Chapter 577 - 343: Completing the Puzzle, Part 3

It was Frank Stu and Craig Wall.

Su Ze had no patience for the two, but he couldn’t just ignore them either. He left the ship, transformed into his strongest combat form, and lunged at them.

"Mr. Lin Luo..." Frank was startled. He had long suspected there was something off about Lin Luo’s identity, but he never expected the man to attack without saying a single word.

Su Ze didn’t say a word to either of them. He simply grabbed them, gave them a sound beating, and threw them into the ship’s brig.

Not counting Baliss, who had already kicked the bucket, he now had four Supremes locked up in his ship’s brig.

Once that was done, Su Ze took the four puzzle pieces and headed straight inside the fourth inheritance point.

He couldn’t wait to find out what treasures the inner inheritance held.

A few minutes later, Su Ze walked out of the fourth inheritance point.

Seeing the frustrated look on Su Ze’s face, Mr. Ya asked, puzzled, "Boss, what’s wrong?"

"The inner inheritance, just like the outer one, requires a trial. And the first condition for that trial is that you have to be Legendary-level."

Su Ze said helplessly.

He had eagerly entered the inner Inheritance Space and placed the four puzzle pieces into the grooves on the portal, only to activate the inheritance trial.

But as it turned out, he didn’t even meet the basic requirements and was immediately disqualified.

He had no choice but to retrieve the four puzzle pieces and come back out.

"It’s alright, Boss. Your sixth evolution should be coming up soon, right?"

Su Ze nodded. He wasn’t too disappointed. Since even the outer inheritance required one to be Legendary-level, it was only logical that the inner one had the same requirement.

He just needed to upgrade his last Tier-4 skill, Furious Waves, and he would complete his sixth evolution. Coming back for the inner inheritance trial after that wouldn’t be a problem.

"Let’s go. We’re heading back to the Magic Cube. I need to have a talk with those two, and after that, we’re returning to Lin Hua Continent."

Back on the Magic Cube, Su Ze went to speak with Frank and Craig, while Mr. Ya prepared to absorb the Star God-level Bloodline Crystal in his possession.

Su Ze split himself in two, speaking with Frank and Craig simultaneously.

"Should I call you Lin Luo, or Su Ze?" Frank asked as Su Ze entered.

He had already investigated Su Ze’s true identity and knew he was a once-in-a-generation genius.

But it was only after he and Craig had joined forces and were still easily captured by Su Ze that he truly understood how terrifying this genius was.

By now, Frank had lost all will to resist.

Su Ze wasn’t surprised that Frank knew his identity. He said, "I spoke with Altos before. I’m very interested in the early history of your three families, but he didn’t know much. I was wondering if you could add anything..."

The same conversation was taking place in the brig where Craig was being held.

As the Clan Leaders of their respective families, their knowledge was far more detailed and comprehensive.

A moment later, Su Ze had obtained some new information from them.

When the mysterious Human Race expert had given the three puzzle pieces to their ancestors, he never actually forbade their descendants from taking treasures from the Inheritance Treasure Vault. In fact, he even permitted them to try and claim the inner inheritance.

It seemed the mysterious expert didn’t place much value on the items within the Inheritance Treasure Vault.

However, he did leave their ancestors with two tasks.

First, if someone collected the other three puzzle pieces, the three families were to offer up the fourth. If someone then obtained the inner inheritance, the three families were to pledge their allegiance to the inheritor and serve them faithfully.

Second, they were required to cultivate as many Legendary-level experts as possible and send them away from Blue Star via the outer inheritance. These experts didn’t even have to be from the three families; any other reliable Legendary-level expert would suffice.

However, this ancestral instruction, passed down a thousand years ago, was something the current Clan Leaders of the three families merely paid lip service to, not taking it seriously at all.

Su Ze didn’t believe for a second that if he’d shown up with three puzzle pieces but without enough power, the three families would have just obediently handed over the fourth. Their first thought would have undoubtedly been to snatch the three pieces from his hands. And without enough power, even if he did obtain the inner inheritance, they would never have submitted to him.

As for the second task, it seemed the mysterious expert wanted to transport as many Legendary-level experts with godhood potential as possible to a certain location.

The question was, where were they transported to after accepting the outer inheritance?

In the past thousand years, the three families had only sent three Legendary-level experts. Including Lin Hua’s Legend, whom Su Ze knew about, that was four people at most.

He wondered if anyone else had left Blue Star through the outer inheritance.

"It is said," Frank added suddenly, "that our mysterious predecessor once casually mentioned that sending more people over was for the purpose of ’pioneering’."

"Pioneering?" Su Ze paused, dozens of possibilities flashing through his mind.

"Su Ze, how do you plan to deal with us? Or, to put it another way, what do you want?" Frank asked.

Su Ze looked at him and asked, "Do you know that aliens exist?"

Frank was taken aback for a moment, then said, "I’m sure they exist. This mysterious inheritance alone doesn’t feel like something anyone from Blue Star could have built."

"I’m not talking about humans from other planets. I mean... other races. Other species."

"What do you mean?"

So Su Ze began his explanation, starting with the Divine Dice. He described the existence of the Nian Race and the threat the Human Race on Blue Star now faced.

Frank was left dumbfounded.

In the adjacent cell, so was Craig.

They felt like Su Ze had to be joking. But then they thought about his identity, about his status on Lin Hua Continent... it was entirely possible he had access to information they did not.

Su Ze then presented some evidence, specifically chat logs from the Blue Star Party’s upper echelon. This took them from a state of skepticism to one of complete belief.

’Su Ze might joke with them, but the leaders of the Blue Star Party—the people at the very pinnacle of power on Lin Hua Continent—would never make a joke like this.’

’They could choose not to believe Su Ze, but they couldn’t possibly doubt Mr. Ke, Chen Suifeng, and the others.’

For a moment, both men felt as if their entire worldview had been shattered.

’Their three families were still scheming and fighting over a single puzzle piece, while the people on Lin Hua Continent were already at war with aliens!’

’And according to Su Ze, it wasn’t just Lin Hua Continent—even the Snowfield and Flame Emperor Continents had already fallen under the control of the Nian Race.’

’Their Western Continent was far away, but could it really remain untouched and stay out of it?’

Su Ze didn’t give them much time to digest the news. With a SLAP, he tossed the four puzzle pieces onto the table, casually produced Baliss’s head to go with them, and asked:

"So, do you plan to honor your ancestral instructions?"

"We will! We will!"

The two men nodded frantically. As if they had any other choice.
