Infinite Mana: I Am The Absolute Supreme
Chapter 107: Another Conspiracy
Victor looked at Delila, his expression a mix of amusement and genuine disbelief. He had just erased a world-ending calamity in a single strike, accumulated enough Evolution Points to become a local deity, and yet this newly minted Sovereign was standing there offering him a job application.
"Join the Demonic Dragons?" Victor repeated, tilting his head. "You know, your timing is impeccable. But I will have to pass. I am not really big on the whole enslaving civilizations corporate culture."
Delilas smile did not falter, but the temperature around them plummeted instantly. "A pity. True geniuses always possess a tragic amount of pride. You believe that vaporizing a mindless beast makes you invincible. You understand nothing of the laws that govern the universe."
She took a single step forward.
The sky above them instantly turned pitch black. Day transformed into a starless, suffocating night as her domain manifested.
[Warning! Sovereign Realm Domain detected: Absolute Darkness.]
[All sensory inputs and divine senses are being suppressed.]
Victors vision vanished. The sound of the wind died. Even his internal perception of his own body began to blur, as if he were floating in a void of nothingness. It was a terrifying ability. Against any normal opponent, losing every sense meant instant execution.
"Within my darkness, you are blind, deaf, and powerless," Delilas voice echoed, seemingly coming from inside Victors own mind.
"Die with regret."
A blade of condensed, absolute darkness materialized inches from Victors throat, moving at a speed that defied the physical laws of the mortal realm.
Suddenly a brilliant flash of purple and gold light erupted, shattering the silence.
Delilas eyes widened in shock as her blade of darkness struck an impenetrable wall of pure, chaotic energy. Victor was standing exactly where he had been, his hand raised casually, blocking the strike with a barrier of raw mana.
"Nice trick," Victor said, his voice was completely clear. He looked directly into her eyes, proving his vision was perfectly fine. "But when the gap in raw power is wide enough, concepts like darkness do not really matter. You are just filtering out light. But I am the light."
"Impossible!" Delila retreated instantly, her elegant composure fracturing. "How can your divine sense pierce my domain? You have not even integrated with higher elemental rules!"
"I do not need rules when my stats are basically a cheat code," Victor muttered.
He did not want to waste another second. The global broadcast was still running, and humanity needed to see this threat thoroughly neutralized. More importantly, he had 11.5 trillion Evolution Points burning a hole in his pocket, and he was eager to go spend them.
"System, merge the chaos element with the domain. Though it can’t become a pure chaos domain, it can at least have some effect."
[Ding! 100 billion evolution points are used. The chaos element is merged with the light domain.]
He took a deep breath, and a minuscule spark of deep, shifting purple light ignited at the center of his chest. In the next millisecond, it exploded outward.
Delilas Absolute Darkness did not just recede. It shattered like brittle glass. The sky fractured into brilliant, chaotic hues of cosmic purple, gold, and deep void black. The sheer weight of his Light Domain merged with Chaos Element brought Delila to her knees. The pressure was so immense that the ground beneath her sank by tens of meters, turning to fine dust.
"What... what kind of monster are you?" Delila gasped, her blood running cold.
The terrifying pressure she had exuded just moments ago was utterly crushed. Facing Victor did not feel like facing a human, or even a cosmic creature. It felt like standing before the fundamental laws of creation itself. She could tell how terrifying this purple element was.
Far away, watching through the communication crystal, the Demonic Dragon President stood up so fast his chair shattered. "Delila! Retreat! Flee immediately! That is not a native power. Thats..."
"Too late," Victors voice whispered from right beside Delila.
She had not even seen him move. The next moment, Victor waa standing infront of her.
Victor raised a single finger, pointing it directly at her forehead. The purple radiance of the Chaos infused Judgment Ray began to condense at the tip.
"Wait!" Delila screamed, the absolute terror of death finally erasing her arrogance.
A beam of primordial light pierced through her head, obliterating her soul, her mastery over elemental rules, and her existence before the sound of the blast could even register. The remaining energy shot upward, piercing a hole straight through Ethereums atmosphere and dispersing into the cosmos.
[Ding! You have killed a Sovereign Realm Cultivator.]
[You have gained 50,000,000 Evolution Points.]
Victor lowered his hand, the domain fading back into his body. He looked down at the empty space where the proud Demonic Dragon captain had stood just moments before.
"Two down," Victor said softly.
Suddenly, his mental link with his avatar pulsed with a sharp surge of combat feedback.
"Right, the soldiers."
Turning his head toward the direction of Aurora Citys dungeon, Victor vanished into thin air.
At the entrance of the Aurora City dungeon, a scene of absolute carnage was unfolding, but not the kind the Demonic Dragons had anticipated.
The tidal wave of crimson eyed soldiers that had rushed out of the dungeon with roars of bloodlust had run face first into a wall of pure slaughter.
Victor’s avatar, a towering silhouette of condensed, volatile mana, stood at the center of a mountain of black blooded corpses. It did not use flashy spells. It moved with mechanical perfection, punching through dragon scale armor, tearing wings, and unleashing localized explosions of mana with every sweep of its arms.
"Monster! He is a monster!" a Demonic Dragon vice captain screamed, desperately trying to fly backward into the safety of the dungeon portal. "The captain is dead! We need to..."
The real Victor materialized directly in front of the escaping vice captain.
"Going somewhere?" Victor asked with a smile.
Before the soldier could scream, Victor clapped his hands together. A shockwave of pure force erupted, instantly vaporizing the remaining Demonic Dragon vanguard in a radius of three kilometers.
Silence returned to the dungeon entrance.
Victor stood amidst the dust, turning his gaze toward the sky where the global broadcast drones were hovering. He knew billions of humans were staring at their screens right now, holding their breath, waiting to see if their world was about to end.
Victor raised a hand and gave a casual wave to the camera.
"The threat is taken care of," Victor said, his voice broadcasted to every corner of the globe. "Humanity stands."
Across the planet, in every bunker, city, and shelter, a deafening roar of cheers erupted, shaking the very foundations of the planet.
People wept, embraced, and screamed Victors name. The dark age was over.
But Victor was not looking at the cameras anymore. He closed his eyes, focusing inward on the massive, staggering number blinking in his status screen.
[Evolution Points: 11,49,255,000,000]
Victor took a deep breath as he looked at the billions of Evolution Points stored within the system.
Everything had led to this moment.
It was finally time to evolve not just his strength, but his very existence.
...
On the Demonic Dragon Planet, an oppressive killing intent engulfed the presidential palace.
The president stood with his fists tightly clenched, his eyes burning with boundless fury. Delila had not only been his strongest commander but also the woman he cherished the most. Her death had ignited a rage that threatened to consume his sanity.
"I will tear that bastard apart."
"I will erase that insignificant planet from existence."
His voice echoed throughout the hall, causing every subordinate present to lower their heads in fear.
After a long silence, the president looked toward one of his trusted officials.
"File a report to the higher authorities."
"Tell them that a Phoenix Seed has appeared on that primitive planet and that someone has already inherited it. Report that the inheritor has become an extraordinary threat and request the immediate dispatch of a Galactic Realm powerhouse."
The hall instantly fell silent.
Every official turned deathly pale.
One of them gathered enough courage to step forward and bowed deeply.
"My Lord... if the report turns out to be false, it will be considered deceiving the higher authorities."
"You could be branded a traitor."
The president’s expression did not change in the slightest.
"Do as I ordered."
"I will bear all the consequences myself."
Without waiting for another response, he turned around and walked toward the deepest chamber beneath the palace.
Hidden thousands of meters underground was a secret room protected by countless formations.
Standing in its center, the president slowly took out a tiny golden drop of blood sealed within a crystal container. Although it was no larger than a grain of rice, it radiated an ancient pressure that distorted the surrounding space.
A trace of reluctance flashed across his face.
"I never thought I would have to use the greatest fortune I obtained by sheer luck."
He gently held the golden blood essence in his palm before his eyes gradually filled with cold determination.
"But for you, Delila..."
"I will have my revenge."
The crystal shattered.
The golden blood essence fused into the body of one of his prepared avatars, instantly causing its aura to rise to an astonishing level.
Moments later, the avatar stepped into a White Dungeon, disappearing from the Demonic Dragon Planet.
The mysterious golden blood essence crossed countless light-years before silently descending into Ethereum.
...
At the same moment, Victor, who was preparing for his evolution, suddenly heard Nova’s anxious voice.
[Victor, an extremely powerful blood essence has just merged into this world.I have a bad feeling about this.]
Victor slowly opened his eyes.
"They really refuse to give up."
He frowned for only a brief moment before shaking his head.
His current strength had already surpassed that of an ordinary Elemental Sovereign. Unless an existence far beyond that descended, he believed he could deal with any threat that appeared.
Pushing those thoughts aside, Victor looked at the system interface before him.
His eyes became calm and resolute.
"Let’s begin evolving."
