Chapter 308: Infinite Loop

On a cellular level, cells buzzed with excitement entering a phase of rapid division.

Seth’s sore body flooded with power, the pain swallowing his mind whole but his will towered.

Absolute Weapon Resonance! He managed to chant inwardly, his grand weapon maester lineage bubbling with excitement, as the full amplification effect funnelled through his soul.

His frame bulged, his muscles becoming more defined beneath the coating of the dark obsidian scales.

Hand Of Tide!

Booom!

The world shuddered as a wave of blue welled through his frame, reality seemingly coming to halt.

A faint silhouette of a four-armed asura flickering behind Seth, with two arms glowing blue.

Following which...

Armageddon!

A spark of blackish red ignited, as the faint silhouette of the four-armed asura seemed to let out a crazed smile, the figure beginning to overlap with Seth’s frame.

Black lightning cackled around his body, as storms of wind howled round his frame, billowing with unparalleled strength.

A halo of blue coiled round his frame, accompanied with an arc of blackish red lightning of annihilation tearing through reality itself.

The power emanating from Seth caused even the charging dragon to feel its heart skip a beat.

As waves of power, dwarfing the frame of the source itself, welled, yet Seth wasn’t done...

His eyes snapped open, carrying a cold glint of a royal purple halo, his scaled lips moved, whispering faint words.

Chanting the final skill of the mix...

"Force Embodiment."

His tone, soft and low yet resounding through all...

Everything seemed to come to a sudden halt, even the dragon, the wind, the sky, the earth, it all went still.

As though creation itself held its breath...

From the dragon initiating a follow-up attack till now, barely a second had passed, the gene skill activation so fast the dragon couldn’t do anything to stop it even if it tried.

Not to mention it didn’t know how gene skills worked, it didn’t even know they existed, in its eyes this human just suddenly grew more powerful out of nowhere.

The dragon’s heart shook, in the stilled space, it could feel the danger coming but could do nothing to resist, it just wasn’t fast enough to stop.

Seth’s frame exploded into a greater mass... tumultuous currents raging from out of nowhere.

A force that was neither wind nor gravity exploded out, so fast, so overwhelming, even the dragon was swept with the current.

Its propelling frame swept back uncontrollably, it couldn’t resist no matter how it tried, the wave chaotic and raging too overwhelming for the beast to seek a stable balance.

Its colossal frame sent flying into the distance, sent right back to where it came from.

The raging current launched it across the earth, scraping and skidding in a sorry state, one of its wings popping a joint as it struggled against the current.

Causing the dragon to howl in pain...

Meanwhile...

A series of system prompts flowed through Seth’s vision.

His eyes glowed brighter, his mass exploding even further, as the glyph dragon, sensing the surge of power, howled in joy, channeling more of its skill through its master.

The dragon manifestation ability grew beyond previous parameters, Seth’s hair flowing and fluttering as billows of power raged.

The silver strands glinting like strands of light, waving in the sea of dim crimson.

All while his frame ballooned, beyond human proportions.

The gene skills activated, feeding into an infinite loop.

With the enhancement of all skills feeding into each other, growing his might beyond what even Seth thought possible.

This had happened before, back during his class quest, but even then it wasn’t as exaggerated as now.

Perhaps because he hadn’t thrown both of the asura innate gene skills into the mix.

His bronze cells buzzed, sensing the surging flow of energy, indulging in it with relish, dividing and multiplying, pushing the limits of the bronze human state.

All while Seth’s mind was swallowed whole by the sea of pain.

From the system notification to his size change, he registered none, as the tormenting pain almost made him blind, his frame curled into a fetal position, as the energy continued to churn...

[Skill Chain: Infinite Surge has been activated.]

And then it all clicked, like a raging sea suddenly going calm, Seth was suddenly overcome with a soothing relief of nothing.

Catastrophic power flowing through his veins, his eyes slowly parted, his body unfurling as he collapsed to the earth on all fours.

His chest heaved, as he let out shaky foggy breaths.

"W-what just happened?" He wondered, staring at his hands.

He had merely activated all his skill in a desperate attempt to tap into the power he had once harnessed when facing the last divine remnant of the class quest.

But now... this power, it was definitely beyond what he sought.

He rose to his feet, staring at his surroundings, and feeling the remnant commotion he had provoked.

His heart skipped a beat, he had seen even the dragon overwhelmed and swept away by the overpowering tide of force, then what about his soldiers?

His head whipped towards the direction they were supposed to be at.

And he froze, his heart skipping a bit, and his eyes widening.

The soldiers were surprisingly fine against all odds. It seemed even in an unconscious state he had managed to divert the energy flow so it wouldn’t harm them, but... why were they so small?

’Wait.’ His eyes widened even further as he turned back to stare at his hands, casting introspection.

Realizing... "Wait, why the hell am I so huge?" just when he was thinking it couldn’t get any freakier.
