I Have a Destiny Dice
Chapter 132 - 114: False Semblance
Chapter 132: Chapter 114: False Semblance
’If his intelligence was really that pitiful, Chen Qi figured he might as well just die and save humanity the embarrassment.’
...
’Mission accomplished!’
Without any resistance, Chen Qi’s Consciousness merged into the Little Sun.
As his thoughts shifted, the Sun began to change continuously, offering no resistance whatsoever.
This meant Chen Qi had completely assimilated this portion of Spirituality. All that remained was to send it out of the Spiritual World.
But Chen Qi wasn’t in a hurry. He wanted to take a good look at the Source Ore’s past experiences.
Time didn’t exist in the Spiritual World. It only seemed as though Chen Qi had partitioned and imprisoned a part of the Source Ore’s Spirituality. In truth, it all happened within his perception.
In the real world, it manifested as a sudden, complete fusion between a portion of their respective Spiritualities.
So, if Chen Qi wished, he could extract the Source Ore’s past, frame by frame, and watch it at his leisure.
’It’s incredible. The Source Ore’s creation was triggered by a single bird’s cry.’
Time began to reverse again, and the Spiritual World returned to the moment the Sun was born.
Although it seemed as if the bird’s cry came first, followed by the birth of the Sun.
In reality, the two events were simultaneous. Chen Qi could only trace things back to the birth of the Spirituality, not a moment before.
The only reason they appeared to happen sequentially was due to Chen Qi’s perception.
After all, he was the Creator God and could decide everything.
...
’What kind of being could create a life form with just a single cry?’
’It’s just too unbelievable!’
The Source Ore’s initial Spirituality—its very essence—was a bird’s cry.
As strange as it was, that was the truth.
Unfortunately, Chen Qi had only obtained 30% of the Source Ore’s Spirituality, so he couldn’t perceive the cry in its entirety.
Even so, every time he heard it, it felt wondrous and utterly captivating.
Perhaps the sound was too profound, or perhaps the Source Ore’s Spirituality was too weak to truly manifest the cry’s true nature.
Even within his own Spiritual World, Chen Qi could only grasp the "what" of it, not the "how" or "why."
It was truly quite inconceivable.
Chen Qi had originally thought he would be omnipotent here.
But on second thought, that was impossible. This World was ultimately just a manifestation of his Spirituality, limited by his own power.
It was even possible that this bird’s cry wasn’t "the true form of the Source Ore’s Spirituality" but merely a manifestation based on the limits of Chen Qi’s own perception.
Excessive speculation was pointless. When his power was great enough, he would naturally find the answer.
For Chen Qi, the answer for now was that the cry of some terrifying creature had given birth to the Source Ore he now held.
In a trance, Chen Qi seemed to witness a scene from an ancient time.
It was an utterly desolate place where a tall mountain silently endured the light of the sun and moon.
One day, a cry that tore through the sea of clouds suddenly echoed from the heavens.
A piece of ore on the great mountain was incredibly fortunate to achieve Resonance with it, recording the fluctuation.
And thus, the Source Ore was born!
...
’Not good! I’m having a delusional vision!’
The greatest drawback of the new method was its tendency to spark overwhelming curiosity when encountering the incomprehensible.
If one failed to maintain restraint, they would manifest all sorts of delusional visions. This was already a mild case of becoming Obsessed.
This was the first time Chen Qi had encountered such a situation. Fortunately, he had read about similar cases in *Inner World General Knowledge*.
He focused his mind and emptied his thoughts.
As Chen Qi’s Consciousness gradually stabilized, he once again regained absolute control over his own Spirituality.
’This...’
’Is this the drawback of the new method? I guess nothing is ever perfect!’
At some point, a desolate continent had appeared within his Spiritual World.
Upon the continent stood a lonely, towering mountain where the Source Ore’s Spirituality was being born.
The Sun that had originally hung in the sky was long gone.
Clearly, within the Spiritual World, the delusional vision was no longer a mere illusion but had become a tangible reality.
Chen Qi felt a jolt of alarm. ’Extraordinary cultivation really isn’t so simple. There’s no room for carelessness.’
The next moment, Time Reversal occurred. The continent and mountain vanished, and the Source Ore’s Spirituality once again transformed into a Sun.
After this Anomaly, Chen Qi no longer dared to take Spirituality Assimilation lightly.
The bird’s cry was merely the trigger for his delusional vision.
The true Root of the problem was the Spirituality Assimilation itself.
Even though the Source Ore’s Spirituality was incredibly weak and fragile, it could still affect him.
Assimilating a Source Ore with a Spirituality frequency of only 3.14 was already this difficult. If he’d been foolish enough to try assimilating a Card, his grave would probably be overgrown with weeds by now.
This served as a wake-up call for Chen Qi. He would have to be much more cautious with the upcoming "Source Ore Completion."
...
Despite the unexpected incident, Chen Qi proceeded with his original plan to examine the Source Ore’s past experiences.
Unfortunately, the Source Ore’s Observation of the outside world was completely different from that of a normal living being.
Following the Source Ore’s perspective, Chen Qi could only see various kinds of Matter Fields.
This disappointed Chen Qi greatly; he had hoped to see what the Outer Ring World was really like.
For an incredibly long time—or rather, since the moment of its birth—the Source Ore had never moved.
Aside from learning some techniques for assimilating the surrounding Matter Fields, Chen Qi gained nothing else.
Until one day, the Source Ore’s perspective shifted. It left its familiar Matter Field; it must have been mined.
After that, it changed hands several times, until it was viciously bitten by Red Heart 7.
