Chapter 504: Nurse Profession, Medical Soothing

Back in the small cabin at the center of the Scavenger’s Farm, Seraphina Sullivan sat on a chair, closing her eyes to calm herself.

Although Flora and Tubbs had been affected by the Demonization Aura, their symptoms didn’t seem to worsen after returning to the Scavenger’s Farm.

The figure on the right wore an apron and held a bowl of steaming hot soup.

Ability One – Nutritious Soup: Use available ingredients to brew a restorative broth. Drinking it rapidly restores stamina and energy.

Ability Two – Nutritious Recipe: Create special recipes based on available ingredients. Consumption provides temporary buff Effects.

Seraphina Sullivan’s gaze shifted back and forth between the two Professions, her mind racing.

Seraphina Sullivan took a deep breath, her gaze locking onto the figure of the nurse on the left.

The moment she spoke, the figure dissolved into a soft white light and merged into her body.

A warm Energy spread from her chest, flowing through her entire body.

New knowledge surfaced in her mind.

How to condense a Medical Bandage, how to release the soothing Energy, and how to sense the presence of mental abnormalities.

Seraphina Sullivan opened her eyes, feeling the new Power within her.

‘Nurse.’

She immediately stood up and walked toward Flora’s freezer room.

Pushing the door open, she saw Flora Sullivan still eating frantically, though her pace had slowed a little, as if she was tired.

“Flora.”

Flora Sullivan looked up. The red glow in her eyes remained, but the moment she saw Seraphina Sullivan, she forced a smile. “M-Master… I’m fine… I’ll be okay after a meal…”

Seraphina Sullivan shook her head, walked to her side, and gently placed a hand on her forehead.

‘Medical Soothing, activate.’

A soft white light spilled from her palm, slowly seeping into the space between Flora Sullivan’s brows.

The light was warm and tranquil, like a mother’s hand gently caressing her baby’s cheek.

Flora Sullivan’s body stiffened.

Then, the red glow in her eyes began to recede.

“Master…” Flora Sullivan murmured, her eyelids growing heavy. “I’m so sleepy…”

“Go to sleep,” Seraphina Sullivan said, helping her lie down and covering her with a piece of clothing. “You’ll be fine when you wake up.”

Flora Sullivan closed her eyes, her breathing steadied, and she fell into a deep sleep.

Seraphina Sullivan sat beside her, a small smile playing on her lips as she watched her sleep peacefully.

With the Medical Soothing Ability, Seraphina Sullivan felt much more at ease. Looking at the soundly sleeping Flora, she thought for a moment before deciding to take her outside to test the Effect.

As for Tubbs…

Seraphina Sullivan glanced in its direction.

Tubbs was still busy.

The Flame Chicken was currently perched triumphantly atop Chubbs, the feathers on its neck puffed out in a ring, looking for all the world like a victorious general.

Chubbs’s round eyes were half-closed, its expression a mixture of pain and pleasure. It occasionally let out a feeble “CLUCK—”

Seraphina Sullivan expressionlessly averted her gaze.

‘I’ll deal with it after it’s finished.’

A flash of light, and Seraphina Sullivan reappeared in the dilapidated classroom with Flora.

Flora took a deep breath, closed her eyes to feel the effects for a moment, then opened them in surprise. “Master… that soothing really works!”

She stretched her body, her long hair drifting gently. “I can still feel that angry Power trying to influence me, but the urge to kill is much weaker.

“It’s like… It’s like someone built a Wall in my head to keep the bad stuff out.”

Seraphina Sullivan nodded, lost in thought.

‘The Effect of Medical Soothing is even better than I imagined.’
