I am the Clone of a Death Row Inmate
Chapter 619 - 357: God-level Material
Nacho melted into shadow to escape, but Su Ze’s hand was impossibly fast, moving quicker than the shadow itself to snatch Nacho from within.
This was a god-level physical body. It wasn’t just its strength that was powerful; its speed was also unrivaled.
Holding Nacho as if he were a dead dog, Su Ze couldn’t be bothered with idle chatter. He simply reached out and crushed his head.
Immediately after, he shattered Nacho’s body with a single punch.
Not even bones remained.
The leader of the Filth Earth Organization, who had run rampant on Blue Star for two or three hundred years, died just like that at Su Ze’s hands.
Su Ze remained completely unfazed. To him, he had simply eliminated another potential threat.
With Nacho dead, the Filth Earth Organization would no longer be a threat.
At this point, the two major threats, the Pope and Nacho, had both been dealt with. Su Ze could now leave Blue Star for Zexing with some peace of mind.
After confirming Nacho was well and truly dead, Su Ze walked over to Pulamon. He materialized a Regeneration Fruit and gave it to Pulamon to eat.
In an instant, Pulamon slowly regained consciousness. Seeing Su Ze, he scrambled to his feet.
Su Ze picked up the shattered core of the Shadow Palace from the ground. He discovered that the obsidian-like core was actually absorbing the shadow energy within the Shadow Abyss to heal itself; the cracks he had made were rapidly mending.
’This is quite a nice treasure.’
With Nacho dead, the Shadow Palace was now ownerless. He probed it with his Spiritual Power and discovered an internal space that stored a great number of items.
This space was much larger than the space in storage items made from Qiankun Wood Fruit.
Inside the Shadow Palace’s space was Nacho’s lifetime collection: countless high-level Evolution Items.
To his surprise, Su Ze sensed upgrade materials suitable for him inside!
This was a pleasant surprise.
Su Ze was about to attempt his seventh evolution and was in dire need of suitable upgrade materials.
He injected his evolution power into the Shadow Palace and immediately got a rough grasp of the item’s uses.
With a thought, a powerful suction force emerged from the core of the Shadow Palace, drawing in a vast amount of shadow energy from the Shadow Abyss.
The originally shattered Shadow Palace quickly repaired itself until it was as good as new. Its external shadow energy was also replenished, and it rapidly re-formed into the shape of a palace.
However, the shadow energy in this Shadow Abyss seemed inexhaustible, constantly regenerating.
Su Ze thought for a moment. He was somewhat interested in the Shadow Palace.
To be precise, this thing wasn’t actually called the Shadow Palace. That was just Nacho’s preference, shaping the external shadow energy into the form of a palace.
With a mere thought, the shadow energy outside the core squirmed and morphed. It changed from a palace into a fine steed—a shadow horse—then into a shadow thatched hut, a shadow motorcycle, a shadow kiddie ride...
Its form changed with his every thought.
Only the core remained constant: an obsidian-like nucleus containing an internal space that could absorb shadow energy.
Su Ze studied it for a while and confirmed it wasn’t a Wondrous Item, even though it could unleash power equivalent to a sixth-tier Wondrous Item.
Compared to a Wondrous Item, it was more like some kind of material, a type of ore.
’A raw material, unprocessed, can unleash the power of a sixth-tier Wondrous Item. If it were forged and refined, just how powerful would it become?’
Su Ze understood that this ore was far more than a simple sixth-tier material.
’Could it be that Blue Star has produced an evolution material that surpasses the sixth tier?’
He didn’t know the ore’s name or grade, but the Pope might. Su Ze planned to ask the Pope the next time he saw him.
For now, he decided to call this ore "Shadow Ore."
Su Ze called Mr. Ya over and had him scout the area around the Shadow Abyss.
The shadow energy within the Shadow Abyss was endless; it must have a source. Perhaps they could find more Shadow Ore.
Mr. Ya tunneled through the earth and circled the area around the Shadow Abyss, and soon made a discovery.
Sure enough, he discovered another large chunk of Shadow Ore underground!
But Mr. Ya didn’t dare get close. The moment he approached, he felt a sense of crisis, as if he would be devoured by the shadow energy emanating from the Shadow Ore. An incredibly dense, almost solid mass of shadow energy coiled around the ore.
To collect the ore, one had to enter that mass of shadow energy.
Su Ze followed Mr. Ya to the location of the Shadow Ore. He looked at the person-sized chunk of Shadow Ore ahead, which was wreathed in shadow energy as thick and indelible as ink.
Anyone who entered the range of this high-quality shadow energy would indeed likely be devoured by it. This was probably why Nacho had only managed to collect a small piece of Shadow Ore.
It wasn’t that he didn’t want more, but that he couldn’t get it. He had only been able to barely collect that small piece because he himself wielded shadow powers. An ordinary Legendary-rank expert probably couldn’t even get close enough to touch it.
Su Ze tried to approach, reaching his hand into the dense shadow energy ahead.
Instantly, his own shadow was devoured by the energy. The dense, black energy tried to penetrate his skin and burrow into his flesh.
Fortunately, his god-level physical body successfully resisted the energy’s corrosion.
However, this was only because the energy was in an un-directed state, with no active intent to attack. Its devouring nature was merely a characteristic of the energy itself.
If someone were controlling this energy to attack, its power would be several orders of magnitude higher.
Su Ze successfully pushed through the shadow energy and touched the Shadow Ore within.
He took the entire piece of Shadow Ore into the space of the Creation Dream Butterfly Eye, planning to transfer it to the Magic Cube later.
As the Shadow Ore was taken away, the shadow energy in the Shadow Abyss instantly thinned out considerably.
Su Ze and Mr. Ya returned to the surface, where Pulamon was already waiting for them.
As for how to deal with Pulamon, Su Ze had thought it over carefully and finally decided to leave him on Blue Star.
The effects of the Blood and Flesh Parasite would not weaken with distance. As long as Pulamon’s power did not surpass Su Ze’s, he would never be able to escape Su Ze’s control.
The reason he was leaving Pulamon on Blue Star was to control the Filth Earth Organization.
It wasn’t that Su Ze hadn’t considered wiping out the Filth Earth Organization.
He could destroy the Filth Earth Organization, but the Defilers were endless. Even if he killed every Defiler on Blue Star, new ones would just be born in the future.
Rather than do that, it was better to bring the Defilers as a group under his own control.
He planned to have Pulamon remain on Blue Star and act as the leader of the Filth Earth Organization.
With Nacho dead, Pulamon was now the most powerful Defiler on Blue Star and could easily control the entire Filth Earth Organization.
Under Pulamon’s control, the Filth Earth Organization would at least not do anything too outrageous. Even if dangerous signs emerged, they could be stamped out immediately.
For example, if a Defiler appeared who was on the verge of completing their sixth evolution, Pulamon would secretly eliminate them.
This way, the future development of the Defilers on Blue Star would be limited, and they wouldn’t be able to produce any powerful experts.
At least until Pulamon died, the Defilers would find it hard to gain any real power and would not pose a threat.
Furthermore, when the Nian Race made their comeback in the future, Pulamon could even lead the Filth Earth Organization to help out Lin Hua Continent.
