Meanwhile, over in the south along the huge piece of the super continent once known to the world as a continent itself, Africa.

Within the grand castles of the Mali Empire, Emperor Mansa Musa sat on his throne, a frown carved across his face.

"My lord, I am pleased to finally relay to you that the quota has been met," a minister relayed hurriedly, his voice quivering.

They had assured the emperor that preparations would be done within two days, yet they had delayed for twenty!

That was an enormous offence of lying to the emperor, one that might have cost them their heads.

’Fortunately, our sire is a man of understanding, or I’m afraid I wouldn’t have seen today,’ the minister in charge of the mines shivered in thought.

A dark green shade seeped into the emperor’s aura, his charm taking on a darker air.

The entire hall filled with his bone-chilling aura...

He wasn’t pleased, but alas he couldn’t bring himself to blame them either.

No one could have accounted for the Avians getting news of their massive efforts on the mines and striking precisely at this sore spot.

They had tried to be as discreet as possible, but in these lands the Avians commanded the sky, and nothing could be hidden from their gaze it seemed...

He rose from his throne, stepping into the light, his dark bronze skin gleaming with radiance.

His topless chest adorned with all sorts of luxurious chains, his hands carrying numerous bracelets.

His regal look was densely ornate, and he took brisk steps down the platform his throne sat upon.

Walking past the minister and heading straight for the treasury.

The minister scampered to follow behind him, keeping his head low as he escorted him through the grand halls of the castle.

Leading him before a massive double iron-clad door, simmering with lights of enchantment.

The emperor leisurely waved his hands, causing a ripple of light to spread through the air and the pair of iron-clad doors to swing right open.

The ministers came to a halt, not daring to follow their liege into the treasury room, they were forbidden from stepping foot into it unless by the emperor’s decree.

Mansa Musa walked into the brilliantly lit interior of the grand treasury, which gleamed with mountains of gold and the most precious of stones and ore.

A treasury spanning the size of fifteen football fields meshed into one, filled to the brim with mountains of treasures as far as the eye could see.

No human could lay eyes on this sight and not go mad from greed.

This was solid proof that the title King of Heavenly Wealth wasn’t misplaced.

Emperor Mansa Musa strolled into the grand scenery, his stride unhurried, his breathing steady as a calm sea.

This might be more fortune than any human could possibly fathom, but to him this was mere change.

You see, unlike Qin Shi Huang the Strategist and Gilgamesh the warrior king,

Mansa Musa was a special ruler in his own right, a destined emperor born into boundless providence.

He wasn’t an emperor who bothered himself with war and battles, no that wasn’t his strength.

No, he ruled his time with wealth and threw money till all his problems stopped being problems, and this time would be no different.

A screen appeared before him...

[Do you wish to activate Equivalent Exchange? Y/N]

Without wasting time, he accepted, setting his conditions...

[Condition: Total annihilation!]

[Target: Avian, Dune Wraiths, Blightborn]

[Cost: 125,456,980,567 Wp (Wealth points)]

[Balance: 231,097,511 Wp]

[Will you proceed with this exchange? Y/N]

Without even as much as a blink, Mansa Musa punched down, confirming the exchange...

A bizarre sight followed as mountains of gold began to dissolve into nature, forming back into world essence.

And dissolving into the atmosphere, like that, a sum of wealth enough to make even outer-planet colonies drool was exhausted in one go.

Mansa Musa smiled, his hands clasped behind his back, now that that was done.

All that was left was to sit back and wait for the trade to be honored.

Within the span of ninety days, the entirety of these three supreme races would be wiped out!

He had basically placed an unbreakable curse on the three races, as even the world would begin to reject them even if by some miracle they survived past ninety days.

Their fortunes would be overturned, and every mistake would lead to an inevitable loss until they were entirely wiped out...

"Like I said, I might be last, but I will be grand," Mansa Musa muttered, wearing a cold smile, as he stared into the void.

... Five weeks passed, Seth and Uriel still remained in a comatose-like state.

But alas, the world didn’t revolve around him, the war didn’t halt because he was out of the game.

As things were getting more and more intense, the ancient races were now more proactive since the annihilation of two races.

Heck, it might even be three for all they knew, the flame dragons still remained unresponsive.

They were forced to face the reality that the human race was no joke, and was a scary force on its own.

How many battles had they won? Thousands perhaps, yet they were still losing the war.

These humans... they really had changed...

The realization came late and hard, alas they had escalated things far too far to seek a truce now.

With the looming, haunting pressure of the Temple of the Seven Deadly Sins about to open its doors.

They were pressured, they had to exhaust all means to bring the humans down.

So despite losing their core forces, the ancient race alliance remobilized their forces, sorting treaties with weaker races.

Having more supply of cannon fodder, they were able to keep up with the war of attrition, even though each time they fought the humans, they seemed to only grow stronger.

The leaders of the ancient races all agreed unanimously that the humans had to go regardless of the means.

Several forces stopped holding back, deploying full forces, and keeping the battle highly active.

And it didn’t come as a surprise that the elite survivors of the attack division were remobilized by the president.

They were given enough time to recover, their numbers had been doubled and the entire force had been reorganized.

Their battle gear was now refreshed, with more than enough units of mecha suits available for deployment.

Led by Lara Stidum, the new attack division was deployed to exterminate another race.

This time the president picked an opponent whose home was within reach.

A pretty annoying bunch really, the Rock Gnome race...

A small group of an infertile species, their most distinctive feature being their grey, rock-textured skin.

A race with absolute defence, even from birth...

Even though this target was a group of small giants, the humans’ mecha suits would even that edge.

And besides, if the capabilities of the elite soldiers were even half of what they estimated them to be, this would be a difficult but manageable clash.

These soldiers indeed had the capability to wipe out the small but mighty race... at least he hoped so...

Till team apex was fully functional again they were all he had.
