Infinite Evolution: Dominating The Apocalypse With My God Tier Items
Chapter 398: Absolute Victory
It was a slaughter...
A genocide, one might even say...
An entire race of warriors, bred to thrive in battle, decimated just like that.
The Jinn were known as one of the top contenders for the hegemony title among the ancient races.
They held quite the status compared to others despite being so scant in numbers.
In fact they could even be considered one of the smallest races in terms of numbers, right behind the Avians.
And yet they couldn’t even resist the might of a human army...
Craning his head upwards, the Jinn supreme leader, bleeding out on the earth, pinned by a spear to a boulder, heaved while he cast his blurry sight to the towering silhouettes of the human forces looming over him.
’No, not human.’ The Jinn leader hissed in spite, these things were beasts, savages bearing might far beyond what humans were known for.
This couldn’t be a human army! Maybe some races had defected?
The Jinn leader’s vision focused on the face looming right above his bleeding body.
Holding his helm by the arm, a knight towering about an estimated height of at least 11.5 feet.
No, at this point that wasn’t tall, that was a towering entity, a creature that would carry an absurd amount of might due to its mass.
"Hmmmm, I don’t think this one is dead!" the soldier announced, speaking in Arabic, his voice deep.
"Then what are you waiting for, fool! Finish it," the towering knight chuckled, scratching his shiny bald head.
Turning to the poor Jinn, that was all it took as the knight’s frame whipped, a mace at rest bursting into the air and down.
The Jinn leader couldn’t believe it, "I-I am just going to die like th-" his thoughts were brought to a cruel halt, as a splash burst out, black blood pouring from what was left of the squashed head like a geyser.
The chaotic mist at the base where the Jinn’s lower limbs were meant to be went still, dissipating and leaving a limbless, smooth end revealed as a result.
The blood trickled down the boulder, converging with the stream of inky black blood pooling over the entire basin of the plateau.
Corpses lying in the puddle of the blood of theirs and their kin.
The Aquarbu finally got to the shore, rising to witness the gruesome sight lying before them.
Their allies completely wiped out by humans?
Wait, this was a genocide!
The Aquarbu race patriarch felt a chill sink into his marrow.
As a creature of the sea he was meant to be practically immune to cold, but oh well...
An entire race, just like that, had been wiped right off the map!
Right before their eyes, the figures standing high like steel mountains began to glow.
A strange presence loomed from their frames, were these guys getting even stronger?!
Every mind that came to this conclusion went cold, a tremor spreading through the ranks.
This war didn’t feel so promising anymore, their morale plummeted that very instant.
Who were they kidding, could they as an entire race boast the might to defeat the Jinn?
The answer was a big fat no!
And the odds were that the same creatures that could decimate the Jinn so easily and fast could very much do the same to them.
There was no way in hell they were going to commit useless suicide by throwing themselves at that.
"RETREAT!!!" The Aquarbu leader’s voice boomed, echoing far and wide through the entire area.
The humans suddenly burst into a sprint, streaking right towards them at ungodly speeds.
Without hesitation the entire Aquarbu race receded as fast as they had arrived at the shore, scrambling into the surf at speeds their bodies could allow.
The Aquarbu weren’t quite a prominent race, while they still viewed themselves as superior to humans they were still at the bottom of the food chain compared to the others.
Hence why their egos weren’t so hard to crush, and why delusion didn’t have enough grip to cloud the race leader into leading them to their deaths.
Unfortunately, they fled faster than the humans could catch up.
They could only watch, jaws clenched, as the scaled men zoomed through the water like torpedoes.
The humans were well aware they simply wouldn’t be able to keep up in water, in fact they would be at a sore disadvantage.
It wasn’t worth the risk...
And besides, they had completed the primary objective ordered by the emperor.
And now the jinn had been wiped out just like that!
The leader of this batch of soldiers rallied the rest, preparing to head back to the base.
Grins spread across their faces as they read through the notifications flashing on their screens.
[Congratulations! The Human Race has met ??(Visible to only those of high karmic value) Requirements!]
[Congratulations! The Human Race has received the binding stat...]
Reading to this point, breaths seemed to hold, they all felt the new connection established to their souls.
But they didn’t know where this connection stemmed from.
[Essence]...
Back on the other end, the Ifrits and Sand Spirits had been forced to flee.
The humans commenced a hot pursuit, slaughtering all that were slow enough to fall into their hands.
The sea of sand in the desert was soaked, molten-hued blood bearing sizzling heat pouring and pooling beneath corpses.
And grey, metal-tinted blood gathering beneath the dead Sand Spirits.
It was also a complete massacre over here, the Ifrits and Sand Spirits barely putting up any resistance.
With the Ifrits losing their king, their morale was the first to crumble.
The human forces seemed to slow, as Emperor Gilgamesh crushed the last of his prey beneath his war hammer.
Fixing his focus on the dazzling text glowing before him.
[Congratulations! Humans have met the hidden Requirements (Extermination)!]
[Congratulations! The Human Race has received the binding stat... Essence!]
A smile grew on his lips, as he raised his hands, cool currents of essence coursing through them faster, denser and more fluid.
As if he was more in tune to manipulating this energy.
The smile beneath Gilgamesh’s helm widened, if this continued the human race would be beyond unstoppable very soon...
