Infinite Evolution: Dominating The Apocalypse With My God Tier Items
Chapter 396: Nephilim Army?
At the same time, far in the north of the Pangea continent...
The vast territory of Emperor Gilgamesh...
At the heart of the former Middle Eastern region called the UAE.
In the vast mansion reserved for the emperor himself, crafted with the aesthetics of the modern era.
Emperor Gilgamesh could be seen sitting upon a massive throne coated with the regal splendor of gold.
His towering frame lay lax, his knuckles supporting his plated jaw, elbows dug against the metal armrest of the throne.
Before him a knight in plated gold armour, signifying status of the highest order of knights in his ranks.
"Your Majesty, the trials have been completed, they are stable..." a bold voice echoed through the grand, luxurious hall.
A bright orb of green shone through the slits of the emperor’s grand crowned helm.
The emperor leaned forward, intrigue and a shade of excitement in the tilt of his helm as he stared down at his subordinate.
Even sitting, Gilgamesh towered about nine feet, he was a giant of a man in every form and reason.
Cloudy fog gathering around his mouth as he breathed, the air warping around the seams of his existence, his overwhelming presence weighing heavy on the room.
"Oh? Stable? No side effects? What an interesting procedure genetics is, eh?" the emperor contemplated, speaking the most words anyone had ever heard from him in one go.
A low chuckle rolled out of the emperor, and honestly, who wouldn’t be pleased?
Unless you were a member of the ancient race that was the enemy, you had no reason not to be pleased.
Due to genetic engineering, scientists of the north had been able to breed a special elite force of humans.
Drawing a genetic sample from the emperor and his kin directly, they were able to replicate the intriguing genetic mutation sequence that made them giants.
And now they could apply it to those suitable for the procedure.
And now, fortunately, they had bred an army of unstoppable, mass-slaughtering elite giants.
Now that the trial sequence was over, the elite army would be delegated to war and when that happened the war in the North would be as good as won.
Gilgamesh’s colossal frame rose from his throne, his deep shadow casting over his subordinate clad in gold.
"I might be third, but I will be grand..." his bold voice echoed through the hall.
He took a step down the platform elevating his throne, his hands crossing behind his back.
"Deploy them for me... I’ll be leading them myself!"
The golden knight’s head remained bowed, "It is our honor, Emperor."
With that the knight rose, head still locked downwards, and marched out of the hall.
Leaving Gilgamesh, who was summoning his divine weapon.
The grand Emperor was indeed unlike the others, because while Qin Shi Huang was a strategic-focus emperor and Mansa Musa was a wealthy ruler,
Gilgamesh was a warrior king before he acquired the Karmic Emperor’s fortune.
That is what he was and what he always would be, he thrived in war.
His providence blistered his military force, he was a king of conquest, and he was going to conquer those non-human bastards, even if they seemed insurmountable.
They were merely a stepping stone in his eyes...
Gilgamesh had a greater appetite than these measly ancient species could handle.
He wasn’t alone, all the emperors had their eyes focused on the star.
They didn’t seal themselves to scramble for a single planet.
A glorious war hammer rippling with veins of pulsing green, ancient inscriptions glowing with a jade cadence.
A weapon fashioned to crush all who stood in his way.
The emperor took another step, a wave of essence pulsing into the atmosphere, warping reality and folding space.
Tearing a wormhole through reality so casually.
His hammer rising to rest on his broad shoulders, as he made his way through the wormhole, his gait steady and heavy.
The pressure building against the very air itself, he appeared on the other end of the folded space.
A grand desert lined with enemy forces dotting the horizon, marching forward like a tide of endless infantry ripped from the annals of history.
The emperor stood on humanity’s side all alone, his back empty and clear, at least for now.
Barely seconds passed when sparks sputtered, random but organized, a wormhole boring through reality, taking form.
A space gate ability on the scale that would make the USA drool.
Grand portals making way for towering humanoids clad like steel mountains, glinting silver under the lights of the dimming sky.
Each giant armed with halberds and pavise shields.
As they marched out of the wormholes, forming arrayed lines behind their emperor, killing intent brewing.
As hundreds increased to thousands, and they just kept pouring out, reaching the tens of thousands.
The very desert began to rumble as their synchronized march began to quake the plain.
A nightmare force, almost like an entire nephilim army walking the earth.
Well, this force was close, humans powered to the levels of titan lifeforms, yet carrying the shrewdness and dangerous intellect of human intelligence buffed by a binding stat.
They marched as one with clear purpose, reaching the peak number of 61,599 men.
Each stood about 10.2 feet tall, carrying a towering mass that weighed heavy on the earth.
Each step they took causing the world to react around them.
Each breath causing a mini vacuum, their heartbeats pounding loud like drums.
Spearheading the force of the North, the emperor’s warhammer rose high as his voice billowed through the wind like a storm.
"READY!!!"
The skies rumbled, as the colossi stomped the ends of their halberds against the sandy ground of the desert once in unison.
Their energy rising high like a stormy tide...
The entire field rumbled in response, the men were ready, they were arrows nocked and drawn, ready to be let loose.
The emperor’s helm concealed the wide smile pasted on his lips.
His hammer fell horizontal, the hammer head cocked towards the looming tide of enemy forces over the horizon.
And their voices echoed loud, roars booming and rippling across the horizon.
Emperor Gilgamesh’s frame crouched low like a spring, ready to pounce, and with a blink he went blurry.
His body appeared right above the vanguard of the enemy forces, the foreign races looking up in shock at the sudden assault.
His warhammer cocked all the way back as waves of power ramped up, a shade of jade pulsing brilliantly and illuminating the area.
Before anyone could let out their held breaths, the emperor’s arms whipped down, a burst of light leveling the area.
The air exploded and the sands rose like a stormy wave, swallowing thousands of miles as violent winds ripped through the entire area.
The sound of the explosion resounded like a furious clap of thunder, echoing...
