I am using hacks in cultivation world
Chapter 193: Ch 193- Showing off (2)
Mo Yuan continued signing autographs while secretly observing Mo Ran through his Origin Sense.
Not far from the academy gate, Mo Ran was standing with her three female friends. Goldy was resting comfortably on her shoulder, while Kitty lay lazily across her other shoulder. They had just left the academy when they noticed the crowd surrounding a young man near the entrance.
Mo Ran instantly recognized Mo Yuan. She knew he would be coming today and when she saw him standing there signing autographs, a smile appeared on her face.
She looked at her friends and thought, ’You didn’t believe me before. Now I want to see your faces when you find out he’s my brother.’
"What’s going on over there?" one of the girls asked curiously.
"Let’s take a look," another suggested.
However, before they could move, the third girl glanced at Mo Ran and suddenly remembered something.
"Wait, Mo Ran, didn’t you say your brother was Mo Yuan?"
Mo Ran immediately lifted her chin with a proud expression.
"That’s right!"
Her friends exchanged glances.
"Come on, stop joking!"
"Exactly! Mo Yuan is a famous cultivator who saved several bases during the beast tide. How could someone like him be your older brother?"
Mo Ran puffed up her cheeks.
"I already told you that he is! Why won’t you believe me?"
"Then where is he? You said he would come to pick you up today."
Mo Ran pointed toward the crowd with complete confidence.
"He’s right there!"
All three girls followed her finger.
At first, they didn’t understand what she was pointing at. Then they noticed the young man surrounded by dozens of students, patiently signing autographs.
One of the girls eyes widened.
"W-Wait a minute..."
Another girl stared at the young man’s face before suddenly gasping.
"That’s Mo Yuan!"
The three girls turned toward Mo Ran at the same time.
"YOU WEREN’T LYING?!"
Mo Ran crossed her arms and raised her chin proudly.
"Of course I wasn’t! Why would I lie about my own brother?"
Her friends were speechless.
They had thought Mo Ran was simply bragging about having a famous brother. They never imagined she was telling the truth!
One of the girls grabbed Mo Ran’s arm excitedly.
"Quick! Introduce us to him!"
"Yeah! I want to meet him!"
"Can you ask him for an autograph for me?"
Mo Ran looked at their suddenly enthusiastic faces and couldn’t stop smiling.
’Hehe. Let’s see who dares to say I’m lying now!’
Meanwhile, Mo Yuan finally finished signing the last autograph. After saying goodbye to the students, he walked toward Mo Ran and her friends.
The three girls immediately straightened their backs.
"Brother, you’re finally done!" Mo Ran said, walking up to him with a bright smile.
Mo Yuan patted her head.
"Sorry for keeping you waiting."
Then he glanced at her three friends and asked, "These are your friends?"
"Yes! This is Lin Xia, Chen Mei and Wang Li. They’re my friends."
Mo Yuan nodded with a smile.
"Nice to meet you."
Mo Ran introduced each of them and the girls greeted Mo Yuan nervously.
"Hello, Senior Mo!"
Mo Yuan smiled at them. "There’s no need to be so nervous. You’re my sister’s friends, so you can treat me like your brother too."
The girls exchanged glances.
Treat a famous cultivator who had saved multiple bases like their brother?
That was easier said than done!
One of them finally gathered her courage and asked, "Senior Mo, is it true that you fought those terrifying beasts during the beast tide?"
"Yes."
"And you defeated them yourself?"
"Some of them."
Mo Yuan answered casually, as if they were talking about something completely ordinary.
His relaxed attitude only made the girls more impressed.
Mo Ran, who had been waiting for this moment, immediately joined the conversation and bragged about him.
"My brother is really strong! You should have seen him when he fought those beasts!"
Mo Yuan glanced at her.
"Oh? I thought you were always complaining that I never stayed home."
Mo Ran’s face instantly turned red.
"Brother! Don’t say that in front of them!"
Her friends burst into laughter and the nervous atmosphere finally eased.
One of the girls looked at Mo Ran with envy.
"You never told us your brother was this amazing!"
"I DID tell you!" Mo Ran protested. "You were the ones who refused to believe me!"
"All right, all right. We believe you now!"
Mo Ran gave them a satisfied nod.
’That’s more like it!’
Mo Yuan watched the exchange with an amused smile. He had come here for exactly this reason and judging from his sister’s expression, the result was more than satisfactory.
"All right, little troublemaker. Let’s go home."
Mo Ran puffed up her cheeks at his words but she quickly followed him.
Her friends walked beside them, sneaking glances at Mo Yuan every now and then. They still couldn’t quite believe that the famous cultivator they had heard so much about was actually Mo Ran’s older brother.
One of them leaned toward Mo Ran and whispered, "Your brother really is cool."
Mo Ran tried to maintain a calm expression but her smile betrayed her.
’Hehe. Of course he is!’
Mo Yuan heard the whisper through his Origin Sense and nearly laughed.
’Looks like my little sister is finally satisfied.’
He slipped his hands into his jacket pockets and continued walking, looking as relaxed as ever.
For Mo Yuan, defeating powerful beasts was nothing unusual but making his younger sister happy?
That was a different kind of achievement.
Soon, the three girls went their separate ways, while Mo Yuan and Mo Ran returned home with Goldy and Kitty.
As soon as they entered the house, Mo Ran and the two pets settled comfortably on the sofa. Within minutes, Mo Ran was resting peacefully, with Goldy and Kitty lying beside her.
Mo Yuan looked at his younger sister and smiled.
"Satisfied now?"
Mo Ran immediately raised her head, a bright smile appearing on her face.
"Of course, Brother! Did you see their shocked expressions when they realized you were really my brother. Hahaha!"
Seeing how happy she was, Mo Yuan nodded in satisfaction.
"All right, then. I’m going to cultivate."
Mo Ran waved her hand at him before returning to her comfortable position on the sofa.
Mo Yuan entered his cultivation chamber and closed the door behind him. After sitting down cross-legged, the relaxed expression on his face slowly disappeared, replaced by seriousness.
"Now, it’s time to cultivate."
His eyes narrowed slightly.
’I need to reach the Origin Lord Realm as soon as possible.’
