Chapter 871: Medicine

The crystal lanterns along the eastern wing burned low, their pale light rippling across the vaulted ceiling.

Walking through the hall, Zhao Tian looked around, and he finally stopped in front of a room.

Smiling, he raised his hand and knocked on the door.

A second later, he heard a woman's voice from the inside "Who?"

"Zhao Tian."

He suddenly heard something falling inside the room along with her hurried footsteps, and a few seconds later, the door opened.

Looking at the beautiful green-haired woman, he smiled gently "Hello, Eira."

While Eira just gave him a blank look "What do you want now?"

Keeping his smile, he spoke "Can I come inside for a little chat?"

Letting out a long-suffering sigh, she moved out of the way and he entered in.

As he entered in, he glanced around at the spacious room with sitting space, a bed, and closets.

Before she could close the door, he turned and slapped her ass, making her gasp.

"Haangh..." She quickly turned around and glared at him "You basta- Honoured One... stop doing that."

With a chuckle, he asked in a teasing tone "Is it still hurting? I thought you would have applied some medicine."

Her lips twitched in frustration and embarassment as she closed the door properly "How can I go and ask the Elder Healers... for medicine? What can I say? Someone slapped my ass cheeks, and they're bright red now?"

She folded her arms beneath her breasts "And I don't know what kind of hands you have; it's still burning..."

Upon hearing this, he smiled at her "Then let me help you, I happen to have the perfect medicine."

She frowned and looked at him suspiciously "...You have medicine? I don't believe you. You are a perv-"

Remembering the beatings on her ass, she stopped herself and sighed "Never mind."

"Oh, come on, I do have medicine to treat you."

As he spoke, he slowly walked to her "My hands are the medicine."

Looking at him walking towards her, she stepped back "Wait.. no, y-you will slap my ass again."

As his hands slid around her waist, he pulled her flush against him, and she could feel the warmth of his chest against her.

Zhao Tian dipped his head as his brushed the shell of her ear. "I promised to soothe it, didn't I?" he murmured.

His hands settled on her back and then slid lower until his palms cupped the burning curves of her ass beneath her robe.

With that, he used his light elemental energy to heal her burns.

The heat of his touch seeped through the silk, drawing a soft, involuntary sigh from her lips.

Feeling the pain slowly disappearing, Eira's fingers curled against his robes, caught between pushing him away and clinging tighter.

"Haa..."

Her forehead rested against his collarbone as her green hair spilled over his shoulder.

Smiling, he whispered "How is it?"

Eira's gaze trembled, and she slowly closed her eyes "Feeling better, k-keep going..."

He nodded and gently squeezed her ass buns, spreading them as he applied light elemental.

His fingers squeezed the tender flesh tightly, making sure his 'healing' reached every inch of her skin.

Her hips swayed involuntarily, pressing back into his touch, seeking more of that gentle, healing caress.

Zhao Tian obliged, kneading slowly as his thumbs swept in tender arcs, making the light elemental pulse softly with each stroke.

When the glow dimmed and the pain is finally gone, he rested his hands on her hips "There, all gone."

She let out a soft exhale, her lashes trembling against her cheek "Mhm..."

She stayed in his arms for a while, relieved of the burning pain in her ass.

Zhao Tian brushed a stray strand of green hair from her cheek with the back of his fingers. "Better?"

She nodded once, "…Yes. Much better."

A faint smile curved his lips. "Good."

A bit later, he retracted his arms and she leaned against the door.

She opened her eyes and looked at him "Well, Thank you... even though you are the reason for my pain."

With a smile, he spoke "Now that you are feeling better, come on, let's go."

Huh? She looked up at him in confusion "Where?"

"Take me to that lake we met yesterday, come on."

Upon hearing this, she frowned slightly, but then she sighed "Ok, let's go. You are the Honoured One... and I can't refuse you."

"If I don't obey you, my mom will scold me."

Dashing through the evening air, Zhao Tian glanced around at the surroundings and muttered "This star is really beautiful..."

Eira, who was flying beside him, smiled "Of course, our star is the most beautiful star in the whole cluster of High Stars."

They soon reached the Lirien lake from earlier and stepped on the meadow.

Zhao Tian rolled his shoulders, stretched his arms high above his head, and let out a satisfied sigh.

"Alright," he said, before turning to her "Strip."

Eira froze mid-step and her pointed ears flicked upright. "W-what did you just say?"

Zhao Tian was already loosening the silver sash at his waist and his outer robe slid from his shoulders "Let's take a bath,"

Eira's mouth opened, closed, and opened again. "You- what? what the hell?"

He let the inner robe fall, leaving him in nothing but loose white trousers that hung low on his hips. "What's the problem? I've already seen you completely naked. Nothing left to hide."

Her cheeks burned in embarassment "That was different!" she hissed, pointing her finger at him. "I was trying to kill you then!"

Zhao Tian laughed and stretched his muscles "Yeah, whatever... come join me."

With that, he rushed forward and dived deep into the lake, splattering the water.
