Infinite Mana: I Am The Absolute Supreme
Chapter 164: Abyssal overlord
The emergency distress signal disappeared into the depths of the dark void, traveling through layers of space toward the higher regions of the Abyssal territory. For several seconds, nothing happened. The commanders inside the Abyssal command matrix remained silent, waiting for a response from the terrifying existence Malakor had contacted.
Then, without warning, the entire Abyssal command matrix began trembling violently. A terrifying pressure descended from somewhere beyond the battlefield, so immense that even the Black Hole Realm Abyssals within the command hall instinctively lowered their heads. Malakor’s expression changed as he slowly turned toward the darkness behind him.
"You called for me?"
The voice was calm, yet the instant those words appeared, the surrounding space began to distort. A massive crimson eye opened within the darkness, followed by another and another. Soon, thousands of enormous crimson eyes appeared throughout the void, silently staring toward the battlefield as if countless ancient monsters had awakened from an eternal slumber.
A figure slowly emerged from that darkness. He possessed a humanoid appearance, but his entire body was covered in ancient black armor. Crimson patterns resembling veins covered his exposed skin, while two enormous curved horns extended from his forehead. His aura was completely restrained, yet even with his power suppressed, the surrounding space trembled around him.
Malakor immediately knelt before him. "Lord Veyrath."
The other Abyssal commanders followed without hesitation, their expressions filled with fear and respect. Veyrath was not an ordinary commander. He was one of the Abyssal Overlords stationed within the higher regions of the battlefield, a terrifying Quasar Realm powerhouse who had survived countless wars against the universal races.
"Tell me about the human," Veyrath said calmly.
Malakor immediately explained everything that had happened. "He appeared suddenly within the Core sector. His true cultivation seems to be Quasar Realm, but he concealed his aura using some unknown transformation technique. He killed many Nebula Realm Abyssal instantly, then destroyed ten Black Hole Realm commanders without allowing them to fight back."
Veyrath remained silent for several seconds before asking, "How many attacks did he use?"
"One."
"One?"
"Yes. The attack killed Nebula Realm Abyssals within few breaths. The next it destroyed ten Black Hole Realm commanders simultaneously. None of them had the opportunity to activate their defensive domains."
Veyrath’s crimson eyes narrowed slightly before a faint smile appeared on his face. "Interesting. Then he is confident in his strength. Very confident."
Malakor lowered his head further. "That is why I contacted you, Lord Veyrath. I believe he may be far more dangerous than we originally assumed."
Veyrath laughed softly. "Then let us see whether his confidence is justified."
His figure disappeared from the command hall.
At the same moment, far away on the battlefield, Victor continued standing calmly in the center of the chaotic war zone. The transparent Chaos and Water elemental spheres remained suspended throughout the battlefield, constantly reflecting his concentrated plasma beams. Purple rays continued traveling between the spheres, multiplying with every reflection before striking the Abyssals with terrifying precision.
Every few seconds, another Abyssal formation collapsed. The universal forces were completely stunned by the sudden change in the battlefield. A single human had appeared in the Core sector, and within a short period of time, he had transformed a desperate defensive battle into a devastating counteroffensive.
"Push forward!"
"Don’t let them escape!"
"The human lord is helping us!"
"Keep the Abyssals pinned down!"
The universal warriors began advancing with renewed confidence. Even the wounded warriors who had previously been preparing for retreat started attacking again. They understood that an incredibly powerful existence had appeared on their side, and as long as they could keep the Abyssals within Victor’s range, victory was no longer an impossible dream.
Victor casually raised his hand. The entire network of Chaos and Water spheres immediately shifted positions, moving across the battlefield and surrounding another enormous Abyssal formation. Thousands of spheres rearranged themselves with perfect precision, creating a gigantic three-dimensional network above the battlefield.
Victor pointed toward the formation.
Dozens of purple rays instantly shot outward. The beams crossed the battlefield, reflected between the spheres, and multiplied again and again. Within moments, the entire Abyssal formation was surrounded by a web of destructive purple light, leaving the Abyssals with almost nowhere to escape.
Victor’s eyes remained indifferent as he watched the destruction unfold. "This is still too slow."
He wanted more enemies.
More commanders.
More powerful opponents.
If the Abyssals were intelligent, they would eventually realize that ordinary forces were completely useless against him. They would have to send stronger opponents, and that was precisely what Victor wanted.
Suddenly, Victor stopped moving.
His expression changed slightly as his eyes turned toward the distant horizon. A strange pressure had appeared there, spreading across millions of kilometers of space. Even the surrounding battlefield seemed to become quieter as countless powerful beings sensed the approaching presence.
The Abyssals noticed it as well.
The battlefield gradually became tense.
The sky above the Core sector suddenly darkened as a massive crack appeared across the void. Space twisted violently around the opening, and an overwhelming pressure poured out from the other side.
Then a black figure stepped through.
The instant his foot touched the battlefield, the surrounding space distorted violently. The countless Chaos and Water spheres floating around Victor trembled under the pressure, while several of the weaker spheres even developed cracks across their surfaces.
Victor narrowed his eyes.
"So you’ve finally sent someone interesting."
The newcomer looked directly at Victor. His crimson eyes scanned the young human from head to toe, carefully examining every detail of his body and aura. The man’s expression remained calm, but there was a trace of curiosity in his eyes.
"So young," he finally said.
His voice spread across the battlefield, reaching every corner of the Core sector. "You possess Quasar Realm strength, yet your physical body does not appear to have reached the same level."
Victor smiled slightly. "Are you here to analyze me or fight me?"
Veyrath laughed.
"Both."
He raised one hand.
Instantly, the entire battlefield changed.
A terrifying black domain expanded outward from Veyrath’s body. The purple plasma beams traveling between Victor’s spheres suddenly slowed down before becoming completely motionless. Even the Chaos and Water elemental spheres began trembling violently under the pressure of the enormous domain.
The universal warriors froze.
"What kind of domain is this?"
"That is a Quasar Realm domain!"
"Everyone retreat!"
The six Black Hole Realm powerhouses who hadn’t left yet immediately became tense. They could clearly feel how terrifying Veyrath’s domain was, and although they knew Victor was powerful, they could not help becoming worried.
"Is that Veyrath? One of the Three Overlords?" one of the elders muttered, his expression turning grim as he stared at the terrifying figure in the distance.
The Three Overlords were the primary powerhouses of the Abyssal side, each possessing overwhelming Quasar Realm strength. They were the main pillars of the entire battlefield, and the universal side had deployed three supreme Quasar Realm geniuses of their own to keep them in check.
"How did he get here?"
Even the Quasar Realm leader of the universal forces appeared momentarily frozen. His expression became extremely serious as he immediately activated his communication array and attempted to contact the three Battle Lords stationed across the battlefield.
"What? Veyrath is there?"
A furious roar suddenly erupted from the other side of the communication channel, causing everyone nearby to flinch.
"Then who the hell is stationed in his region? Damn it! That bastard tricked us!"
The voice was filled with fury and disbelief. They had been deliberately deceived into believing that Veyrath was still guarding his original sector, allowing him to secretly cross the battlefield and confront Victor.
"Keep that human safe at any cost! Do not let anything happen to him. I’m coming immediately!"
The voice paused for a moment before erupting again.
"Go! Move now."
One of the elders tightened his grip around his enormous warhammer. "Young man, that bastard isn’t an ordinary Quasar Realm expert. He has survived countless battles against powerful universal races."
Victor glanced at him before calmly replying, "I know."
Veyrath slowly raised his other hand.
"Darkness Domain."
The entire battlefield was swallowed by darkness.
For an instant, everyone lost their vision. They could no longer see the Abyssals or the universal forces around them. Even their spiritual senses became severely restricted, as though the laws of space themselves had been covered by an endless black veil.
Only Victor remained standing calmly within the darkness.
Then Veyrath’s voice echoed from every direction.
"Your ability to manipulate those strange spheres is impressive. Unfortunately, your technique relies heavily on controlling the battlefield. I have taken the battlefield away from you."
Victor chuckled softly.
"You talk too much."
His eyes suddenly flashed.
A faint ripple spread outward from his body. The Darkness Domain surrounding him trembled violently as cracks appeared across the endless black space.
Veyrath’s expression changed.
"What?"
Victor took one step forward.
The darkness cracked even further.
He took another step.
The cracks spread across the entire domain like an enormous spiderweb.
Then Victor took a third step.
BOOM!
The entire Darkness Domain exploded apart.
Light returned to the battlefield.
Every universal warrior stared at Victor in disbelief. He stood calmly in the center of the shattered domain, his Arch Demon Transformation still active. His aura remained almost impossible to sense, yet the overwhelming pressure surrounding him made it clear that he had not been forced to use anything close to his full strength.
Veyrath’s expression finally became serious.
Victor looked directly at him.
"Villains who talk too much always dies first."
