Chapter 450: Final Treasure Zone

Chapter 450: Final Treasure Zone

Compass Carburettor spent a couple of hours training before deciding to rest. After all, he had to head towards the last treasure zone the next day and fight against Chenger and Warktor.

There was no other way to avoid it. Besides, he didn’t wish to let them live. After all, he would have to face even more System Hosts in the future. Letting them live would only increase his burden.

Anyway, now that he had the confidence to kill them, there was no way he would miss this opportunity. By killing them he could absorb their Coordinates.

“First, I should kill Warktor.” He sighed, “As for Chenger…”

Compass Carburettor hesitated for obvious reasons. He then shook his head, “It might be dangerous, but if I kill her, then that’s it. This is an inevitable fate in the end.”

He then summoned the Apocalypse World Compass Carburettor, making him use the System Skill of Info Scanner to obtain details related to Warktor.

Luck Siphon System—Level 90!

This was the System behind Warktor. The moment he obtained information regarding it, Compass Carburettor understood why Warktor wasn’t willing to fight him before at the Imperial treasury, even though he had been nearby.

It was because his Luck at that time was pretty low. So, Warktor wouldn’t be able to siphon a significant quantity of his Luck towards himself. There wouldn’t be enough difference in their Luck to create a pivotal result.

But, now that his luck recovered back to normal, siphoning his luck would better Warktor’s chances of killing him. After all, stealing so much luck would make his overall luck dwarf everyone else’s, making him invincible.

As he thought about it, Compass Carburettor shuddered, “Had I gone there to fight for the perfect material to fuse with, I would have died a dog’s death.”

He slowly began to think of a plan to face the two System Hosts tomorrow, slowly closing his eyes to fall asleep.

The morning of the next day, Compass Carburettor woke up with a start and freshened himself, taking a bath using the pond water. Thanks to Memoir Beckoner, he summoned the Apocalypse World’s Compass Carburettor, creating a permanent structure of a house using the Apocalypse Pearl energy blade.

Once he finished his preparations, he snapped his finger, causing the house to vanish.

Boarding the Claw Wolf, he began to proceed towards the final treasure region, one situated in the depths of the Folkan Secret Realm.

By afternoon, he began to see large groups of cultivators, all of which were in the Pseudo Martial Origin Stage.

Of course, after almost three months in the Folkan Secret Realm, they had trained and attained a successful breakthrough.

Most of them were at the Ninth Layer of the Origin Refinement Stage before this. So, it wasn’t a surprise that they attained a breakthrough.

There were also those at the First and Second Layer of the Origin Refinement Stage. They were the mortals that had entered the Folkan Secret Realm and awakened here.

Obviously, there was a place in the Secret Realm to awaken mortals. All the mortals were supposedly dropped nearby such a place while the cultivators were dropped closer to the Essence Derby Palace.

And now, even though the cultivators at the First and Second Layer of the Origin Refinement Stage were unable to break through to the Martial Origin Stage, they could at least find a good enough material to bring home with them.

Eventually, once they reach the Martial Origin Stage, they could fuse with the obtained material, which would definitely be tens of times better than what they could find outside.

In the end, everyone had their respective desires as all of them waited at the shores of a gigantic sea.

Situated in the centre of the sea was an island. But, the distance to reach it was more than two hundred kilometres, with the water also being treacherous, filled with Origin Beasts.

It was not to mention there being a barrier surrounding the island, preventing any entry before the solicited time.

As everyone waited at the shores, there was suddenly a burst of energy, followed by a pillar of light that reached the skies, visible from even the shores. It was because the pillar of light covered the entire island.

“Wow!”

“Amazing!”

“Such a mysterious power!”

The cultivators exclaimed as they noticed streaks of light branching out from the beam that transformed into boats once they reached the shore.

The boats neatly lined up the shores, and judging by how they glided over the sea, the boats seemed to be the only option to enter and exit the island.

Immediately after, a streak of light manifested into large words in the air.

[One Boat, One Cultivator]

“Wait, does that mean only one cultivator can board a boat?” One of them muttered.

“One, two, three…there only seem to be around 1000 boats here…” Another cultivator muttered.

Immediately, sparks flickered across the air as everyone began to view everyone else as an enemy. Two cultivators nearby a boat leaped onto it immediately when it began to sink almost instantly.

Alarmed, they leaped out of it, noticing the boat surfacing once again. When only one cultivator boarded it, the boat was fine. But the moment a second one boarded it, the boat began to sink instantly.

Now that they had verified the words projected in the air, all the cultivators took arms, beginning to compete. After all, there were only 1000 seats available to reach the island.

Chenger was the first to occupy a boat, suppressing everyone nearby with her Heaven Martial Spirit aura.

She also helped her underlings obtain some spots too.

Warktor occupied two boats, one for himself, and one for his disciple.

Grisha, Xuer, Ranze, and Bunuela found their respective boats, setting sail immediately, unwilling to lag.

The number of boats quickly dwindled as those that gained an advantage hurriedly embarked from the shore.

The sea level turned deep sharply, not to mention the dangerous Origin Beasts lurking around, preventing the cultivators from chasing after the boats that had set sail already.

There was a bloodbath following that as the contest for the remaining boats increased in frenzy. Finally, there was just one boat remaining. And the only reason it hadn’t set sail was due to the fact that people were entirely focused on it, killing anyone that approached it.

Right at this time, Compass Carburettor arrived at the shore, stopping by the pile of corpses first as he fed their blood and nutrients to his Blood Vitality Grass. He didn’t seem all that pressed for time, unlike others.
