Chapter 236: Chapter 236 Your Golden Balls Are Mine Now, Young Master
It was obvious that this great emperor was someone of terrifying power.
The emperor narrowed his eyes suspiciously.
Someone must have been talking behind his back.
Otherwise, why would he suddenly sneeze like this?
“Hmph. Let me see which foolish creature dares to insult me,” he muttered coldly.
The emperor raised a hand and began performing a divination technique.
Strange symbols of light appeared in the air as he attempted to trace the karmic thread of whoever had been speaking about him.
Normally, such a simple divination would reveal the culprit instantly.
However, something strange happened.
The moment the technique began to take shape, an invisible shroud suddenly appeared and blocked his calculation.
The emperor frowned.
“What?”
He attempted the divination again, this time pouring even more power into the spell.
The glowing symbols intensified as he tried to forcefully break through the obstruction.
But just as the divination was about to succeed…
A terrifying divine sense suddenly descended.
It was vast.
Endless.
Overwhelming.
In an instant, that immense presence covered the emperor’s entire body like the shadow of a cosmic giant.
“Oofff…”
The emperor’s expression changed drastically.
Cold sweat instantly formed on his back as a chill ran through his entire body.
His mind screamed danger.
For a brief moment, he truly believed he was about to die.
The terrifying divine sense lingered for a short second before slowly withdrawing, as if its owner had merely glanced at him and then lost interest.
Silence returned to the palace.
The emperor remained frozen in place.
Several breaths passed before he finally dared to move again.
His face was pale.
“That… was close,” he muttered quietly, his voice filled with lingering fear.
He did not dare attempt the divination again.
Whoever had been protected by that terrifying presence was clearly not someone he could afford to provoke.
And in his mind, only a handful of existences could possess such a terrifying divine sense.
The great emperor shivered at the implication of what had just happened.

The group spent a few more hours wandering through the lively Golden Harvest Night Market.
Lanterns swayed gently in the evening breeze while countless stalls stretched across the long streets, each one filled with rare herbs, strange artifacts, spirit fruits, and all kinds of exotic foods.
The bustling crowd never seemed to thin, and the sounds of bargaining, laughter, and excited chatter filled the air.
With Old Man Mo Xuan accompanying them, the group encountered no problems whatsoever.
The old man acted as both their guide and bodyguard at the same time.
Whenever they came across an unfamiliar stall or item, Mo Xuan would patiently explain its origin and purpose.
His knowledge of the market was vast, and many vendors even greeted him respectfully when they saw him passing by.
Eventually the lanterns burned lower, and the crowd began to slowly thin.
By the time nine o’clock came, Lin Feng decided it was time to leave.
“Do you want me to accompany you to Clear Moon City, Young Master Lin Feng?” Mo Xuan asked as they approached the market’s exit.
Although the Golden Harvest Night Market was generally considered a safe place, it was not completely without danger.
There had been several instances of robbery over the years, and in rare cases even murders had occurred in the shadows outside the market.
Once people left the brightly lit streets and returned to the dark roads between cities, anything could happen.
“It’s fine, Senior Mo Xuan. We’ll be alright,” Lin Feng replied calmly.
Mo Xuan studied him for a moment before nodding slowly.
He knew that someone like Lin Feng was far from ordinary, so he did not insist further.
“Well then, I will visit Clear Moon City one of these days,” Mo Xuan said as he cupped his fist respectfully.
In his heart, he regarded Lin Feng as a great benefactor.
The kindness Lin Feng had shown him earlier was something he would never forget.
“Good,” Lin Feng said with a slight nod.
After exchanging their farewells, Lin Feng and the three women made their way toward their carriage waiting outside the market gates.
The driver quickly prepared the horses once he saw them approaching.
Moments later, they climbed inside the carriage.
With a soft crack of the whip, the horses began to move, and the carriage rolled away from the Golden Harvest Night Market, heading toward the distant lights of Clear Moon City under the calm night sky.
When they left the market and began their journey back to Clear Moon City, they were not the only ones traveling along the road.
Hidden in the shadows of nearby trees and alleys were many groups quietly watching the departing carriage.
Several of them had been following Lin Feng’s group ever since they left the Golden Harvest Night Market.
“Should we rob them now?” one man from a nearby group whispered impatiently.
“No,” the leader replied immediately, shaking his head. “I just received information that Lin Feng is very strange. He’s a meridian sealing master and has already defeated someone who was at the Half Step Foundation Establishment realm. We won’t strike unless we are absolutely certain. This is not prey we can afford to swallow. Let’s go,” he said.
The group quickly withdrew into the darkness, abandoning the idea entirely.
They were not the only ones who made that decision.
A number of other lurking groups who had initially planned to ambush the carriage also quietly backed off after hearing similar rumors.
Even several veteran robbers who were notorious in the area chose not to take the risk.
Lin Feng’s recent reputation had begun spreading faster than wildfire, and many people preferred not to gamble their lives on uncertain prey.
However, not everyone was wise enough to retreat.
Eventually one small group decided to try their luck.
“Come on, boss! Let’s do it!” one member urged excitedly. “I need money tonight. I want to visit the Pleasure Pavilion later this week, and I can’t do that without some gold in my pocket.”
The boss of the group hesitated.
There were only four of them, and the rumors about Lin Feng made him uneasy.
Still, greed eventually won.
“…Fine,” he said reluctantly. “We’ll move in five minutes.”
The four men quietly prepared themselves, gripping their weapons as they watched the distant carriage rolling slowly along the dark road.
But just as they were about to make their move, something strange suddenly happened.
The world around them seemed to twist.
The grass beneath their feet stretched upward, the trees around them grew impossibly tall, and even the rocks on the ground swelled into enormous shapes.
Within a few breaths, everything around them had turned into towering giants.
“What… what’s happening, boss?!” one of the men shouted in terror.
His voice echoed strangely in the distorted surroundings.
But alas, no human voice answered him. The night remained eerily silent.
