Chapter 512: The Shrine Of Light I ( Bonus Chapter )

Lian also only stared for a few seconds, the newcomers did not pay the slightest attention to the two of them and surprisingly attacked the forces of Region Three directly.

Spears.

Dark arrows.

Heavy attacks from behind the lines.

One of the priests of Region Three blocked the attack with a Light Shield.

"Disable the towers! No artifact inside the sanctuary can fall into the hands of Region Three!" the commander of Region Six shouted loudly.

His soldiers split into several groups, some went directly toward Region Three, while others moved toward the mirror towers.

The rest went toward the people who were trying to open the sanctuary door.

"You bastards from Region Six, what the hell are you doing here?! Get lost!"

"Do you think we will let you Light Dogs obtain that weapon of your false god and use it to suppress us?!"

"Whether you like it or not, we will obtain the weapon!"

"We will see about that! soldiers of darkness, slaughter all of them!"

While the two sides were fighting, the two outsiders in the middle were completely forgotten.

"I thought they all hated us." Kain even forgot about the fight for a moment.

Lian looked at the two groups of natives who were now killing each other in the middle of a holy city.

"Apparently, they also found time to hate each other, but this is great." He also had not expected there to be conflicts between the natives of this world.

He had expected that after everything that had happened to them, at least all of them would be united.

But what they were seeing was completely opposite to what he expected.

"For us?"

The young Vorhelm moved his eyes toward the sanctuary gate, half of the Region Three forces had been forced to return.

The priests had also spread out to protect the towers.

The direct path to the only remaining door was almost empty.

"Yeah."

"Let’s go." Kain understood.

The two of them ran, One was also behind them, neither of the two Regions was paying full attention to them for now.

Region Three was trapped in the sudden attack, and Region Six was more focused on destroying the towers.

"This chance won’t happen again."

Kain nodded.

They reached the only remaining door, and as soon as Kain was only a few meters away, the eye and tear symbol lit up.

"Did it react to me? Or did I imagine it?" He stopped.

"Get closer." Lian, who had already understood what was happening, said to him calmly.

Kain placed his palm on the center of the seal, light entered the white surface from his body, and the entire gate shook for a moment.

Then twelve lines came out from the center.

Each one moved toward one of the points around the gate, but only nine paths were completed, three lines were cut off in the middle.

[Mechanism activated.]

[Child of Light identified.]

[Structural error.]

[3 Reflection Paths are disconnected.]

[Entry Ritual cannot be completed.]

Kain looked at the notification for a few seconds and then looked at Lian.

"Looks like there is a problem."

Lian narrowed his eyes.

[True Sequence.]

The mana paths appeared in front of him, Kain’s light was entering the seal perfectly, the problem was not him.

In three parts of the structure, the inner reflection plates were broken, one on the left side of the entrance, one dozens of meters higher, and the third one behind a section of a collapsed pillar.

"The key is fine, but the lock is broken." He then said calmly.

"Of course, how did I think things would finally go easily?" Kain let out a short sigh.

The young Vorhelm raised his hand.

[Frost Dominion.]

An ice plate formed in the air, but this time its purpose was not defense.

He made it thinner, smooth and clear, and then controlled its surface so precisely that it became almost like a mirror.

He placed the ice mirror at the exact angle between the two sections.

"Now."

Kain summoned his light without asking any questions, the beam hit the surface of the ice, changed direction, and entered the next part of the path.

Click!

The first node lit up.

[Path 10/12 recovered.]

"Oh? It worked haha." Kain said with excitement without taking his hand away from the seal.

"I saw it." As he expected, he really was a genius.

But unfortunately, the natives of Region Three finally noticed.

"They are opening the seal!" one of the distant priests shouted.

Several soldiers changed their path and moved toward them, they could not allow the outsiders to open the sanctuary.

One stepped forward.

Lian sent only one command through the link, no one gets close.

"Although I guess One won’t be enough." After thinking for a moment, he decided to summon his second Special Colony Member for the first time.

[Name: Two]

[Special Colony Member]

[Status: Summoning]

One stood in front of the stairs, his body covering the entire width of the main section.

But before the soldiers had a chance to confront him, thousands of particles of light suddenly appeared from nowhere.

The particles of light gathered in the air and were quickly pulled toward one point, until something huge started to take shape inside the intense light.

A few seconds later, a monster appeared that could cause fear even among terrifying creatures.

A giant wolf.

It was more than fifteen meters tall, and its huge body almost filled the entire street.

Its thick black fur moved slowly in the wind, and every movement of its body created a heavy sound.

But what was more frightening than the size of its body was its head.

Eight closed eyes were placed across its face.

None of the eyes were open, but even so, the presence of those eight closed eyes made the soldiers feel as if something was looking directly into the deepest part of their bodies.

Its claws were as large as a human body, and its teeth were so huge that each one was enough to easily crush a human’s bones.

Heavy pressure spread from its body.

Even without moving, small cracks appeared in the ground under its feet, and at the exact moment it completely appeared...

"Grrrrrrrrr!"

The terrifying roar of the wolf spread across the entire city.

The sound was so loud that the windows of the nearby buildings shook, and several soldiers lost their balance.

"By the Divine Of Light... what the hell is this...?"

"A Dev—A Devil!"

"This is a True Devil!!"

The soldiers of Region Three fell to the ground in fear and stepped back one after another.

None of them dared to get close to the creature.

Two stared at them with his huge mouth and teeth that were large enough to crush a building.

He did nothing for a few seconds, then turned his head.

His eight closed eyes turned toward Lian, and unlike a moment ago, the giant wolf became completely calm and even showed a respectful attitude.

"I don’t want anyone to get in the way."

His master only said that, and the wolf immediately lowered his head, then took a step forward and placed his huge body directly in the soldiers’ path.

No one could pass through anymore.

The presence of Two alone was enough to make the soldiers of Region Three not even dare to come closer.

One let out a short growl after seeing this scene, the sound was almost like a complaint...as if he was even a little jealous
