I am the Clone of a Death Row Inmate

Chapter 714 - 388: The Might of Mr. Ao, the Strength of the Ancestral God’s Body

  • Next Chapter

As Balrog’s spaceship ascended, Mr. Ao’s body relentlessly dismantled it.

Metal plates and components rained down from the sky. Under the brutal dismantling by Mr. Ao’s body, the Sun God-level spaceship shrank at a visible rate.

After being rammed by the Magic Cube, Balrog’s spaceship had sustained considerable damage.

Without the protection of its Protective Shield, a direct, high-speed hull collision like that was extremely damaging to the vessel.

It wasn’t just Balrog’s ship; the Magic Cube was damaged as well.

However, since it didn’t have a human-shaped demolition machine like Mr. Ao’s body constantly wrecking it, the Magic Cube was in much better shape than Balrog’s vessel.

Inside the spaceship, Balrog’s expression was grim. With the vessel damaged to this extent, even if he forced it to fly away, its speed would be drastically reduced. It would be completely unable to reach top speed, let alone perform a Space Jump.

And if he abandoned his ship to flee on his own, he would surely be caught, since the Magic Cube’s damage was far less severe than his vessel’s.

’The key is that monster... What is that thing!’

Balrog looked at Mr. Ao’s body, which was busily dismantling the ship. He couldn’t sense any life force or energy fluctuations from this monster, but the strength it displayed terrified him.

Its physical power was so immense that it made even him, a member of the Dou Race, feel utterly inferior.

’It seems to be a puppet.’

Balrog didn’t know that Mr. Ao’s body would lose its power source—and thus its combat effectiveness—if it left Zexing. Otherwise, he would have fled the planet without a second thought.

’From the looks of it, continuing to flee seems pointless.’

’The ship is too damaged; I’m doomed if I try to run. But if I stay and fight... the odds of winning don’t seem too bad.’

’Right now, apart from this puppet, there’s nothing else here that can threaten me.’

’A puppet with nothing but physical strength and no corresponding skills... how much power can it really wield?’

’The others are just small fry; they pose no threat. Besides, I still have two 9th-order Divine Artifacts...’

After a moment of deliberation, Balrog finally decided to stop running. He left his spaceship to face his enemy.

He immediately stored his spaceship away to prevent it from sustaining any more damage.

Seeing Balrog finally appear, Su Ze immediately sent a telepathic message telling Mr. Ya to pilot the Magic Cube and pull back. He also shrank the range of the Forbidden Demon Domain, allowing the Magic Cube to fly outside its perimeter.

However, the battlefield for Balrog and Mr. Ao’s body remained enveloped by the Forbidden Demon Domain.

Although his previous experience fighting him told Su Ze that the Forbidden Demon Domain couldn’t completely restrict Balrog, it still had some effect.

Or rather, Balrog could only break the domain’s restrictions when he used his two 9th-order Divine Artifacts.

Furthermore, the Forbidden Demon Domain had no restrictive effect on Mr. Ao’s body. As a corpse, Mr. Ao’s body possessed only physical power.

Thus, the Forbidden Demon Domain could weaken his enemy without affecting his own asset. It was a situation with all pros and no cons.

Su Ze controlled Mr. Ao’s body, sending a punch blasting toward Balrog. Space itself instantly shattered, and the surrounding thousands of miles were reduced to a vacuum.

If not for Die protecting the surface of Zexing with her dream power, the ground would have surely split apart and everything on the surface would have been destroyed.

The attacks of Mr. Ao’s body were just that simple and unadorned—basic punches and kicks. Yet, every strike held the power to shatter the heavens and sunder the earth.

Balrog instantly ignited his battle rage to empower himself, meeting Mr. Ao’s attack with the very physique his Dou Race was so proud of.

The two fists collided. Like an earthenware pot, Balrog’s fist cracked and shattered, the fragmentation spreading up his arm.

"You were hiding your strength!"

Greatly alarmed, Balrog hurriedly activated the Divine Artifact belt at his waist. A metallic sheen covered his entire body, finally halting the spread of the cracks.

’Only after clashing with it did he realize this puppet’s power was far greater than he had imagined!’

’And the crucial part isn’t even its strength, but its durability! This puppet is just too tough!’

Force is reciprocal; when two powerful forces collide, the tougher side naturally has the advantage.

From that single punch, Balrog’s fist and even his arm had shattered, yet Mr. Ao’s body was completely unscathed.

Hidden in the shadows, Su Ze used dream power to conceal his presence, remaining undetected by Balrog for the time being. He watched Balrog like a viper, waiting for the right moment to strike.

Balrog was right. Mr. Ao’s body had indeed been holding back at the start.

When Su Ze had been using Mr. Ao’s body to tear apart the spaceship, he had held back for fear of scaring Balrog into fleeing.

Now that Balrog was out of the ship, he unleashed its full power, injuring him with a single punch.

Mr. Ao’s body closed the distance again. Balrog hastily repaired his injuries, daring to trade a few more head-on blows with Mr. Ao only by relying on the Steel Body granted by his Divine Artifact belt.

The result, however, was his complete suppression.

The longer they fought, the more terrified Balrog became.

’This puppet is too strong!’

His Dou Race was famous for its physical prowess, and he had even augmented his body with a 9th-order Divine Artifact. Yet, he was completely overwhelmed in terms of both strength and durability!

What he didn’t know was that this was the body of a top-tier Ancestral God. What was a mere 9th-order Divine Artifact in comparison?

Its very level of existence suppressed 9th-order Divine Artifacts and Sun Gods alike.

Against a Sun God skilled in other forms of attack, Mr. Ao’s body might have been countered. But against a Dou Race Sun God who specialized in close-quarters combat, it was an absolute hard counter.

The longer Balrog fought, the more frustrated and powerless he felt. Yet he couldn’t escape, completely tied down by Mr. Ao’s body.

Finally, a punch from Mr. Ao’s body pierced through Balrog’s chest, shattering his metallic flesh.

The Steel Body, augmented by a 9th-order Divine Artifact, had been shattered by sheer, overwhelming force!

Horrified, Balrog once again used the Divine Artifact on his ring, unleashing a Dimension Slash at Mr. Ao’s body.

It was a dual-combination skill: a Spatial Slash combined with Spatial Exile.

But when the Spatial Slash landed on Mr. Ao’s body, it was like a mere tickle. The body was completely unharmed!

The surrounding spatial rifts constantly exerted a suction force, trying to pull Mr. Ao into the Other Dimension Space.

But Mr. Ao remained as immovable as a mountain. He even threw a punch at one of the rifts, directly shattering the tear in space that connected to the Other Dimension!
