I Transmigrated as a Peasant, but My System Wanna Make Me a Duke!
Chapter 132: Silencing
Chapter 132: Chapter 132: Silencing
Just as he’d suspected, this woman couldn’t be trusted!
Casli had no time to dwell on it. He instinctively tried to retreat.
But Yavira was right behind him, her own poisoned dagger appearing from nowhere as she lunged at Casli.
In such a narrow space, facing a pincer attack, Casli simply couldn’t dodge in time.
"Get away!"
Casli kicked away the figure attacking him from the front, but Yavira, who was behind him, solidly plunged her dagger into his body.
"You..."
Casli endured the pain, turned, and knocked Yavira away.
He desperately tried to flee the secret room, but he suddenly felt his body start to go numb.
"You can’t escape, Casli. I went to great trouble to lure you here, away from the core members of the Green Tree Navigation Team. I won’t let you leave alive."
Yavira coughed lightly. Casli’s last blow had indeed injured her.
"This substance isn’t actually a poison, in essence, but a paralytic. A paralytic that has a significant effect even on Middle Knights."
Yavira explained unhurriedly, "I paid a great price to get my hands on this. Thankfully, it served its purpose. It was worth more than I paid for it."
"You vicious woman!"
Casli could already feel his body losing sensation. He began to lose the strength to stand, and leaning against the wall, he slowly slid to the ground.
He looked at Yavira in terror, gritting his teeth as he said, "Aren’t you afraid that after you kill me, my men will retaliate?"
"Are you that confident in your men’s loyalty?"
Yavira suddenly let out a derisive laugh.
"Could it be..."
Casli’s expression turned ferocious.
"Dabbit, yes... that’s him. He’s my man. With him there, the members of your Green Tree Pirate Gang will be easily controlled."
Yavira let out a soft laugh. "Didn’t see that coming, did you?"
"Dabbit! Impossible... This is impossible!"
Casli was hysterical, but his voice was already noticeably weakening. "He’s my most trusted subordinate! How could he betray me?"
"Loyalty just means the price of betrayal wasn’t high enough. It’s always been this way."
Yavira walked step by step toward Casli. She crouched down and placed the dagger against his neck. "Thank you for helping me wipe out Blue Whale Town."
"No... don’t kill me! Don’t kill me!"
Casli could feel death approaching. "I’m willing to surrender all power in the Green Shell Navigation Team! I’m willing to be your servant, your slave! Please, just let me live!"
Faced with the fear of death, Casli finally lost his earlier calm and collected demeanor.
His face was filled with pleading; his dignity had long been trampled into the dirt.
"Just think, once you become the leader of the Green Shell Navigation Team and expand into the waters of the Sosen Duchy, with my help, you could surely become the leader of a navigation team of three thousand—no, five thousand men! What a great achievement that would be!"
Casli was trying to persuade Yavira using the same seductive words she had used on him.
But it was no use.
Yavira’s smile was incredibly enchanting. "I never had any backing in the Sosen Duchy. Everything I said was a lie. I just wanted to use this opportunity to take over your Green Tree Navigation Team!"
"You..."
Casli had never imagined this woman could be so insane. "Then why did you have to destroy Blue Whale Town? That’s a declaration of war on Count Lumbar."
"That’s right! I want to declare war! I will use the lives of everyone in the Green Tree Navigation Team and the Shell Navigation Team to stain Lumbar’s honor for the rest of his life!"
A crazed smile suddenly appeared on Yavira’s face. "This is the price he must pay!"
A chill ran down Casli’s spine. He had never imagined this woman’s desire for revenge could be so intense.
"Alright, it’s time to send you on your way."
Without hesitation, Yavira slashed with the dagger.
"No!"
Blood splattered against the wall. Casli, the great Pirate Leader, met his end in the secret room.
Yavira let out a long breath. The moment she killed Casli, she suddenly felt a wave of exhaustion wash over her.
"Lady Yavira."
The attacker from before walked to Yavira’s side and steadied her.
Yavira waved her hand, signaling that she was fine.
"Where’s Dabbit? Why isn’t he here yet?"
Yavira frowned. According to their arrangement, Dabbit should have been here by now to clean up the mess.
"Perhaps he was delayed. I’ll go out and see."
After saying this to Yavira, the attacker walked toward the exit of the secret room.
The little pirate leader, who had been trembling earlier, also followed him out. Having witnessed the clash between these major figures, he was terrified.
Yavira rubbed her temples, trying to relieve her tension.
But in the next moment, she suddenly heard the screams of the attacker and the little pirate leader.
Yavira shot her head up and saw a young man in fisherman’s clothes, holding a rusty iron sword, walk in.
"Who are you?"
Yavira was startled.
’How did this young man I’ve never seen before get so close?’
Vili’s expression was blank; he said nothing.
Just now, outside the secret room, he had heard the entire conversation between Yavira and Casli.
From their conversation, he learned something that shocked him.
Blue Whale Town had been destroyed by the Green Shell Pirate Gang!
Although he had no family in Blue Whale Town, the Guards from Diamond Town and his own confidant, Dane, were there. Their fate was now unknown.
"Lady Yavira."
Vili took a step forward.
Yavira instinctively stepped back. She raised her dagger, staring at Vili with a wary expression.
’The fact that this young man could walk in here unscathed is a testament to his terrifying strength.’
"Who are you? Why are you here?"
Yavira cautiously readied her defenses.
Vili sneered. "Me? My name is Vili Ferren. I’m from Diamond Town, and I was also part of Blue Whale Town’s coastal defense reinforcements."
"It’s you!"
Yavira’s pupils shrank.
She had learned about Vili—a genius who had risen out of nowhere—while investigating Blue Whale Town’s defensive forces.
But at the time, Vili had only displayed the strength of a Junior Knight, so she hadn’t paid him any mind.
And yet, here he was, standing before her now... 𝑓𝑟ℯℴ𝓂
’Yavira knew very well that the Vili before her was no Junior Knight. The pressure he exudes is even stronger than Casli’s.’
’Those scouts were all useless!’
Just as Yavira was thinking about how to escape, she saw Vili make his move in an instant.
"Your head will be an offering to the lost souls of Blue Whale Town!"
Vili erupted, unleashing his Fighting Spirit Power and Power of Justice at the same time!
