Chapter 665: Chapter 665 Broke the Bottleneck, Broke the Floorboards, Broke My Pants

Besides, Lin Feng did not need anyone to accompany him. Lin Feng was perfectly capable of walking by himself.

There was something refreshing about simply coming to class alone, greeting his students, and teaching them without an elaborate entourage. The students, meanwhile, did not dare complain.

If anything, many of them secretly admired him even more because of it.

Despite possessing unimaginable status, Lin Feng did not behave like some unreachable ruler who required dozens of people to serve him wherever he went.

He simply walked to his teaching field like an ordinary teacher. Of course, nobody who understood his true identity would actually mistake him for an ordinary teacher.

Lin Feng stopped at the center of the enormous field and looked across the sea of students. Fifty thousand faces looked back at him. For a moment, even Lin Feng felt a little emotional.

When he had first begun teaching, he had never imagined that his class would eventually grow to such a ridiculous size. Yet here they were. More than fifty thousand students.

And every one of them had come because they wanted to learn from him.

I’ve come so far, Lin Feng mused, a faint smile touching his lips. It felt as though it were only yesterday that he was searching for his very first disciple, standing alone in an empty classroom.

"Since everyone is here," he said calmly, "let us begin today’s lesson."

"To seek the Grand Dao is a long and arduous road, one filled with pain, hardship, temptation, and countless trials. If you are too eager to advance and neglect the foundation beneath your feet, then everything you have built up until now may eventually crumble.

"Do not be impatient.

"Do not be obsessed with speed.

"Even if your progress appears slow, as long as every step you take is firm and steady, you will eventually walk farther than those who rushed ahead without a proper foundation.

"If you ever remember only one of my teachings, then remember this." Lin Feng’s calm voice echoed across the enormous field. More than fifty thousand students heard every single word.

There was no deliberate display of power behind his voice. He did not release his aura, nor did he use any grand technique to force his teachings into their minds.

Yet his words seemed to possess a strange weight. They entered the ears of the students and then, almost naturally, sank into their hearts. For a moment, the entire field became strangely quiet.

Then something began to change. Some students lowered their heads. Others closed their eyes. A few remained completely motionless, as though they had suddenly forgotten where they were.

The words Lin Feng had spoken continued to reverberate within their minds. To seek the Grand Dao was a long road. A long road. Not a race.

Not a competition where the person who advanced the fastest would necessarily be the one who reached the end. A cultivator’s foundation was everything.

The realization struck some of the students like lightning. Their understanding suddenly deepened.

One student who had been struggling with a bottleneck for several years suddenly felt the shackles around his cultivation loosen.

Another student remembered the mistakes he had made in his pursuit of rapid advancement and finally understood why his cultivation had become unstable.

Someone else suddenly comprehended a principle that he had been studying for decades. Then another. And another. A strange atmosphere began spreading across the field.

One student entered sudden enlightenment. Then ten. Then a hundred. Soon, thousands of students were sitting motionlessly as profound insights descended upon them.

Some had tears flowing from the corners of their eyes. Some smiled. Some trembled with excitement.

Others simply sat there with blank expressions as their minds desperately processed the enlightenment they had received. For many of them, this was a miracle.

An opportunity that they might never encounter again in their entire lives. Lin Feng’s simple words had opened a door that they had been struggling to find for years.

Of course, Lin Feng was not deliberately giving everyone enlightenment. He had merely spoken what he genuinely believed.

Those who possessed sufficient comprehension, sincerity, and a proper state of mind naturally benefited from his words. As for those who did not? Lin Feng had no intention of forcing them.

After all, there were always bad apples in every group.

Because the academy allowed anyone to attend his classes for free, Lin Feng could not possibly examine the character of every single student before allowing them into his classroom.

Some students genuinely wanted to learn. Some wanted to improve themselves. Some admired him and sincerely wished to follow his teachings. But there were also others who had ulterior motives.

Some came simply because they wanted to take advantage of his reputation.

Others believed that attending his class would allow them to obtain treasures, shortcuts, or miraculous opportunities without putting in the necessary effort themselves and were bad people in general.

There were even people who attended merely because everyone else was doing so. Lin Feng did not care. His teachings were there for everyone who has a pure heart.

Whether someone could understand them was their own matter.

And so, while thousands upon thousands of students were experiencing what could only be described as a miraculous opportunity, there were also quite a few people sitting among them with completely different expressions.

One of them was a thirty-year-old cultivator. He sat cross-legged among the crowd, staring around him with increasing confusion. At first, he had assumed nothing was happening.

Then he noticed the people around him becoming completely absorbed in their own realizations. The person sitting to his left had already entered a deep state of meditation.

The student on his right had tears streaming down his face. Several people in front of him had even begun breaking through their bottlenecks. The thirty-year-old cultivator’s expression slowly darkened.

He waited. Nothing happened. He waited a little longer. Still nothing. Finally, he looked around at the sea of students who were apparently receiving enlightenment and could not help clenching his fists.

"What is going on?" His voice was barely audible.
