Immortal World : MILF Dual Cultivation
Chapter 97: Inner Sect Entrance
The roars of ten thousand outer sect disciples shook the heavens, scattering the last clouds of dusk. Their cheers rolled across the green-stone arena like a tidal wave, crashing against the spiritual barriers.
In the center of the ring, Lin Tian stood tall and indifferent. The profound-iron broadsword rested on his back. He didn’t raise his arms, didn’t roar to the sky — just stood with the stillness of a mountain, his golden eyes sweeping over the defeated geniuses around him, several of whom still hadn’t managed to rise from the ground.
He was the Champion of the 142nd Inner Sect Promotion Tournament. Every opponent had fallen to nothing but physical might, combat sense, and footwork sharper than anything this sect had trained into its own disciples, a fact none of them would forget for a long time.
Swoosh. Swoosh
Two streaks of sword light dropped from the white jade platform above, landing within the arena to reveal two elderly men in silver robes, their bodies radiating the dense pressure of Late Core Formation.
"Lin Tian." The first elder’s voice carried a bell-like resonance that quieted the crowd instantly. He stroked his beard, eyes full of appreciation.
"I am Elder Zhao of the Heavenly Forging Peak. Your body is tempered beyond compare, your strength unmatched. Become my legacy disciple, and I will grant you a mid-grade artifact and guide your path to Foundation Establishment."
"Don’t listen to this old blacksmith," the second elder cut in with a laugh, clapping a hand against Elder Zhao’s shoulder hard enough to make the older man stagger half a step.
"I am Elder Sun of the Martial Peak. Your combat sense and footwork are the real treasure here. Join me, and the Heaven-Shattering Fist Arts are yours."
The surrounding disciples gasped, envy plain on their faces. Being claimed by a Core Formation Elder on the day you entered the Inner Sect was the kind of fortune most cultivators never saw in a lifetime — the sort of story that got told and retold for generations after.
Beneath the Abyssal Shadow Veil, Lin Tian’s true liquid Qi rippled with quiet amusement.
Neither of your peaks has anything to teach me, he thought. My path runs through the matriarchs above you, not your techniques.
He clasped his hands and bowed, the picture of a respectful junior.
"Elders, your generosity honors this junior deeply," Lin Tian said, voice carrying quiet conviction. "But my Dao was forged in the blood and mud of the Artifact Graveyard. My heart requires I walk it alone, or it will never harden into anything worth keeping."
The two elders exchanged a glance. Such independence was rare in this world. Whatever disappointment they felt at losing a genius this raw was outweighed by a grudging respect for his resolve.
"Very well." Elder Zhao sighed, waving his sleeve. A jade token carved with crimson clouds floated into Lin Tian’s palm. "Your Inner Sect Identity Token. Your estate is the Cloud-Sea Pavilion, eastern sector. The road of independent cultivation is thorny, junior. May the heavens favor it."
"Thank you, Elders." Lin Tian accepted the token, a hidden light flashing behind his eyes.
High above, three of the Inner Sect’s most powerful women watched the exchange unfold.
Elder Bai’s tired eyes sharpened with intellectual fascination. Turning down two Core Formation protectors to walk his own road — his grasp of the Heavenly Dao runs deeper than anyone his age should have.
Instructor Qing’s breath came faster, her Divine Valkyrie Body reacting to the sight of his retreating back. A lone wolf who refuses the leash. Good. Only someone untamed deserves this much of my attention.
Neither woman said a word to the other, though each noticed the way the other’s gaze lingered a fraction too long on the same departing figure.
As the sun finished setting, Lin Tian turned toward the misty gates separating the Outer Sect from the Inner.
The instant he crossed the boundary, the spiritual density of the air thickened sharply — like stepping out of a dry desert into a mist-soaked valley. The scent of spiritual herbs and ancient pine hung heavy. Floating islands drifted overhead, tethered to the main peaks by glowing array vines, their undersides trailing thin streams of cloud like anchors dragged through water.
Following the pull of his jade token, he wound his way along the mountain paths. Half an hour later, he reached the eastern sector.
Set on the edge of a cliff overlooking an endless sea of clouds stood a sprawling mansion, its walls built from deep-sea profound-wood, its roof tiles catching moonlight in glazed spirit-glass. Even from the outer courtyard, the estate radiated a quiet weight of old, well-maintained wealth.
The Cloud-Sea Pavilion. His new domain.
He fed a trace of Qi into the token. The heavy doors groaned open, defensive arrays humming to life as the courtyard sealed itself off from the outside world, cutting the estate off from prying eyes as completely as the sea of clouds cut it off from the ground below.
He stepped through, the doors closing behind him.
The main hall sat dim under glowing moon-pearls, the air warm and thick with crushed orchid and heavy musk.
Kneeling on the white beast-fur rug at the center of the room was a woman.
A thin red silk robe clung to her curves. Her hair fell loose over pale shoulders. Nothing remained of the strict, commanding Vice-Manager who ran the Inner Sect’s Resource Hall by day.
Here, in this hall, she was only his.
"Welcome home... Master," Madam Shen whispered, her voice thick with reverence and something far hungrier underneath.
Lin Tian stood over her, his shadow falling across her kneeling form. He didn’t speak. He simply let his eyes move over her.
Insight Eye.
[Target: Madam Shen]
[Cultivation: Foundation Establishment Realm (Early Stage)]
[Status: Full Health. Yin and Yang in stable balance.]
[Obsession Level: 100% (Extreme Devotion)]
He smiled faintly. The Yang essence he’d fed her a month ago had stabilized her breakthrough exactly as planned.
"You’ve done well, my Vanguard," he said, his voice low, filling the quiet hall. "Have you secured your footing in the Inner Sect’s resources hall?"
"Yes, Master." She kept her head bowed, chest rising and falling against the thin silk. "I control thirty percent of low-to-mid grade resource distribution. I’ve also gathered what you asked about the Peak Masters — Elder Liu is chasing a rare Yang-attribute catalyst for a pill, and Elder Bai has been isolating herself, her soul-aches worsening..."
She continued through the sect’s politics, her mind sharp even now, laying out names and numbers with the same efficiency she’d once used to manage the Outer Sect’s entire treasury.
Lin Tian decided it was time to see how far the system had grown.
He eased back a fraction of the Abyssal Shadow Veil, letting his Yang scent bleed into the air — heavy, scorching, carrying the weight of dominance itself. The moon-pearls overhead seemed to dim slightly under it, as if even the light in the room had chosen to yield.
Madam Shen’s voice caught mid-sentence.
Her Foundation Establishment cultivation meant nothing against it. Her eyes widened, a shiver running the length of her spine as the scent slipped past every defense she had and struck straight at her devotion.
At a hundred percent obsession, the scent didn’t just weaken her — it swept away whatever composure remained. A month without his Qi left her body starving, and it answered the sudden flood of his presence violently.
Color rushed up her neck. Her breathing turned shallow, uneven. Heat pooled low and sudden, soaking through the silk at her thighs.
"Master..." She lost the thread of her own report entirely, shifting restlessly against the rug, unable to sit still against the ache building in her.
She looked up at him, eyes glassy with need.
"You smell so strong, Master," she whispered, hands trembling as she reached for the hem of his robe. "It’s burning through my thoughts. I missed your heat. I missed being punished by it."
Lin Tian looked down at her — the Vice-Manager of the Inner Sect, reduced to this from a single breath of his aura. The system’s growth since its last evolution was proving itself faster than even he’d expected.
He reached down and tilted her chin up, her skin burning under his palm, the heat of it almost startling even to him after a month apart.
"You’ve doing well in inner sect while I claimed the outer ranks," he murmured, thumb brushing her lower lip. "A loyal Vanguard deserves her reward. How hungry are you, Shen?"
Tears welled in her eyes. She leaned in, pressing her cheek to his thigh, every trace of pride gone, the Vice-Manager who commanded fear across two sects reduced to this single, kneeling shape.
"I’m starving, Master," she breathed. "Please. Fill me with your heat again. Break me the way only you can."
Lin Tian’s smile settled into something dark and certain. The tournament was behind him, the foundation set, and the night still young.
"As you wish."
