I Write Novels in a Zerg Prison
Chapter 268: Female Disguised as Male x Despairing Straight Female (End): 'My turn.' Lucas carried an air of fearless self-sacrifice.
[Are you kidding me? A whole group of Zergs couldn't outdrink one Zerg? How useless!]
[Just tell me whether you got him drunk or not!]
[Wait, no, something's wrong here! Lucas can still walk and talk, but his memories are already scrambled. He still thinks Lord Felix is a Female Zerg!]
[You can really see how deeply Felix, back when he was presenting as a Female Zerg, imprinted himself on Lucas's memory. A Female Zerg's first stirrings of love were given to Felix, who was also a "Female Zerg." His secret love was for him, the predictably difficult future was because of him, despair was him, pain was him, happiness was him, and the one he could never let go of was also him.]
[(Stunned) (checks notes) (looks away)]
[The problem is, Lucas is now thinking about satisfying His Lordship the way he'd treat a Female Zerg partner. His Lordship is in danger!]
[Holy shit! Lucas, what the hell are you thinking?! Stop those dangerous thoughts right now!]
[Is anyone at the wedding banquet still conscious? Hurry up and save him!]
[It's hopeless. Those guys are all passed out drunk (blank stare).]
[He gets drunk once and forgets His Lordship's sex—what kind of bizarre condition is this?! Lucas, don't touch alcohol again for the rest of your life!]
...
[In the room, Lucas pondered how a Female Zerg and another Female Zerg were supposed to do it.
Wouldn't they need Male Zerg pheromones?
But for some reason, Lucas didn't want another Male Zerg's pheromones appearing between him and his partner.
Looking up, he saw Felix beside him seemingly about to take something out of his spatial button.
Lucas stopped him. "No pheromones."
"?" Felix looked at him in surprise, confusion in his eyes.
Drunk Lucas wore a solemn expression and was unexpectedly resolute.
"No Male Zerg pheromones. Just do it directly."
It was a risky decision, but Lucas trusted himself to keep his own pheromones under control.
As for Felix... He had already remembered his partner's name. His name was Felix, a beautiful name, just like the Zerg himself. Lucas was willing to endure the impact of his pheromones. Even if it hurt, he was willing.
The "Female Zerg" in front of him seemed to consider something, but ultimately agreed to his request.
After that, however, it was Lucas's turn for his mind to go blank.
So... how were they supposed to do this again?
He looked at his beautiful lover before him. Not wanting to reveal his inexperience, he rummaged through his sluggish mind for memories and knowledge.
Felix approached first, gently pressing a kiss to the corner of his lips.
Lucas abruptly shuddered, his eyes widening.
From nothing more than this simple contact, he understood why he would brave society's opposition to choose a Female Zerg.
His heart pounded violently in his chest, burning with boiling heat. Even though his memories were unclear, love had already taken root in his body, impossible to ignore and impossible to evade.
He loved him.
Relying entirely on instinct, Lucas clumsily returned the kiss.
Right now, he was willing to do anything for his partner, even if that meant acting as the Male Zerg for him.
But in the end, Lucas was still the first one to sink into the pillows.
He was terribly drunk, his memories muddled, lacking far too much knowledge and experience, so he could only let his partner guide him.
Halfway through, he stared in astonishment at his stomach, which looked as though it had somehow gained another abdominal muscle. Feeling it through the skin of his belly, he still found it hard to believe that a Female Zerg could be this formidable, this extraordinarily gifted.
Even the strongest Male Zerg would pale in comparison. Maybe Female Zergs really did possess some unique talent in this regard?
Lucas thought hazily, uncertain whether he himself could manage.
Without Male Zerg pheromones, Lucas could only smell an extremely subtle aroma of wine, faint yet exceptionally pleasant.
At first, he thought he'd simply drunk too much and gotten the scent of alcohol on himself. Later, following the fragrance until he found it on Felix, he realized that Felix was its source.
Lucas blankly wondered for a second what kind of alcohol Felix had drunk for it to smell this good.
Only afterward did he belatedly realize that it seemed to be Felix's pheromones.
Felix had suppressed his pheromones extremely well. Lucas could barely catch the slightest trace, yet he found himself irresistibly drawn to follow it, unable to stop himself from wanting to smell more.
For a moment, Lucas couldn't tell whether Felix's pheromones naturally smelled that good, or whether falling in love with someone could change one's preferences, overcome instinct, and even make him stop rejecting a same-sex Zerg's pheromones and instead find the scent irresistibly attractive.
He almost wanted Felix to release a little more of his pheromones instead of suppressing them.
But as a Female Zerg, making such a request of his same-sex partner felt strange, so Lucas could only swallow the words and work even harder at taking Felix.
Felix had Lucas utterly intoxicated, scrambling his mind into mush—and his belly along with it.
Lucas had never imagined that being with a Female Zerg could feel this good. He desperately clung to Felix, refusing to let go.
Felix, meanwhile, felt as though he had discovered an entirely new world. Doing it without pheromones was unexpectedly fascinating too.
Lucas seemed terribly drunk yet strangely lucid at the same time. He embraced Felix through love and reason rather than under the influence of pheromones.
Felix liked that feeling.
Suppressing his pheromones to this extent wasn't easy, especially while he was in front of Lucas and inside him, but fortunately, Felix had been naturally gifted at it from birth.
The Phoenix Bird family's unique genes, combined with Felix's extreme mastery over pheromones, even allowed him to separate his pheromones from his bodily fluids.
But after squeezing into the narrow chamber, Felix ultimately couldn't hold back and gave all his pheromones to Lucas.
Lucas was hit hard by the impact.
The sudden Male Zerg pheromones threw him into complete panic and shattered his defenses, but even more than that, what truly made him lose control was his own belly—was Felix.
Felix held Lucas and comforted him, waiting for him to settle down. Only when light gradually gathered in those eyes again did it turn once more into confusion.
"Lucas?" Felix called his name, wanting to know how he was doing.
Lucas covered his belly with both hands, his gaze falling on Felix, unable to understand why he'd still used Male Zerg pheromones.
He hadn't even seen how Felix had done it. He didn't know where Felix had taken the pheromone tube from, how he'd opened it, or where he'd put it.
Feeling the warm heat inside his abdomen, Lucas somewhat understood his reasoning again. He had done it to lessen the impact of Female Zerg pheromones on Lucas.
Lucas reluctantly accepted that explanation, but he was still a little unhappy.
He couldn't even explain exactly what he was unhappy about. Such thoughts were far too melodramatic for same-sex lovers, and he couldn't bring himself to show them.
Faced with his dazzlingly radiant lover, Lucas's heart softened immensely once again, overflowing with love and the desire to take care of him.
Feeling some strength return to his body, he wrapped an arm around Felix and made him lie down. Then he turned over and got up himself.
"My turn."
Felix: "?"
Lucas looked both solemn and eager, while somehow carrying an odd air of fearless self-sacrifice.
Felix inexplicably had a bad feeling.
He watched Lucas's gaze fall upon him, examining and observing him carefully, as though confronting a problem that absolutely had to be solved. Lucas rigorously reached a hand toward him.
Felix immediately raised his own hand, interlocking their fingers and clasping Lucas's hand tightly.
It was entirely an instinctive reaction, and Felix nearly broke out in a cold sweat. Although he still wasn't sure what Lucas intended, a Male Zerg's perception of danger was exceptionally keen.
Once again, he remembered the three things a Male Zerg had to protect throughout his entire life.
It was hard to imagine something like this could fall upon him again.
Given how Lucas became completely muddled whenever he got drunk, surely Felix wouldn't actually have to remain vigilant and protect himself from this for the rest of his life, would he?
Felix was profoundly shocked and subconsciously tightened his grip on Lucas's hand.
Absolutely could not let go.
Lucas lowered his eyes toward their interlocked fingers and froze for a moment, his face slowly turning red.
He didn't want to show weakness in front of his partner. He wanted to give him the best experience, to give him trust and someone he could rely upon, but at the same time, Lucas himself also trusted Felix.
Feeling the strength transmitted through the hand holding his own, a reassuring strength, Lucas was willing to entrust himself to him, admit his shortcomings, and ask him for help.
"I... don't really know how to do this." Lucas's face reddened slightly. Feeling embarrassed, he looked to Felix for help, trusting that Felix wouldn't laugh at him and would be able to teach him.
Felix thought, If you actually knew how to do this, we'd have a serious problem.
But his expression remained unchanged. He looked utterly calm, as though everything was under control, making him extremely reassuring.
"Don't worry. Leave everything to me. I'll teach you what to do."
Felix spoke gently, guiding Lucas's hand and leading him along. His voice grew increasingly tender as he said, "Come on, get on."
Lucas obediently followed his instructions. Only after settling into an extraordinarily difficult position that made one's toes curl did he realize something was wrong.
"Wait, that's not—" Lucas finally reacted, wanting to explain that this wasn't what he'd meant to do. He'd wanted to service Felix, so how had he ended up sitting on him again?
Wasn't he being far too greedy?
Before he could finish explaining, Felix grabbed him by the waist.
After that, Lucas no longer had any say in what happened.
Lucas struggled through an entire night of jolting and repeated tossing around, yet ultimately never managed to fulfill his wish of servicing his partner.
When he finally fell asleep, he still felt that he'd failed to take proper care of Felix and was deeply remorseful.
Felix woke beneath the warm sunlight shining over the blankets and lazily rolled over, only to see Lucas already sitting upright, head lowered and supported in one hand, the pressure around him extremely low.
Felix immediately reflected on everything he'd done last night and realized that he'd tricked Lucas. Although he'd had no other choice, what if Lucas was angry?
Felix quietly poked his head over to inspect Lucas's expression.
Lucas also noticed that he was awake. He lowered his hand, composed his expression and chaotic thoughts, then looked toward the Male Zerg... No, he should call him his Male Lord now.
Remembering everything he'd done last night, his heart sank even further, and he immediately apologized.
"I'm sorry, Male Lord. I..."
He had actually mistaken his Male Lord, whom he'd already married, for a Female Zerg and even entertained the idea of taking care of his Male Lord the way same-sex lovers would.
He truly deserved death for that.
Seeing that Lucas was actually apologizing rather than holding him accountable, Felix realized he'd gotten away with it.
But he didn't want to see Lucas blaming himself either.
Before Lucas could finish, Felix placed his hand over the back of Lucas's and patted it.
"It's fine, it's fine. Nothing happened anyway. You could even say it was a perfectly wonderful wedding night. Drunk Lucas was really cute too."
Felix hurriedly added another sentence in his heart: He absolutely could never let Lucas get drunk again. He'd have to keep a close eye on him.
Lucas stared blankly at Felix, thinking.
Felix didn't mind that he'd crossed the line and even thought he was cute when drunk, so perhaps...
Lucas hurriedly shook his head, rejecting the thought.
He still couldn't drink again.
If something like this happened another time, he genuinely wouldn't have the face to meet Felix.
Felix leaned closer again, wrapped his arms around Lucas, buried himself against his chest and took a deep breath. Then he raised his head, eyes sparkling as he looked at Lucas.
"You just called me 'Male Lord.' Say it again."
Lucas lowered his eyes toward him and obediently said, "Male Lord."
Felix happily pounced on him and planted a loud kiss on his lips.
Then they tumbled together again, laughing and fooling around.
Their married life had only just begun.
