Chapter 664: Chapter 664 Resisting the Jade Temptation With Great Difficulty
It was Monday once again.
For most people, Monday was the beginning of another tiring week, a day that often came with complaints, exhaustion, and reluctance to leave the comfort of their beds.
For Lin Feng, however, Monday was simply another day. And more importantly, it was another day for teaching.
Lin Feng had never been the type of person to become lazy simply because he possessed enough power to do whatever he wanted.
He could accomplish practically anything in this world with a single thought. He could alter the weather, move mountains, create treasures, heal the dying, and even change the fate of entire civilizations.
He could easily spend his days enjoying a life of luxury without worrying about work ever again. Yet he continued to teach. Teaching had become something close to his heart.
There was a particular satisfaction in watching someone who knew nothing gradually understand something profound because of his guidance.
Seeing his students improve, overcome bottlenecks, discover new possibilities, and eventually surpass their former selves gave Lin Feng a sense of accomplishment that even the creation of treasures could not easily replace.
Therefore, despite having no obligation to teach anyone anymore, Lin Feng continued to do so. That morning, he walked toward the enormous field where his class would be held.
His hands were clasped casually behind his back, and his footsteps were unhurried. His expression was calm, and there was not the slightest trace of anxiety or impatience on his face.
The dean had already prepared a massive classroom for him some time ago.
The building itself was magnificent. It had been constructed specifically because of Lin Feng’s growing reputation, and it was large enough to accommodate thousands of students at once.
Unfortunately, it had quickly become useless. The reason was simple. Lin Feng now had more than fifty thousand students enrolled in his class.
Fifty thousand!
Even the enormous classroom prepared by the academy could not possibly accommodate such a number.
If everyone attempted to squeeze inside, there would barely be enough space for people to breathe, much less properly listen to Lin Feng’s lectures.
As a result, Lin Feng had simply continued teaching outdoors. And strangely enough, the students preferred it.
There was something majestic about listening to the Medicine King lecture beneath the vast heavens.
Instead of being confined by walls, the students could sit across the enormous field, surrounding Lin Feng from every direction while listening to his voice carry effortlessly to every corner.
No matter how far away they sat, they could hear every word as clearly as though Lin Feng were standing right beside them. And naturally, there was another advantage.
It never rained during Lin Feng’s classes. The academy’s students had quickly discovered this strange phenomenon.
Dark clouds might cover the entire academy before his lecture began, only for the skies above the teaching field to suddenly become clear once Lin Feng arrived.
Sometimes, even when heavy rain poured over the surrounding areas, the field where Lin Feng taught remained completely dry. There was naturally no mystery behind it.
Lin Feng could control the weather as easily as someone controlling their own hand. If he wanted sunshine, there would be sunshine. If he wanted clouds, there would be clouds.
If he wanted a gentle breeze to make the students more comfortable during a summer lecture, then a cool breeze would naturally sweep across the field.
The students had long since become accustomed to it. In fact, some had started joking that attending Lin Feng’s class was the safest way to avoid bad weather.
As Lin Feng approached the field, he had barely stepped into view when the atmosphere immediately became lively.
"Mentor Lin Feng!"
"Medicine King Lin Feng, good morning!"
"Teacher!"
"Good morning, Mentor!"
"Greetings, Medicine King!" Voices rang out one after another. Thousands of students immediately noticed him.
Then, as though an invisible wave had passed through the crowd, the students began standing and bowing respectfully. The sight was spectacular.
More than fifty thousand people had gathered for the same teacher. Yet Lin Feng did not appear arrogant despite receiving such an overwhelming display of respect.
He merely nodded calmly in response, his hands still clasped behind his back. His posture was straight, his robes moved gently in the breeze, and his expression remained composed.
He looked exactly like the image of a true master. There was no need for him to deliberately display his cultivation or release his aura. His very presence was enough.
The students knew who stood before them.
This was the Medicine King Lin Feng, a legendary existence whose knowledge of medicine had already reached a level they could barely comprehend.
For many of them, simply being allowed to attend his lectures was already an opportunity they considered worth more than countless treasures.
Lin Feng glanced across the enormous crowd and gave a faint smile.
"Good morning." His voice was not loud. Yet every single student heard it clearly. The thousands of conversations immediately stopped. The entire field became silent.
Everyone’s attention focused on him. Lin Feng had come alone. There was no entourage following behind him, no powerful cultivators accompanying him, and no beautiful maidservants surrounding him.
This was intentional.
Lin Feng now had quite a number of maidservants around him.
Li Zhiyan, Xiao Qingxue, Duan Menglu, and several others were frequently at his side, and each of them was beautiful enough to attract considerable attention wherever they went.
A few of the male disciples couldn’t suppress their crude desires, staring and leering unabashedly at his exquisite maids.
Some struggled to hide their arousal, drooling like base beasts. It was a thoroughly repulsive sight.
Naturally, bringing all of them to his classes at the same time would not necessarily be a wise decision. Lin Feng had no desire to create unnecessary jealousy among them.
Although his women were generally harmonious, they were still women. A little competition for his attention was inevitable, and Lin Feng understood that perfectly well.
Rather than giving them another reason to bicker with one another, he preferred to maintain the harmony that had finally been established within his household.
