering giant with skin like polished obsidian and eyes burning with celestial fire, took a step forward and offered a deep, respectful bow. "Greetings, Mr. Walker. I am Commander Vaelen of the Titan Sovereign Alliance. We have observed your valiant battles against the abyssal horde and come on behalf of our faction to acknowledge your peerless strength."
Beside him, an ethereal woman whose form seemed composed entirely of shifting starlight curtsied with grace. "I am Lady Seraphina of the Astral Weavers," she said, her voice echoing like distant bells. "Your mastery over fundamental forces has caught the attention of our high council. We bring greetings from the starlight expanse."
One by one, the remaining experts introduced themselves. Among them were representatives from the Thunder Domain, the Void Blade Order, and the Sacred Sun Dominion. Each faction represented a power capable of altering the fate of entire star systems, yet in front of Victor, their pride was thoroughly restrained.
"We have witnessed your crushing victory over the abyssal legions," Vaelen continued, his voice heavy with solemnity. "A force like yours changes the balance of the entire universal battlefield. May we ask what your next course of action will be? Do you intend to fortify this sector, or press further into the unknown zones?"
Victor looked at the quasar realm experts with a calm, indifferent expression. "My plan is simple. I am going to kill more abyssals."
His straightforward answer caused a brief ripple of surprise among the representatives. Vaelen cleared his throat, adjusting his stance. "A noble and fierce endeavor. However, operating alone in the deep battlefield carries immense risk. A warrior of your caliber deserves a grand foundation. Have you considered establishing your own universal faction? If you were to raise your banner, every group present here today would be eager to join your supreme alliance and fight under your command."
The offer was monumental. Joining a new faction led by someone of Victor’s power would grant him immediate command over millions of elite troops and endless resources. Yet, Victor did not hesitate for a single second.
"I have no interest in founding a faction or leading armies," Victor replied coolly, his voice leaving no room for debate. "I act alone. You may clear the path or stay out of my way."
Without waiting for their response, Victor brushed past the stunned representatives, stepping onto the main thoroughfare of the defensive city. The quasar realm experts exchanged bewildered glances, but none dared to block his path.
As Victor walked down the wide stone road toward the city gates, a solitary figure stepped out from the shadow of a decorative pillar, blocking his trajectory. It was Amelia, the ice phoenix he had rescued during the previous campaign.
She wore a delicate armor woven from frost silk, her silver hair flowing gently in the cold breeze. As Victor approached, a strange resonance vibrated within his body. The intense chill radiating from her bloodline felt remarkably familiar. It mirrored the deep, primal resonance of the ice fire phoenix blood he had absorbed long ago during his early cultivation.
Amelia looked at Victor with a mixture of pride and quiet confidence. She knew her background was extraordinary, and her race stood at the pinnacle of the cosmos.
"Mr. Walker," Amelia spoke, her voice carrying a crisp, melodic coldness. "I watched your battle. Your strength is truly remarkable, but fighting without a true background in the deep universal battlefield will eventually bring down the wrath of the powerful abyssals. I have communicated with my elders. I am here to invite you to join the Ice Phoenix Clan. We are a genuine god race faction. With your talent and our backing, no force in the universal core will dare touch you."
She stood tall, fully expecting Victor to be surprised and overjoyed by the offer. To be invited into a god level race faction was an honor that billions of cultivation geniuses could only dream of achieving.
Victor stopped for a brief moment, his violet eyes meeting her icy gaze. His expression remained entirely unchanged, devoid of any excitement or gratitude.
"Not interested," Victor said plainly.
He did not waste another second, stepping right past her as if she were nothing more than a statue.
Amelia froze in place, her eyes widening in disbelief. She quickly turned around, extending a hand toward his retreating back. "Wait! Do you even realize what it means to join a god race?"
Before the words could fully leave her mouth, Victor’s figure blurred. Space folded quietly around him, and he vanished from her sight without leaving behind a single trace of spatial ripple. Amelia stood alone on the quiet road, her hand hovering in the empty air. A sudden, unfamiliar curiosity welled up within her chest as she stared at the spot where he had just been standing. No man had ever dismissed her or her sacred clan so casually.
Far from the city center, Victor reappeared directly at the massive outer gates of the defensive fortress. The guards stationed at the ramparts barely registered his presence before he executed another long-distance spatial teleportation. In the span of a single breath, he crossed millions of miles, plunging deep into the desolate expanses of the universal battlefield.
The crimson sky of the battlefield was filled with the stench of blood and decaying energy. Victor hovered in the void, expanding his perception to locate the nearest concentration of abyssal forces. He was just about to lock onto a massive cluster of life signatures when the entire universal battlefield shook violently.
A deep, violent tremor resonated through the fabric of space itself. In the far distance, at the central region where the first overlord of the abyssals held domain, a thick beam of dark crimson light erupted, tearing through the heavens and piercing the upper atmosphere. A horrendous, crushing pressure radiated outward from the anomaly, causing the surrounding spatial structures to crack like brittle glass. ℯℯ𝑙.
In that distant region, millions of abyssal corpses that had accumulated over countless battles suddenly disintegrated into fine crimson mist. The blood ocean on the ground was drawn upward by an irresistible pull, swirling into a gigantic, swirling vortex. From the center of the vortex, a massive spatial portal expanded, burning with dark, ominous runes. This portal was fundamentally different from any gate that had opened before; its energy output was so immense that even the rules of the local universe seemed to recoil from it.
A heavy, absolute quiet descended upon the immediate vicinity of the portal. Then, a massive humanoid leg stepped out from the crimson vortex, crushing the bedrock beneath into fine dust. Soon after, the entire entity crossed through the threshold.
The newcomer possessed a towering humanoid frame covered in obsidian scales that absorbed all ambient light. Complex golden patterns pulsed across his chest, and his eyes burned with a cold, terrifying luminescence. The atmospheric pressure around him spiked exponentially. He was an abyssal entity of the galactic realm, a supreme existence that transcended the normal limitations of the battlefield.
At the base of the portal, the first abyssal overlord, a giant who ruled over millions of lesser demons, dropped heavily to both his knees. He pressed his forehead against the cracked ground, his entire frame trembling with profound awe.
"My lord, welcome to this realm," the first overlord stammered, his voice filled with extreme veneration.
The galactic realm abyssal looked down at the kneeling overlord, his expression cold and detached as he evaluated the surrounding environment. "Not bad," he murmured, his voice sounding like two planetary bodies grinding together. "The anchor is stable. Lord Salazar will be pleased with this progress."
As he spoke, the spatial fabric around him groaned under the sheer weight of his existence. Deep black fissures began spreading in every direction, threatening to collapse the entire region under his unrestrained power. Sensing the instability of the local space, the galactic realm abyssal snorted softly with slight annoyance. He reached up and tapped a dark, crystal amulet hanging around his neck.
The amulet flared with a soft, suppressive light. Instantly, the overwhelming, space-shattering aura was completely reined in, pulled back inside his body until he seemed like an ordinary mortal walking upon the earth. However, the dangerous glint in his glowing eyes remained, signaling the arrival of a storm that would soon engulf the entire universal battlefield.
