Chapter 752: Chapter 400: Spirit Race Public Star Realm (3)
“Secondly, Sun God-level experts usually hold high positions within their respective races. It’s unlikely they’d stoop to being Star Pirates. The only exceptions are the Defiled Sun Gods. They wouldn’t care, since they’re basically public pariahs with no dignity to lose. Besides, piracy has always been the main source of income for the Defiled.”
After the Pope said that, Su Ze agreed it was highly likely. It was a shame no one had disembarked from the ship; otherwise, he could have used their scent to confirm their identities.
“Forget it. Even if they are the Defiled, it has nothing to do with us. We can’t handle a Sun God anyway.”
Su Ze put the matter out of his mind and turned to give orders to everyone on the ship.
“When we’re about to arrive, everyone will split up. Two or three people per ship. Disguise yourselves as members of different races and pretend you don’t know each other.
“After you complete your individual tasks, you can either return to the docking area or move about freely to procure any resources you need. However, once word of the auction gets out, you must return to your ships immediately and prepare for evacuation!
“For private matters, you can contact each other with these phones. The range is limited, so they definitely won’t cover the entire Public Star Realm, but I’ll make sure the docking area is within signal range.”
As Su Ze finished speaking, the Pope handed out the phones, one to each person.
These were new-generation Spirit Communication Phones the Pope had created during their journey. They used the head of a Moon God pirate with powerful Spiritual Power—one they had killed en route—as a base station. The signal range was massive, making interplanetary communication effortless, but it still couldn’t cover an entire Star Realm.
Su Ze created a clone, which quickly transformed into a man from the Sea Race. His original body, meanwhile, took on the disguise of a middle-aged man from a third-rate race.
Additionally, the Magic Cube and the other ships each held a Star God-level captive. Su Ze had taken control of all of them using Blood and Flesh Parasite.
Su Ze wasn’t controlling them for just any reason; they were to be used as targets for his Replacement Skill.
This was a high-stakes operation, so he naturally had to make thorough preparations to ensure his own safety.
He felt it was too risky to rely solely on the reputation of the Public Star Realm to guarantee his life.
…
The construction of the Spirit Race Public Star Realm was a massive undertaking that had shaken the entire universe.
In fact, the construction of any Public Star Realm is a monumental project.
The universe contains countless Star Realms, each comprising trillions of planets at the very least. And that’s only counting planetary bodies; asteroids, moons, and the like aren’t even included in the tally.
But despite the vast number of planets, habitable ones are pitifully few. Most have harsh environments unsuitable for sustaining life.
And among those habitable worlds, planets capable of awakening evolutionary power are rarer still.
However, the Spirit Race cleared this entire Star Realm of all non-habitable planets, leaving behind only over one hundred thousand habitable ones.
They then transferred planets from other Star Realms to round out the number of Evolutionary Planets to one thousand.
In other words, the entire Star Realm had been culled, leaving just over a hundred thousand ordinary habitable planets and one thousand planets that had awakened their evolutionary power.
As a result, the entire Star Realm was left wide open and exposed, giving anyone hiding in the shadows nowhere to run.
This is why there’s no room for Star Pirates in a Public Star Realm; they have nowhere to hide.
Today, all one hundred thousand-plus planets in this Star Realm are open to the public, and countless people visit daily for leisure and vacation.
Safety is guaranteed here; no one would dare cause trouble in the territory of a Dominator Race.
Furthermore, the hundred thousand-plus habitable planets here are incredibly diverse, offering every imaginable environment and topography.
There are lush rainforests, boundless deserts, planets entirely covered by oceans with not a speck of land—a favorite of the Sea Race—and ancient worlds teeming with primeval life and scenery…
There are also all sorts of novel and exciting entertainment venues, offering services so imaginative they’ll blow your mind.
In short, if you can imagine it, you can find it here—and even things you can’t.
This attracted beings from every race in the universe to come and spend their money.
Naturally, it also attracted countless merchants looking to make a profit.
The commercial hubs of the Spirit Race Public Star Realm are concentrated on those one thousand Evolutionary Planets.
Su Ze and his group weren’t here for a vacation, so their destination was precisely those one thousand Evolutionary Planets.
The entire Public Star Realm is divided into an outer region and a core region. The outer area could be called the “recreation and entertainment zone,” while the core region is, naturally, the commercial district.
Su Ze’s group piloted their nine ships into the Public Star Realm from different directions.
Upon entering the outer region, they underwent an identity check, which was relatively lenient. After registering their ships and each person’s race and evolution level, everyone received a personal access pass and was allowed to proceed.
This pass was extremely important; it served as their identification for all activities within the Public Star Realm. Without it, they wouldn’t be able to get anywhere.
However, that was just the security check for the outer region. The inspections to enter the core commercial district were much stricter.
The one thousand planets of the commercial district were surrounded by an Energy Shield, leaving only a single entrance.
To enter the commercial district through this entrance, you had to undergo a secondary security check. This one was mainly to verify that no one was concealing their true power level.
Su Ze and his group had reported their evolution levels truthfully. As Moon Gods and Star Gods, they were unremarkable in the commercial district and were naturally allowed through with ease.
In the outer region, you could still pilot your own ship to any planet you wished, but things were different in the core commercial district.
There was a dedicated planet at the entrance just for docking ships.
To travel between planets within the commercial district, you had to use a Teleportation Array. Personal flight, even without a ship, was forbidden.
And each use of the Teleportation Array required a fee.
