Chapter 137: Chapter 103: What Happens When an Egg Hits a Rock?

With Zhao Neng’s orders, his assistant immediately found someone to go film the Meadow Sage Flower Sea.

The assistant went over personally, bringing a photographer from You City TV Station whose skills were top-notch.

"Photographer Li, we’re counting on you for this shoot," the assistant said very politely.

"I’ll do my best." Li Shen hadn’t wanted to shoot this promotional video for the Flower Sea. After all, he was a photographer for You City TV Station. No matter how poorly the station was doing, his position still carried a certain prestige.

But the client was the wealthy Kailin Investment, and the pay was just too good.

However, when he arrived at the Meadow Sage Flower Sea, his eyes lit up. "This Meadow Sage Flower Sea isn’t half bad. Spanning several hundred acres, it’s actually quite spectacular."

The camera assistant beside him chimed in, "Yeah. It’s not as good as the canola Flower Sea at Li Yuan Farm, but it’s definitely beautiful."

When Zhao Neng’s assistant heard this, his eyes lit up.

’This Li Shen is a photographer for You City TV Station, so his opinion is definitely credible. As for him saying it’s not as good as the canola Flower Sea... hasn’t the blooming season for their canola Flower Sea ended?’

’What did people online say about Li Yuan Farm’s canola Flower Sea?’

’It was absolutely one-of-a-kind and impossible to imitate. People called it a fluke of nature, and many influencers claimed that even Li Yuan Farm itself probably couldn’t recreate such a canola Flower Sea.’

’It was just like the once-unrivaled Meihe Flower Sea, which had been famous nationwide. But after it withered, when they planted new flowers the next year, everyone said it wasn’t as good as the original.’

While Kailin Investment Farm was sending people to film its Meadow Sage Flower Sea, Lin Muxue was also rushing out of the office with her team.

"President Zhang was reliable for once. He notified us the moment the Seven-Color Flower Sea was finished."

"Yeah. Before, we’d have to find out about so many things from videos posted by tourists."

"..."

The words of the young women on her team struck a chord with Lin Muxue.

’Looks like President Zhang actually listened to what I said before.’

Now that the blooming season for the farm’s canola Flower Sea had ended, she was placing great importance on promoting the Seven-Color Flower Sea.

After all, this project was meant to be the successor to the canola Flower Sea.

However, she still had some concerns about this new Flower Sea. The main issue was that the canola Flower Sea had been just too stunning. In online Flower Sea rankings, Li Yuan Farm’s canola Flower Sea had placed first several times; it was universally acclaimed.

But a Flower Sea of that quality wasn’t something that could be created so easily.

Even if President Zhang created another Flower Sea, there was no guarantee it would be as beautiful as the canola one. If it was far inferior, the promotional campaign would draw online criticism and leave visitors feeling let down.

She knew that most of the followers on the farm’s Tiao Yin account were women, many of whom had followed Li Yuan Farm specifically because of the canola Flower Sea.

By the time Lin Muxue led her team to the Seven-Color Flower Sea, the last of the construction crew was leaving. The first thing she saw was a waist-high bamboo fence enclosing the entire area.

The entrance was a special arched structure entwined with vines and fresh flowers. A sign hung in the middle, reading: Seven-Color Flower Sea.

The setup was quite eye-catching.

"Let’s go in!" Lin Muxue said, leading her team into the Seven-Color Flower Sea.

After they entered, passed the ticket gate, and walked through a large rest area, the Seven-Color Flower Sea finally came into view, and their faces filled with utter disbelief.

As they stepped into the Flower Sea, they were instantly captivated by the dazzling sight. The interwoven colors created a vista that resembled a vast, boundless rainbow. It was simply breathtaking, a shock to the senses.

’So beautiful!’

That was the single thought they all shared.

It seemed to be just seven ordinary types of flowers, but planted together in this interwoven pattern, they created a dazzling visual impact that left one breathless.

"This Flower Sea is every bit as good as the canola Flower Sea!" Lin Muxue’s face beamed with joy. She quickly led her team further in. After strolling through the flowers for a short while, she knew all her previous worries had been for nothing.

"Just like the canola Flower Sea, the scenery is gorgeous. It’s impossible to take a bad picture," said Liu Qian, holding a small video camera. After filming a couple of clips, she was at a loss for words.

The other young women also took out their phones to film, their reactions eventually turning into words of sheer amazement:

"Incredible! President Zhang really is a genius!"

"Yeah! Pulling off the canola Flower Sea might have been luck, but to create the Seven-Color Flower Sea and have it be this perfect? That’s pure talent!"

"It seems like President Zhang has an ability in this area that no one else can match!"

"..."

Of course, they had no idea this was simply because the Seven-Color Flower Sea and the canola Flower Sea shared the same attributes: [Aesthetics +1] and [Photogenic +1].

With the boost from these game-like attributes, even a pig could have created a beautiful Flower Sea.

Then, Lin Muxue had her team begin filming in earnest. They needed to produce a promotional video first. By combining ground-level shots with aerial footage from a drone, they got all the material they needed. Afterward, she immediately led her team back to the office to start editing.

As soon as the video was edited, she took it to show Zhang Lin. "President Zhang, I’m truly impressed with you now. This Seven-Color Flower Sea doesn’t lose out to the canola Flower Sea in the slightest!"

Zhang Lin smiled as he took the video of the Seven-Color Flower Sea.

’They’re both products of the game with the same attributes,’ he thought. ’It would be strange if it wasn’t a success.’

’Still, I have to admit,’ he mused, ’the promotional video Lin Muxue’s team put together is much better than the one I shot back then.’

’Even though they both have the [Photogenic +1] attribute, the quality of the video itself still makes a difference. With better filming techniques and methods, the boost from the [Photogenic +1] attribute is definitely more effective...’
