I Summon Female Knights
Chapter 57: Anchoring the Secret Gate
The echoes of the Warmaster’s heavy, armored footsteps faded into the cavernous depths of the subterranean vault, leaving a heavy, pristine silence in their wake.
Raphael stood alone near the center of the royal chamber, surrounded by piles of unrefined void-crystals, ancient scroll cases, and stacks of high-tier alloys. His hands rested easily on the dark leather grips of his dual adamantine blades, his imposing six-foot-seven frame casting a long, sharp shadow against the polished black marble floor.
He looked down at his gauntleted palms, flexing his fingers slowly as he felt the cold, magnetic hum of the obsidian runes embedded in the leather.
A sudden, strange dissonance rippled through his mind.
For a fleeting second, the terrifying, absolute weight of his Sovereign’s Veil flickered. The cold, unyielding mindset of a realm-conqueror parted slightly, allowing a ghost of his past self to surface- the memory of an immature, dumb young man living in an apartment offered by the Bureau, terrified of the Bureau’s relentless shadow, and wondering if he would survive another day on Earth’s harsh fringes.
Back then, every shadow had felt like a threat, and every authority figure had seemed like an immovable mountain. Now, he stood inside his own private, spatial fortress, having executed an ancient tyrant and forced a legendary C-tier Warmaster to bow at his feet.
The shift had been so drastic, so violently fast, that it almost felt surreal.
Raphael closed his eyes, taking a slow, deep breath of the cool, mana-saturated air. He ran a hand through his dark, messy bangs, let out a low, quiet chuckle, and shook his head softly.
"Change is inevitable," Raphael muttered to himself, his deep baritone carrying a rare, subtle touch of human amusement. He opened his eyes, their luminous silver depth snapping back into sharp, icy focus. "I like this better."
Vanessa stepped up beside him, her dark silk robes sweeping noiselessly over the stone. She did not pry into his quiet moment, but her cold violet eyes held a quiet, watchful attentiveness.
"The vault contains substantial wealth, Lord Raphael," Vanessa noted softly, gesturing toward the organized chests of raw void-dross and high-grade minerals. "However, raw materials inside an isolated realm carry no weight in the world below unless a conduit exists. To influence the human realm, we require access."
As if responding to her words and Raphael’s internal intent, a sharp, resonant chime echoed directly inside his mind. The System interface expanded before his vision, casting a warm, silvery-violet glow over the ancient stone walls.
[DOMAIN MANAGEMENT PROTOCOL ACTIVATED]
[Notice: Sovereign authority verified]
[Core Integration: 100%]
[Available Action: Establish Spatial Waypoint Gate (Realm Anchor)]
- Description: Forges a permanent, hidden two-way dimensional portal linking The Iron Spire of the Sky-Shattered Vault to a designated physical coordinate on Earth.
- Requirement: Consumes 500 Units of Unrefined Void-Dross & Dungeon Core Energy.
- Construction Time: 24 Hours (1 Full Solar Cycle).

Raphael scanned the floating text, his eyes narrowing slightly as he reached the final line.
"A full day," Raphael said, his voice steady. "It’s not instantaneous."
[SYSTEM NOTICE]
- The creation of a permanent, undetectable spatial bridge requires deep reality-weaving to bypass Earth’s global mana-detection grids and Bureau radar arrays. Rapid construction risks generating a spatial pulse that would alert local authorities.
- Estimated Completion Time: 24 Hours

"A wise precaution," Vanessa remarked, looking at the floating interface beside him. "If the portal were forced open in seconds, the resulting spatial tear would light up the Bureau’s spectral arrays in Jiston like a beacon. A gradual, suppressed anchor ensures complete stealth."
Raphael nodded slowly.
"Stealth is what we need. Vale and Elena think this dungeon collapsed and vanished into nothingness. If we anchor a gate back to Jiston, I want it buried so deep in the dark that even their military-grade scanners won’t pick up a whisper."
He raised his right hand, making a firm swiping gesture to confirm the prompt.
"System," Raphael commanded, his deep baritone ringing with absolute clarity. "Initiate the construction of the Spatial Waypoint Gate. The location should be the subterranean drainage vaults below the abandoned industrial zone in Sector 9, Jiston."
[WAYPOINT GATE CONSTRUCTION COMMENCED!]
- Target Anchor: Sector 9, Jiston (Subterranean Industrial Zone)
- Status: Weaving Spatial Threads... [0.1%]
- Time Remaining: 23 Hours, 59 Minutes, 59 Seconds
- Security Protocol: Active Cloaking (Zero Mana Leakage)

THUM!
Deep within the bedrock beneath the citadel’s primary throne room, a low, powerful vibration hummed through the stone. A fine, glittering mist of golden and silvery-violet light erupted from the Dungeon Core above, shooting down through the floorboards and embedding itself into the floor of the vault.
A circular stone archway, eight feet wide and ten feet high, began to slowly assemble itself against the far wall of the vault. Intricate, microscopic spatial runes began to carve themselves into the dark adamantine stone, one glowing line at a time, humming with a quiet, rhythmic energy that felt like a slow, steady heartbeat.
Raphael walked over to the forming archway, resting his gauntleted hand against the cool, uncarved stone frame. He could feel the microscopic threads of spatial mana reaching out through the void, stretching across the dimensional boundary to silently anchor themselves beneath the rain-slicked streets of Jiston.
In twenty-four hours, he would no longer be a trapped asset on the run. He would be a Sovereign with a hidden doorway into the heart of the city, able to step onto Earth at will, gather intelligence, trade high-tier dross on the black market, and disappear back into his unassailable realm before anyone even realized he was there.
Raphael turned back to face the grand expanse of the vault.
"Vanessa," he spoke, his silver eyes flashing in the dim light.
"I am here, my Lord," she replied, bowing her head respectfully.
"While the gate constructs itself over the next twenty-four hours, we prepare," Raphael said, his voice cold, calculated, and sharp. "Organize the lower vault. Have the Warmaster inspect the upper ramparts and drill the Shadow-Guard sentinels. When that door opens tomorrow, we won’t just be visiting the human world..."
He resheathed his dual adamantine blades with a crisp, echoing metallic snap.
"...we will be expanding our reach."
