Trevor fell forward just a moment later bleeding pretty much everywhere, as the staff reached him catching him before he landed.

Steven was sure they would handle the rest, as he tried to turn around and walk away nearly falling over the molten magma around.

Merency was standing not too far away staring at him her mouth wide open. "Steven are you fine?" She spoke trying to step closer.

But just after taking a step forward she jumped back, "ah fuck ist that hot."

Steven had nearly forgotten his spell had burned down everything around him to ashes, no not even ashes remained.

Taking a leap towards Merency, he answered her. "Im fine a bit of Heat won’t burn a Bright." He hadn’t even noticed turning on the grace of hell.

But their conversation was interrupted by Ms. Trellen stepping beside him also unbothered by the heat.

"Mr Bright I need you to tell me what happened here." She spoke her tone firm as she grabbed his arm.

"Can’t you question someone else I’m tired after all of this." He answered pulling himself away from her powerful grip.

But she only pulled him closer whispering into his ear. " We have lost all ability to watch anyone in the event more multiple times already only your call brought me here." She spoke sounding nervous for the first time.

Steven finally understood as he got confirmation something was more than just wrong here.

"If it’s that way sure Professor." As he quickly told her what happened only leaving out the parts of the mysterious girl because Merency was listening too.

Elizabeth looked like she was about to scold him but before she could a different professor called out to her.

"Elizabeth the guy is still critical we have to bring him back and also communication seems to be back." Ms Trellen turned away with only a serious nod.

Steven watched the professors quickly disappearing taking Trevor with them.

As the reason for why they had even been here landed next to them.

The supply drop was just a small wooden box not even one square meter big.

But Merencys eyes were already gleaming over it like she was some kind of Lioness finding her pray.

Just as she was probably about to throw herself onto it, Steven could hear steps behind him.

Turning his head the rest of the sapphire and Emerald group stood just there staring at them.

"I’m guessing who guys don’t want to fight anymore?" Steven spoke already turning away from them.

"Wouldn’t be as much fun beating you up when you’re already so tired and wounded." His voice sounded cocky but Steven knew he was just joking.

"Don’t worry, I am always ready."

"Nah I got enough for today, let’s leave guys." Their leader continued as they started stepping away, Steven had to hold back his laugh.

Merency only gave him a confused look. "What were they on about? They looked much more tired than we, we should’ve just finished them off."

"It’s fine I don’t think they will bother us so soon again." As to place his and on the supply drop. "Let’s just see if all the effort was worth it."

Reminding her of the rewards inside her mood became much more lively again.

With a small bang he ripped of the top with his bare hands, revealing more than a dozen of smaller boxes inside.

"That should be enough to sustain us until the end." As Merency opened one of the boxes her face nearly shining.

As she but the box back she started jumping around in happiness. "Yuhu I don’t have to eat any disgusting rations." As she jumped on Steven back.

"Have you heard me no disgusting food for us!" But Steven put her softly down, "yes youre right, but how are we going to transport them?"

The question hung in the air as she just stared at his face confused. "You’re a bright aren’t you?"

"Of course I am, what are you talking about?" He answered cautious of her sudden question.

But she just pointed towards the big box , "Prove it then." As a big smile formed on her lips.

He didn’t expect that or had an any answer as he could barely speak, "No No No."

But it didn’t matter just a few moments later he was carrying the whole box on his back like some kind of donkey.

As he gritted his teeth in frustration, why was he even listening to her, he had done all the had work already.

And climbing the cliff was only more of a pain when you carried something that felt like a dozen of people on your back.

But Merencys only continued to smile at him speaking motivating words during the whole way up.

The last time he had been worried about climbing because of his missing mana sense and headaches but with the return of his sense he felt more save than ever.

Finally reaching their platform he felt a sense of relief he long hadn’t as he placed the box far in the end completely out of sight for everyone at the bottom.

"So what do we do now?" He asked while leaning against one of walls

"Isn’t that obvious we eat!" As she pulled out a small device and placed it on the ground.

Steven stared at it as it suddenly ignited on its own, she had most likely stolen it from the box when he wasn’t looking.

Sitting down tried to figure out how it worked Merency had already made her way to the box and back with only a single dish in her hand.

As she placed it on the flame waiting for it to finish, Steven wanted to go and grab one for himself too but she stopped him.

"We have to safe food if the event goes longer than expected."

Steven stared at her as her pulled out two forks from her pockets.

"Come on it will only go cold." As she handed him one.

Steven didn’t think he could survive even a day longer with her.
