Infinite Mana: I Am The Absolute Supreme
Chapter 166: Appearing in another battle region
"Is that so? Looks like this puny universe has some decent prodigies. I need to hasten the process. Once the ritual is completed, Duke Salazar will be able to send his main army into this universe, and that will be the beginning of the doom." A sinister smile appeared on his nasty face.
Deep within the dark hall, the air vibrated with ancient blood magic, but far away on the core battlefield, the atmosphere was frozen in complete, suffocating shock. Millions of warriors from various universal factions stood in place, their weapons lowered, their minds entirely numb. The absolute silence was so heavy that the quiet hum of spatial repair seemed like thunder.
Morren, the dragonoid Battle Lord clad in radiant silver armor, carefully hovered downward. His massive tail swept behind him, suppressing his own overwhelming Quasar Realm pressure so as not to cause unnecessary provocation. He looked at the young human standing in the center of the total destruction, his eyes filled with a mixture of disbelief and profound caution.
"Young man, may I know who you are?"
"I am Mr. Walker. You are a Battle Lord?" Victor asked. He could sense the terrifying depth of power in that humanoid dragon’s body.
"Indeed, I am," the Battle Lord replied, about to ask him something else, but Victor interrupted.
"Tell me, do you know exactly how many abyssals are currently fighting in the entire universal battlefield and how many come out every day from the portals?"
He had already gained one trillion evolution points in just a few minutes after entering the core sector. The death of Veyrath alone had yielded an absurd bounty of points, and Victor was now even more motivated to clean out this entire place.
"The exact number is hard to tell," Morren answered patiently, not a single bit irritated after being interrupted. This human had just erased an Overlord from existence, something Morren himself could not accomplish so easily.
"But there are one million Quasar Rank abyssals and one million Universal Quasar Rank combatants that could stay here at a time. The same rule goes for the Black Hole Realm. Five hundred million from each side could stay at a time. The Nebula Realm has over one hundred billion from each side capacity, while the lower ranks are countless. If any powerhouse falls or leaves after fulfilling the number, only then can someone from that realm enter the battlefield."
Victor’s eyes were shining brightly when he heard this massive scale. An upper limit of one million Quasar Realm powerhouses meant a practically endless supply of high-grade evolution points.
"Alright, give me the map of every core battlefield controlled by the Quasar Realm beings. And where is the three Battle Lords’ territory? You must have more abyssals to handle, right?" Victor asked with undeniable excitement.
Seeing his overflowing enthusiasm, Morren felt a strange sense of absurdity, as if Victor was asking for directions to a grand banquet rather than a zone of absolute slaughter.
"That is right. What do you want to do now? Do you want to create a faction of your own or join an existing one?" Morren asked, raising the primary question every supreme powerhouse faced upon entering the core battlefield.
"I will kill abyssals. I do not have time to join or create factions. You should leave now," Victor replied flatly. He could already see the surviving abyssal armies scattering like panicked insects in every direction, and his patience was rapidly wearing thin. Those retreating creatures represented pure, unharvested points.
"Uh, okay. Just do not overdo anything. Now that you killed an Overlord, the abyssals will likely target you, and a new Overlord might soon enter through that portal. Be careful," Morren warned him with a serious expression.
"Seriously? When do you think that will happen? Is there any way to bring more Overlords from those portals?" Victor asked, his eyes gleaming with intense anticipation.
Morren felt a twitch in his mouth. He genuinely felt this human was completely cracked in the head. Fighting an Overlord was a life-or-death gamble for anyone else, yet this man spoke of them like wild game to be lured into a trap.
"No, there is no way to force the portal open early. Alright, I am leaving. This is my communication address. Contact me if you need anything," Morren said, handing over a spatial beacon token before hurriedly turning around and rushing toward the high sky, eager to report this insane anomaly to the other Battle Lords.
As soon as the silver dragonoid vanished into the upper atmosphere, Victor’s warm excitement instantly faded. His eyes turned bone-chillingly cold as he directed his gaze toward the fleeing abyssal forces. Thousands of Nebula rank abyssals were desperately trying to escape the perimeter of the sector.
"Where do you think you are going?" Victor murmured softly.
Boom!
Instantly, those strange chaos water spheres appeared in the air again.
This time, it was not merely a dozen spheres, but tens of thousands of miniature violet and dark blue orbs manifesting across a radius of tens of thousands of kilometers. Victor did not even move his feet. He simply opened his palm and gently clenched his fingers into a tight fist.
The tens of thousands of elemental spheres detonated simultaneously. They did not explode outward into mere physical firestorms; instead, they collapsed inward, creating localized gravitational singularities that instantly dragged the fleeing abyssals backward. Space folded upon itself like crushed paper.
"No! Save us!"
"The Overlord is dead! Run!"
Desperate shrieks resonated across the void, but the chaos and water elemental forces tore through their specialized armor as if it were parchment. The primordial disintegration aura that Victor had used earlier still lingered subtly in his ambient energy, turning every single elemental explosion into a meat grinder of absolute destruction.
In less than three minutes, the entire sector that had previously been infested with millions of abyssal troops was completely cleared. Nothing remained except for the drifting, inert wreckage of metal and stone, thoroughly cleansed of any abyssal corruption. The universal warriors who had been watching from the defensive fortresses were frozen in sheer awe, unable to even cheer as the terrifying human calmly absorbed the scattered spatial rings.
Victor glanced at the mental map that Morren had transferred to his communication token. The map detailed the entire Core Sector, divided into several massive battle zones governed by both the universal factions and the abyssal legions.
To the north lay the Howling Abyss Trench, where two distinct Abyssal Void lords were currently pressure-testing the lines of the universal alliance. To the east was the Shattered Star Sea, a chaotic asteroid belt where hundreds of thousands of Quasar Realm abyssals were locked in a perpetual war of attrition.
"Two voidlords in the north," Victor muttered to himself, a small grin appearing on his face. "And hundreds of thousands of Quasar Realm targets in the east."
Without paying the slightest attention to the thousands of worshipful, terrified gazes directed at him from the universal warriors, Victor took a single step forward. The space beneath his dark boots warped instantly, folding millions of kilometers into a microscopic point.
In the next microsecond, his figure completely vanished from the core central sector, leaving behind a legendary tale that would sweep across the entire battlefield within hours.
Meanwhile, in the northern Howling Abyss Trench, the battle was raging with brutal intensity. Massive dreadnoughts belonging to the universal allied fleets were firing planetary-scale laser beams into the deep trench, trying to hold back the endless tide of abyssal beasts emerging from the spatial ruptures.
Two colossal figures, each emitting an aura no weaker than Malakar’s, stood high above the trench. One was a multi-limbed demonic entity covered in dark green chitin armor, while the other was an ancient abyssal lich hovering atop a mountain of bone dragon carcasses.
"Lord Veyrath’s life signature just went out," the multi-limbed Overlord suddenly spoke, his six black eyes narrowing into thin slits. "It took less than ten minutes from the moment he engaged the enemy."
The abyssal lich let out a dry, rattling laugh that shook the surrounding space. "That fool was always arrogant. He probably overextended his domain and got surrounded by Morren and the other Battle Lords.", it didn’t have any respect for the overlord in it’s tone. As it was close to becoming a overlord itself soon.
"No," the multi-limbed Overlord replied solemnly. "The spatial report indicates that only one human fought him. Morren arrived after the battle was already concluded."
The bone lich stopped laughing instantly. His hollow eyes flared with crimson dark fire. "Nonsense! A single human killing Veyrath in ten minutes? Unless a Galactic being bypassed the boundary laws, that is physically impossible!"
Before the multi-limbed Overlord could reply, the space directly between the two terrifying entities quietly cracked open.
A young man wearing dark armor stepped out of the fissure. He carried no grand weapon, nor did he release an overwhelming aura that crushed the world. He simply looked at the two massive abyssal voidlords, evaluated their terrifying energy signatures, and smiled with genuine delight.
"You must be the two voidlords from the northern territory," Victor said, his voice quiet yet carrying clearly through the howling cosmic winds. "Thank you for staying together. It saves me a lot of travel time."
