On the vast, golden ocean plane, a cosmic egg sat silently upon the water. Every so often, it released a pulse of multicolored light while absorbing new rays from the surroundings, breathing like a living lung.

"It’s been five months, and there is still no sign of him coming out," a small, dark figure said. Clad in a dark purple gown, her voice was delicate, smooth, and yet paradoxically non-existent.

She was the Nihility spirit from Aeon’s Affinity. For the past five months, she, the other origin spirits, and Emma had kept an uninterrupted vigil over Aeon.

"I can still feel the immense power radiating from him. How can a mortal being like this even exist? To possess the potential to dominate everything above and below our own existence..." Another spirit spoke. Draped in a white robe, her forehead was inscribed with a glowing YIN symbol.

Floating above the water, Emma’s expression had been that of a bored kid. But the moment she caught the Yin spirit’s words, her eyes lit up.

"Of course our master is amazing! He is very extraordinary!" Emma declared, lifting her chin proudly. She pointed a thumb at her own chest, looking across at the ancient entities. "And I was his very first spirit and servant. You must all show proper respect to your big sister!"

The spirits were utterly dumbfounded. They—the everlasting beings, he pillars that uphold the very existence of reality—were being told to call an unknown little spirit "big sister"...Dream on.

Choosing silence over a pointless argument, the spirits ignored her and refocused their attention on the egg.

With a massive shattering sound, a humanoid silhouette emerged from the center of the light. Aeon floated upward, completely naked, his eyes closed. He suspended himself fifteen meters in the air.

The next moment, intricate geometric patterns spread across his pupils. His Infinite Eyes of Omniscience had fully activated, radiating absolute authority.

Standing mid-air as if the sky itself were solid ground, Aeon casually summoned a pair of pants to cover his lower half. Then, a sudden rustle tore through the air as wings erupted from his back.

They were not his usual draconic wings. From his right shoulder blade, three black and three white angelic wings unfolded. From his left, six massive, fiendish devil wings unfurled. Each wing was etched with unique, glowing inscriptions and patterns.

Whooosh!

Atop Aeon’s head, his cosmic horns swam with stars and nebulas, but right beside them, a second pair of curved devil horns materialized.

Aeon hovered for a brief moment, adjusting to his body, before walking down toward the surface. Space rippled like water beneath his bare feet with every step.

In a flash, Aeon vanished, reappearing directly in front of his spirits without leaving a blur or a sound.

"Hey guys, how long was I inside the egg?" Aeon asked casually, flashing them a smile.

"Master!" Emma flew forward instantly, hugging his cheek tightly. "I missed you so much! You’ve been in that egg for five months. Let’s get out of here immediately and look around the academy. I can’t stand staying in this place anymore!"

It was clear she didn’t miss him that much, and just wanted to get if hear. But Aeon decided not to expose her and laughed softly, gently patting her head with his index finger.

"Hahaha, alright, alright. We will leave soon."

Turning his attention back to the shattered eggshell, he made a simple hand gesture. Every fragment floated into the air, drawing toward his palm.

Smiling back at the spirits, he said, "Alright, let’s head out. But first, let me revert to my original form. I can’t let others see me looking like a multi-winged demon god."

Because of the devil bloodline he got from the quests and the bloodline from Seraphina and Leonhardt, he had also gained the physical traits of their bloodline like a new form, where he can change into when ever he wants.

With a thought, Aeon retracted his new wings and devil horns into his body. His pitch-black sclera faded back to white, and he deactivated his Infinite Eyes of Omniscience.

Just as he raised his hand to tear open a portal back to his room back at the academy, a catastrophic weight slammed down from the heavens, crushing Aeon face-first into the golden water.

BOOOOOOOOOM!

The shockwave obliterated everything within thousands of light-years of the golden ocean plane, reducing neighboring space to nothingness. Even the origin spirits and Emma were violently blasted into the ocean, pinned down so hard they couldn’t move an inch.

"Kghh!" Aeon groaned, struggling against the crushing gravity. Never in his both lives had he felt so utterly overwhelmed. He couldn’t even fathom what kind of entity possessed this level of power.

Fortunately, the answers came quickly. The cold, mechanical voice of his system echoed in his mind as a blue window materialized in his vision.
