David stared directly at the Flood Dragon.

"So why are you launching another beast tide? Are you trying to start a war with the human race?"

The Flood Dragon did not answer.

He simply sat there calmly, as if David’s anger had nothing to do with him.

At that moment, the black-haired girl returned from the other room. She was now properly dressed and carried a wine bottle in her hands.

She walked over to the Flood Dragon and poured the wine into his cup before standing quietly beside him.

The Flood Dragon picked up the cup and took a slow sip.

The girl nodded.

A remote suddenly appeared in her hand. She pressed a button and a projector descended from the ceiling.

A huge image appeared in the middle of the hall.

David’s expression changed slightly when he saw it.

The scene showed a massive area of the Cang Wilderness and the land had been completely destroyed.

The ground was covered in countless deep cracks and huge craters could be seen everywhere. Trees had been reduced to ashes, mountains had been cut apart and countless beast corpses were scattered across the wilderness.

The destruction stretched for nearly 100 kilometers.

David’s eyes narrowed.

"What do you mean by this?"

The Flood Dragon calmly took another sip of wine.

"This was discovered yesterday."

He pointed toward the projection.

"The entire ecosystem within this area was destroyed. Countless beasts died. Several of my Peak Realm beasts were also killed."

His voice remained calm but a cold light flashed in his eyes.

"Now tell me, David."

"Which Sovereign Realm cultivator from your human race did this?"

David’s expression instantly became ugly.

The Flood Dragon smiled.

"Who else could it be?"

"It was you humans who started this."

"Impossible!"

Every second mattered.

David took a deep breath and suppressed his anger.

"Enough."

He looked directly at the Flood Dragon.

"What do you want?"

The Flood Dragon remained silent.

He slowly swirled the wine inside his cup, enjoying the moment.

David’s expression became increasingly impatient.

Finally, the Flood Dragon raised his head.

"50,000?"

"Yes."
