I Can Evolve Spirit Elementals
Chapter 177 Reports on Damon
Chapter 177: Chapter 177: Reports on Damon
"Don’t waste this opportunity!" an elder shouted. "Reinforce the formation and push them back!"
The elemental users immediately responded.
Fire erupted from one side of the formation, while waves of ice and wind swept across the other. Lightning flashed between the defensive barriers, striking the beasts as they charged forward.
Kane also raised his hand, and Purple Storm Lightning gathered around his body.
Although he was still exhausted, the support from Winter’s Blessing allowed him to focus better and control his remaining Aether.
"Everyone, move forward!"
His voice carried across the frontline.
The defenders surged ahead, launching another wave of attacks against the remaining beasts.
Damon watched them for a moment before nodding in satisfaction.
"Looks like they’re back in the fight."
Caelia stood beside him, her gaze moving across the revived formation.
"Your timing was good. They were close to collapsing."
"They just needed a little help."
"That’s all?"
Damon glanced at her.
"What else would you call it?"
Caelia shook her head with a smile.
"You’re really something."
"Let’s save the compliments for after we’ve finished."
He turned toward the remaining beasts, and Caelia followed.
With the defenders fighting alongside them, the tide began to lose its momentum. The beasts that had once overwhelmed the frontline were now being pushed back, their numbers decreasing as the elemental users regained control of the battlefield.
Damon and his spirits continued clearing the stronger monsters, while Caelia and the defenders dealt with those that remained.
The difference was immediate.
The frontline that had been on the verge of collapse was now advancing.
Inside the command area, the elders received one report after another.
"Young Master Damon has reached the frontline!"
"He is fighting alongside three Spirit Elementals, and the beasts are being cleared at an incredible rate!"
"His Frost Qilin has also cast a support art across the entire formation. The defenders are recovering their focus and have begun pushing forward!"
The scouts delivered their reports in quick succession, leaving the elders struggling to keep up.
One of them leaned forward.
"Wait. Did you say Damon has three Spirit Elementals?"
"Yes, Elder. Alongside the Wind Sovereign Roc and the nine-tailed lightning beast, there is also a Frost Qilin."
The elders exchanged glances.
A Frost Qilin was already a rare Spirit Beast, and one capable of casting a support art over the entire frontline was even more remarkable.
But what caught their attention was the fact that Damon had so many powerful spirits under his command.
And he was using them with remarkable efficiency.
"Who is the young woman fighting alongside him?" another elder asked.
"She appears to be Caelia Winterbourne."
The representatives from Frostveil Expanse fell silent.
They knew exactly who Caelia was.
The Winterbourne family’s young genius had accompanied Damon all the way here, and judging from the reports, she was fighting alongside him without hesitation.
One of the representatives lowered his head.
It was becoming increasingly difficult to ignore the truth.
Damon hadn’t simply helped Winterbourne by chance. He had genuinely possessed the strength to make a difference, and the family’s praise of his abilities had not been an exaggeration.
They remembered how he had stabilized Frostveil Expanse and helped them overcome the crisis surrounding their Zone Heart. They also remembered how they had treated him before realizing just how much they needed him.
And now, he had come to Tempest Hollow and done the same thing.
The representative’s expression grew bitter.
We really did misjudge him.
Another couldn’t help recalling the apology they had been forced to make. They had knelt before Damon, begged for his help and promised to make amends.
At the time, they had struggled to accept that they had to lower themselves before someone they once considered insignificant.
Now, seeing what he was capable of, the memory felt even more humiliating.
They had not only underestimated him.
They had insulted someone who possessed the strength to save them.
One of the elders finally spoke.
"So the Winterbourne family was right to place their trust in him."
The representative didn’t answer.
What could he say?
The evidence was right before them, and every new report only made their earlier judgment look worse.
The Calloway family head remained unusually quiet.
He sat at the center of the command area, listening as the reports continued to arrive.
Damon was alive.
His son, whom the family had once regarded as a failure, had returned with strength that none of them could have imagined.
The family head’s expression remained composed, but his thoughts were far from calm.
He remembered the Awakening Ceremony.
Damon had awakened a White Core, the highest grade known to their family, yet he had failed to display any conventional elemental affinity. Despite the extraordinary grade of his core, the family had gradually turned away from him.
They had considered him a wasted talent.
And now, the reports claimed he wielded three elements.
Ice.
Wind.
And lightning.
The last one was particularly difficult for the family head to ignore.
Lightning was the pride of the Calloway family. Their strongest members had spent years refining their control over it, and Kane’s Purple Storm Lightning was considered one of the family’s greatest achievements among the younger generation.
Yet Damon had displayed a rare silver lightning that was powerful enough to tear through countless beasts.
A lightning element that the family had never known him to possess.
The family head’s fingers tightened against the armrest.
How did this happen?
He had believed Damon possessed no elements. The family had made that judgment after the Awakening Ceremony, and everyone had accepted it.
But the reports from Tempest Hollow told a completely different story.
Damon had not only acquired elemental abilities, but he had also acquired several powerful Spirit Elementals to accompany him.
The family head looked toward the battlefield reports again.
The Wind Sovereign Roc and the nine-tailed lightning beast were already familiar from the Floating Ruin incident. Their abilities had attracted considerable attention, and their master’s identity had remained a subject of speculation.
Now that person had been identified.
