Chapter 195: Crimson Heaven’s Fall.

Chapter 195: Crimson Heaven’s Fall.

"Itt’ss timee forr thee finall lessonn, Rai Rai~" she said softly. "Watchh closelyy."

Ruby ignored the screaming Raiden, choosing to focus on the enemy in front of her.

"Watch how I will destroy your family right here and now!! And you would not be able to do anything to stop it!!!! Annihilation Drive!!!"

The whole body of the Black Dragon King started to exude dangerous black light, as the whole itself started to disintegrate around him.

Ruby’s Blood Avatar started to evaporate away while containing it, causing the real one to cough out blood in return.

But she didn’t waver, looking straight ahead over the horizon.

"Let the entire world know. From today on, you will be known as the Prince of Blood, with no harm able to fall upon you."

A golden radiance started to spread from her body as she spoke, her voice turning resonant.

"Under The Witness of Heaven And Earth, I, Ruby, The Divine Blood Empress, Pass Eternal Protection To Him. I Sacrifice My Body, This Black Dragon King And A Million Souls, For This Purpose. May The Ashen One Bear Witness To This."

Raiden looked on in horror as the world went silent before Billions of Golden Chains Materialised in the air. These Golden Chains were anchored to everything.

The trees, the plants, the ground, the clouds, the sky itself, every single thing.

Raiden even saw some Golden Chains anchored to himself and every other living thing in the world. It was a very beautiful yet jarring picture, making him question everything he knew about this world.

While everything had the Golden Chains tied to them, some people or things had more than others.

For example, Woolie and Neva had much more Golden Chains binding them than any other living beings around them.

Even Yuna and Isadora had fewer chains binding them than these two Terra Beasts, even though they had much more than he did.

As for the largest number of Golden Chains?? They were undoubtedly tied to the Black Dragon King and Ruby.

There were hundreds of thousands of golden chains binding the Black Dragon King, making him look wretched, but Ruby was on a different scale altogether, as tens of millions of Golden Chains were binding her, almost fifty times more than the Black Dragon King, showing how powerful she was.

All these Golden Chains were completely indistinct from reality, shimmering vividly before the eyes, yet they remained entirely untouchable by any physical matter in the universe.

Raiden waved his hand and watched as it passed through them, the chains shimmering like a mirage.

"Aunt Ruby, please stop! Don’t do this anymore!! I don’t need any divine protection!!!" Raiden cried his heart out, feeling powerless for being unable to do anything.

Ruby didn’t even turn to look at him as she glanced at the chains binding her before looking at the sky.

"Do You Accept These Terms, The Ashen One?" Her voice echoed in all directions, free of the stutters she had while speaking.

"The World Has Acknowledged The Divine Blood Empress’s Plea, And We Accept. Let The Laws of This World Be A Witness For This Agreement."

Millions more Golden Chains started falling from the sky, binding Ruby’s body up as they started to leave searing, burning marks on it.

Every single chain wrapped around her body very, very tightly, like merging itself with her, like it was branding directly on the soul.

"The Oath Is Made. Fulfil Your Agreement, Oh Divine Emperor of Blood."

"You!!! What have you done?!! You dare to make a deal with him?!! Are you so intent on harming me?!! If that’s what you want, I won’t ever let you fulfil your agreement!! You will never have my Soul or me!! AAAAARGH!!!"

The black dragon started to swell in size, as his body started to disintegrate, his destruction spreading further and further with each second.

In the blink of an eye, thousands of kilometres of area disintegrated and vaporised into ash as the wave of destruction moved forward, colliding directly with the Blood Dome Ruby had in place.

BOOOOM!!

SIZZZLE!!

"Thiss iss my finall giftt to youu, Rai Rai~ I hopee... I hope you protectt your sisterr well, a-and... I hope..... I trulyy hope you livee a very happyy... A very happy life.... Remember..... No matter what youu do in lifee, I will always be... Proud of You...."

"No, Aunt Ruby, no!!! Please stop!!!.... I beg you.... Just stop...." Raiden fell on his knees as his heart-wrenching cries echoed in the atmosphere.

"Woolie!!!"

"SHA SHAA!!"

Both Neva and Woolie started crying as well, knocking against the blood dome trying to get to her.

"For the finall lesson... Let me show you... The truee powerss of a Mythicall Terra Beasts..."

"Crimson’s Heavens Fall."

As soon as Ruby uttered her words, the entire world stopped, as if someone pressed a pause button. The next second, Blood started to float up from the ground.

Every tree, every blade of grass, every inch of dust, all the Terra Beasts, the humans, everyone found their blood escaping from their bodies and floating above the ground.

The world watched in stunned silence as every single living being found themselves deprived of their blood as it floated above their heads, combining slowly.

As far as an eye could see, drops of blood started floating above the sky beyond the horizon as an ocean of blood started to form over their heads.

An ocean so vast that one couldn’t even see the end of it.

It rose slowly, impossibly, gathering itself into a single endless mass hovering above the ruined battlefield, thick and dark like something poured straight out of the world’s own veins. Waves rippled across its surface without wind, without cause, moving on their own as if the ocean itself was breathing.

Deep within it, faint golden light pulsed like a heartbeat buried at the bottom of the sea, flickering in rhythm with the countless chains still wrapped around Ruby’s body.

The smell of iron filled the air so thickly that Raiden could taste it on his tongue, bitter and metallic. Every terrified creature on the battlefield, human and beast alike, stared upward at that crimson sky in silence, too stunned even to scream anymore. It did not feel like an attack.

It felt like the law of the world.

Ruby’s golden eyes lifted toward the ocean she had made, and her voice, quiet now, carried across the entire dying world.

"Crimson Heaven’s Fall."
