Chapter 1065: Brully Revival (Part 2)

Chapter 1065: Brully Revival (Part 2)

In a building made out of Billakin, which stretched like a long tube resembling the small intestine to coil into the air, grunting sounds reverberated outward.

The tube spanned a radius of 150 metres, and strapped to the wall at equidistant intervals were Brully adults. They were fully bound using straps made out of Billakin, wedged in their bodies at specific spots that prevented them from gathering strength through their bodies.

The hands of them all were made out of Vachra, which generated such a powerful influence that they had all gone mad.

Floating in the air before one of the Brully was a golden humanoid. He observed the respective Brully and touched the hands, “Good, it’s done.”

He cut off the hands and secured them within a Rutham container, with a circuit inside emulating the effects of Inhibition Dome. This way, even if the Brully gained momentary clarity, it wouldn’t be able to control the severed hands as a Spirit Weapon and wreak havoc.

Such things had happened long in the past. After the measures taken by the golden humanoids had improved, no accident had happened for thousands of years now.

After the hands were severed, a new pair was beginning to grow, but was slow, as producing Vachra wasn’t easy. It seemed to be extracting everything of value from the Brully in order to form.

The golden humanoid took out a container filled with crushed pulp of Parute Fruits. Making an incision on the Brully’s jaw, he poured the pulp down its throat. The amount was calculated, enough for the time being.

Similar amounts will be given at regular intervals to ensure the Brully only retained enough Prana in its body to regenerate the Vachra arm.

Carrying the two severed arms, the golden humanoid flew through the tube and arrived at the end, which was shaped like the stomach. There was a refining factory here, with tools made out of Billakin.

These tools were being controlled by a group of golden humanoids, whose only task was to grind the Vachra arms into pure, powdered form of Vachra, without any influence from the Brully that had produced it.

The refining process took months before the Vachra was ready to be built into Halmahera’s circuit. There was an entire production line to handle that task.

Grrrr!

Close to the stomach section, nailed into the wall was a Brully that hadn’t gone insane yet. It too had Vachra arms, but barely managed to retain its sanity for a few minutes daily. Even that was impressive, for no Brully managed to do such a thing.

After a few minutes, it lost its sanity and remained bound, without any struggles. Accompanied by the golden humanoids number one and two, Inala arrived before it, “Is this the one?”

“This is pretty much the only Brully with a mind powerful enough to endure the influence from Vachra.” Said the golden humanoid number two. “What do you think? Will this work?”

“Yeah,” Inala nodded, “If its mind is powerful enough to withstand the effects of even Vachra, then I can fully experiment on it without fear of shattering its Spirit Container.”

“Great!” The golden humanoid number one nodded and gathered a few Minor Treasures of Kinesis Deity to communicate. “Make arrangements to transport this one to the new building we’re preparing for Leukeu.”

Inala subtly eyed the forehead of one of them, inhaling a mildly sharp breath, ’211…’

Upon seeing it, he thought of something and asked the golden humanoid number one, “Why haven’t you created a Rirenal Minor Treasure? Boul Brimgan created a method to swap out the Rutham in a minor Treasure with Rirenal. I’m pretty sure he recorded it in the Brimgan Library.”

“Yes, he recorded it there.” The golden humanoid number one nodded, “And I am aware of his technique. It’s truly ingenious, as expected from the greatest child born in the Brimgan Royalty.”

“Then?” Inala frowned, “Why haven’t you made one yet?”

“We are already pushing the limits of creativity.” The golden humanoid number one chuckled, “Minor Treasures are formed from living beings. Here, we’re artificially manufacturing them using Information Slips containing the Brimgan Founder’s data.”

“We have a team researching Rirenal, but there hasn’t been a breakthrough yet. Besides,” The golden humanoid number one shrugged, “If we had any excess Sumatra Gold, it’s better we stockpile it for a Brimgan Royal talented enough to harness.”

’Currently, there’s already enough Rirenal at the Brimgan Empire to last us forever. What we lack currently are people powerful enough to handle it.’ He thought, but didn’t voice out, for that was the Brimgan Empire’s secret.

Rutham, Rirenal, Ruthrey, and Ruthusk; the Brimgan Empire’s top strength had access to these four minerals. Three of them were top of the Gold Grade, and Rirenal was in a class of its own even at the Mystic Grade.

Its power was simple but overwhelming, for a Spirit Weapon range of 180 kilometres was inconceivable to even Mystic Grade existences.

Even the Royal Zinger’s full-powered projectiles could travel for at most 400 kilometres. At its peak, the distance could even reach 500 kilometres. But that was already stretching the limit too much. And this was from an existence whose power was primarily concentrated in its arms.

In Boul Brimgan’s case, he had a Spirit Weapon range of 180 kilometres. In this range, he was an absolute existence.

’We are currently prioritising the creation of Minor Treasures using Ruthrey and Ruthusk.’ The golden humanoid thought.

Minor Treasure—Grey Kinesis Deity!

Minor Treasure—Kinesis Lantern Deity!

The moment Ruvva created these minerals and stored them in the Brimgan Empire’s mineral vault, one of the golden humanoids used their secret channel to steal a Brully arm’s worth of each.

After that, using their Brully farm, they were making more of the respective mineral. The stolen amount was shortly returned to the vault. Thanks to it, the Brimgan Royals weren’t aware of the existence of Halmahera.

Living in the Brimgan Empire were families, whose role was in servitude to Halmahera. In these families, following tradition, certain minerals, only enough for one Free Human to build a Human avatar out of, to reach the peak of the Body stage, were passed down from one generation to the next.

These families had the belief that as long as one family member had such a Human Avatar, their family would continue to exist long into the future. Recorded in their family history, that whenever their family came close to ruin, they mysteriously survived and continued their legacy.

What they didn’t know was that the golden humanoids came to their rescue. However, these families knew that they survived somehow, and had passed down such records. Every time they survived ruin, their beliefs became strong.

And that’s how, without their knowledge, these people served as eyes and ears of Halmahera. Halmahera alone wasn’t using such tactics.

The Brimgan Empire had such tactics too. Each such tactic was conceived by a genius Brimgan Emperor. And the chosen family was given the honour of keeping the tradition to ensure the survival of the tactic.

A record didn’t exist in the Brimgan Library, or even in the Halmahera Library. But, living in extreme hiding in the Brimgan Empire was a well-off family, carrying one of the most treacherous of such tactics.

They had a tactic from the Death Knell Invasion. Only the hidden Elder and Family Head of their family were aware of it, passing down the knowledge and the respective Human Avatar down the generations.

Over the course of the Brimgan Empire’s history, some tactics had been revealed, such as during the times when Mystic Empyrean Tentacles invaded the Empire.

This was why Brangara had been extremely careful while infiltrating the Brimgan Empire, because he knew for a fact that with how much strength he had at that point, these hidden families would definitely use all their tactics.

The most dangerous of them all was the tactic conceived during the Death Knell Invasion. He had an inkling that such a tactic existed.

Currently, there was a team of golden humanoids in Halmahera busy researching to create a Minor Treasure of Ruthrey and Ruthusk and were close to success. Once they succeed, they will take the aid of Prana Circuit and create a new tactic of the two Minor Treasures.

’This will further reinforce the stability and continued dominance of the Brimgan Empire.’ The golden humanoid number one thought.

As the two golden humanoids accompanied Inala, the latter’s line of thought was similar to them, wrought by curiosity, ’It is only by chance that I discovered this place. I thought they will be curious about me and revealed myself. However,’

The Panger, Loya was the one who discovered clues at the Mrutch Sea. Considering how deeply the world of Halmahera had hidden itself from the rest of Sumatra, Loya didn’t discover it by chance. ’Instead, they wanted her to see the clues.’

’It seems they are interested in the Panger Race’s strength.’ Inala thought in interest as he subtly glanced at his arms, ’Maybe Shield of Thorns is compatible with Prana Circuit. Or there’s something else at play here that I’m unaware.’

’It was a leap of logic, but I’m glad I’ve been brought here.’ Inala became excited, ’By the time I leave here, I won’t just have a Tertiary Nature.’

He was confident, ’I’ll be leaving with a State of Unity!’
