Chapter 438: Chapter 435: Overlap

Mo Ling was startled by the image that suddenly appeared on the puddle before him, causing him to jerk back. The Little Elf immediately mirrored his movement, leaning back as well so that their shimmering forms remained one.

Mo Ling quickly realized this strange perspective was the Little Elf’s doing, so he sat up straight and held perfectly still.

"Am I a god now? Did you transfer your privileges to me?"

"Of course not," the Little Elf explained. "I just stuffed myself inside of you. You’re empty, so naturally, I can stuff anything in."

"It’s that simple?"

"It’s that simple."

Mo Ling gave a skeptical nod, and the Little Elf nodded in sync with him.

"No more questions for now. Hurry and help your friend."

The Little Elf shifted their shared perspective, zeroing in on a location within the Sea of Creation.

There, Li Luo was riding the Lego Bird, dodging and weaving through the air. A nigh-unending swarm of creatures that looked like plastic bags pursued them relentlessly.

The plastic bodies were filled with the dismembered limbs of other creatures, and they dripped viscous blood as they flew—a truly terrifying sight.

"What are those things?" Mo Ling asked, staring at the plastic bags in confusion.

"Fly-plastics. A highly aggressive species. They dismember other creatures and stuff the parts inside their bodies. See those limbs?"

"I do."

Thanks to the "god’s-eye view," Mo Ling saw with perfect clarity. He didn’t hesitate, teleporting a chunk of the overwhelming Fly-plastic swarm.

When a small, cube-shaped hole appeared in the center of the Fly-plastic swarm, Mo Ling breathed a sigh of relief.

’Looks like I can teleport anything within my line of sight.’

The god’s-eye view allowed him to see anywhere in the Sea of Creation, massively increasing his teleportation range.

He quickly focused his vision on the Block’s interior, intending to eject the Fly-plastics he’d just captured, only to find the space was completely empty.

’Where are the Fly-plastics I just sent in?’

Mo Ling frantically searched inside the Block. At last, he found some tiny Fly-plastics on the metal floor, so small they looked like specks of dust.

’This small?’

Mo Ling remembered teleporting a space of at least one cubic meter, yet after entering the Block, the Fly-plastics had shrunk to this tiny size.

’Could this be because of the "god’s-eye view"?’

Mo Ling quickly tossed the dust-like Fly-plastics back out. The moment they left, they returned to their original size.

’Their size is really changing. Why is this happening?’

’Wait!’

Mo Ling suddenly realized something:

’The size of a teleported object doesn’t change.’

’What’s changing is the Block! The space inside the Block has gotten bigger!’

But the objects already inside the Block had somehow grown along with it—Martin’s bed, the snacks, the canned food, everything was bigger.

’How could this be?’

Mo Ling thought for a moment. ’The only possibility is the god’s-eye view.’

’Could it be that the size of the Block changes based on my field of vision?’

Before, the expansion of the Block’s interior and the changes in his vision had always occurred simultaneously. Mo Ling had never considered that one caused the other.

But the objects inside had never grown larger with it before.

After a moment of thought, Mo Ling decided to deal with the immediate situation first.

Now that he had enough space for teleportation, there was no need to hold back.

Mo Ling expanded the teleportation frame until it was large enough to encompass the entire swarm of Fly-plastics. Without a moment’s hesitation, he activated it.

...

Meanwhile, Li Luo was anxiously looking over her shoulder. The Fly-plastics had been on their tail ever since they left the Golden Light Sea.

"What are you running for? Just fight them! These damn plastic bags look intimidating, but they’re actually super fragile. A single rock could take one down!" the Head taunted incessantly from its perch on the Lego Bird.

"Then why don’t you go fight them?" the Lego Bird retorted.

The Head immediately grew frantic at the Lego Bird’s question. "I’m testing you! You don’t even have that much courage, and you want to ask a god for help? Pathetic."

When its goading failed, the Head turned to Li Luo.

"Human, why don’t you go fight?"

"I can’t beat them," Li Luo answered bluntly.

"Are you really that weak? Feels like you can’t do anything at all." The Head gave her a disdainful look. "I have no idea how someone like you even made it to the Sea of Creation..."

In the face of the Head’s disdain, Li Luo didn’t show the slightest bit of "shame."

"I am weak."

She admitted it without hesitation.

This time, the Head was left speechless. It sulked back into the Lego Bird’s body, bored.

"Don’t mind it," the Lego Bird said to Li Luo apologetically. "It’s like that with everyone. It has no filter."

"But it won’t hurt you."

Li Luo nodded and glanced back, suddenly noticing a chunk missing from the Fly-plastic swarm.

"The Lucky Block," Li Luo murmured, then glanced at her wrist. The spot where her Purple cord used to be was bare.

She scanned the area for a moment, but saw no sign of the Block.

But only the Block could have made a hole like that.

’Where is it?’

Just as Li Luo was searching, a furious gust of wind suddenly blasted them from the front.

The intense pressure of the wind instantly sent the Lego Bird wobbling through the air.

"Where did this wind come from! Hold on tight!"

Li Luo squeezed her eyes shut, gripping the building block in front of her as she pressed her body low against the bird.

The gale came as quickly as it went, dying down after just a few moments.

"Look behind you!" The Lego Bird’s shocked voice came from beneath her.

Hearing this, Li Luo quickly opened her eyes and looked behind her.

The sight that met her eyes left her stunned speechless.

The swarm of Fly-plastics was completely gone.

But that wasn’t even the most shocking part.

A faint, massive block stood between heaven and earth.

Within the phantom Block was an absolute "void."

No dust, no clouds, no air... nothing. It made the space within seem unbelievably clear, a stark contrast to the world outside the Block’s perimeter.

The Block wasn’t truly there. The contrast was simply so stark that it created a sharp boundary, resulting in a bizarre spectacle:

The clouds were sliced perfectly flat.

Inside the boundary, absolute clarity. Outside, a murky haze.

Only when the gale rushed in to fill the vacuum did the non-existent phantom slowly fade away.

As the "void" was filled and the clarity was once again tainted, the boundary blurred. The massive Block that had stood between heaven and earth vanished without a trace.

But the shock in Li Luo’s heart lingered. The image of the enormous Block felt as if it had been etched into her very vision.

"The Lucky Block..."

She even wondered if her silent plea had actually worked.

The air pressure returned to normal. The Lego Bird circled, stunned, clearly not having processed what just happened.

Just then, the Head scrambled out from the Lego Bird’s body as if it had gone mad, its two withered arms flailing wildly.

"WOOHOO! TRANSCENDENCE!"

"HAHAHAHAHA!"

"WIPED ’EM ALL OUT!"
