As soon as Mo Yuan reached the 100th floor, the elevator doors opened with a soft ding.

He stepped out and saw David sitting behind a large table, going through several files. Mo Yuan did not want to disturb him, so he quietly walked over and sat down across from him, waiting patiently.

About five minutes later, David finally finished the last file and looked up. The moment he saw Mo Yuan, a smile appeared on his face.

"My my, you have already reached the mid stage of the Origin Soul Realm. How long has it been since you broke through to the Origin Soul Realm?"

Mo Yuan was not surprised that David had noticed his cultivation. In front of a Sovereign Realm cultivator, there was almost no way to hide his cultivation completely.

"Haha, I was lucky," Mo Yuan replied casually.

"I guess you were," David said with a teasing smile.

Mo Yuan smiled awkwardly before getting straight to the point.

"Senior, when will the Secret Realm open?"

"The date is going to be officially announced soon. It will open tomorrow," David replied. "We will leave early in the morning, so make sure you arrive here on time. I don’t think I need to remind you about something like that but I’ll say it anyway."

"I understand. I’ll make sure to arrive early."

Mo Yuan nodded. Since David was still busy with his work, he did not want to waste his time.

"Since you seem busy, I’ll take my leave."

"Alright. I’ll see you tomorrow morning."

Mo Yuan nodded and entered the elevator.

After leaving the Human Federation Tower, Mo Yuan stood outside for a moment and looked around.

He suddenly realized that he had an entire day free.

"What should I do now?"

For the past few months, his life had basically been cultivation, hunting beasts and dealing with whatever trouble came his way.

He had almost forgotten what people normally did when they had free time.

"I guess I’ll just go home."

With that thought, Mo Yuan headed back.

When he arrived home, he found Mo Ran lying lazily on the sofa and Kitty was also sleeping nearby.

Mo Yuan looked at the two of them and sighed.

"These two..."

He walked over and flicked Mo Ran lightly on the forehead.

"Ouch!"

Mo Ran immediately woke up and rubbed her forehead. When she saw Mo Yuan standing in front of her with a smile, she pouted.

"What was that for, brother?"

"Nothing. I just wanted to see your reaction."

Mo Yuan laughed as he sat down beside her.

After a moment, he asked, "How is the academy going?"

He had been so busy with cultivation recently that he had barely asked about Mo Ran’s life at the academy.

"It’s going well," Mo Ran replied. "They haven’t taught us any body tempering techniques yet. Right now, they mostly teach us about beasts and other basic knowledge."

"That’s normal. Your body still needs to grow. Once you turn fourteen, I’ll let you start cultivating."

He did not want Mo Ran to start cultivating too early and damage her foundation.

Mo Ran was silent for a moment before looking at him hesitantly.

"Brother..."

"Hm?"

"I heard that you’re a genius in Cang Lan Base. Is it true that you defended an entire base by yourself?"

Mo Yuan stared at her for a moment before laughing.

"Haha, silly girl. Where did you hear that?"

Mo Ran immediately puffed out her cheeks.

"Of course I heard it from my classmates! Your posters are everywhere and everyone in my academy talks about you. When I told them that you are my brother, they didn’t even believe me!"

Mo Yuan could not help but smile.

So his reputation had already spread to the academy.

Mo Ran suddenly pointed at him.

"You have to come pick me up from the academy tomorrow!"

"Tomorrow?"

"Yes! If you don’t come, I’m not talking to you anymore!"

Mo Yuan scratched his head.

"Ah, about that..."

He had almost forgotten about it.

"Actually, I have to go on a mission tomorrow morning. I probably won’t be back for at least a month."

Mo Ran’s expression instantly became unhappy.

"A month?"

"Yeah."

He had also just realized that he still did not know exactly how long the Secret Realm would remain open. He would have to ask David tomorrow.

Mo Ran turned her head away and pouted.

"Okay, okay. After this mission, I’ll make sure to visit your academy. Then you can show me off to all your friends."

"Really?"

"Really."

"Yay!"

Mo Ran immediately became happy again.

Mo Yuan shook his head helplessly.

"This silly girl."

The two siblings continued talking for a while and before they knew it, evening had already arrived.

After having dinner together, Mo Yuan returned to the cultivation chamber. Since he would be leaving early the next morning, he decided to meditate for the rest of the night and keep himself in his best condition.

"I’ll leave for the Mu Family Manor at four in the morning," Mo Yuan thought as he sat down cross-legged.

He slowly closed his eyes and entered meditation.

The night passed quietly.

Soon, four in the morning arrived.

A soft alarm rang inside the cultivation chamber, waking Mo Yuan from his meditation. He opened his eyes, turned off the alarm and stood up.

"Time to go."

He left the cultivation chamber and quietly left his house, making his way toward the Mu Family Manor.

The streets were still quiet at this hour, with barely anyone outside. For an ordinary person, the distance would have taken quite some time but for Mo Yuan, it only took a few minutes.

Soon, the large gates of the Mu Family Manor appeared in front of him.

Five minutes later, Mo Yuan arrived at the entrance.

Two Origin Soul Realm guards were still standing there despite the early hour. As soon as they saw Mo Yuan, they immediately straightened up and greeted him respectfully.

"Good morning, sir."

Mo Yuan nodded in response.

One of the guards then stepped forward and said, "Miss has been waiting for you."

He opened the gate, allowing Mo Yuan to enter.

Mo Yuan walked inside the manor, heading toward the main residence.
