The elf woman's emerald eyes widened as she noticed Zhao Tian's presence on the shore of Lirien Lake.

Her gaze shook in horror looking at the man, his long white hair faintly rustling in the cool night air.

The moonlight illuminated her face, highlighting the sharp angles of her cheekbones and the sudden tension in her jaw. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ

Her hands froze mid-motion, still holding her dripping green hair, as her gaze darted over him.

The water continued to cascade down her slender body, tracing the curve of her collarbone, slipping over the gentle swell of her breasts, before dripping into the lake below.

Her lips parted with a sharp intake of breath, breaking the silence, and her eyes narrowed "Who are you?"

"No man can survive here. The Elven Star's yin energy would unravel your body before you cross the barrier. How did you breach it?"

Her words were sharp and were laced with a growing anger.

Zhao Tian opened his mouth to respond, but before he could utter a word, her hand shot downward, plunging into the water.

The lake surged briefly, and from its depths, she pulled out a spear with its shaft carved from pale wood and its tip glinting with a crystalline edge that pulsed with yin energy.

Water streamed from the weapon as she raised it.

"You will answer!" she uttered as she lunged forward.

*swoosh* The water parted around her thighs as she surged toward the shore, her spear thrusting toward Zhao Tian's chest with lethal precision.

The air crackled with the force of her attack as the spear's tip trailed a faint arc of silver light.

Zhao Tian's eyes flickered with mild surprise, but his body moved instinctively, sidestepping the strike with a fluid grace.

The spear's tip grazed the edge of his robe, slicing through the fabric but missing his skin entirely.

He stepped back onto the smooth stone, "I'd rather talk than fight," he muttered in a calm voice, though it carried a faint undercurrent of amusement.

She didn't pause and her anger flared at his casual dodge. "Talk?" she hissed, her green hair whipping around her as she spun.

"You trespass on sacred ground, defy the Star's barrier, and you expect to talk?"

He dodged to the side as her spear sliced past his shoulder, ducked under a sweeping arc aimed at his head, and stepped back as the weapon grazed the air where he was standing moments before.

"Stop dodging and answer me!" she growled in frustration and thrust again, this time aiming low as the spear's tip sliced toward his legs.

Zhao Tian shifted, twisting his body just enough to let the weapon pass harmlessly by.

"I'm trying. But you're not giving me much of a chance." He muttered, dodging another strike.

Her eyes blazed and she gripped the spear tighter, "Lies!" she yelled as she lunged again, this time feinting high before sweeping the spear low in a vicious arc.

Water trailed from her body, shimmering in the moonlight as she moved, her breasts swaying slightly with the force of her attack, "No man can withstand the Star's yin. You're an intruder, a defiler, or worse... a thief of our secrets."

Zhao Tian tilted his head, dodging the low sweep with a single step, "A thief?" he uttered in a dry, humorous voice.

"I'm flattered you think I'm that ambitious." He stepped to the side again as the spear's tip grazed the air inches from his chest.

"You're strong and skilled. But you're assuming too much."

Water still dripped from her hair, pooling at her feet in the grass, "Assuming?"

"I assume nothing. The barrier is unbreakable. The yin would burn any man to ash. Yet here you stand, mocking me with your presence. I swear by the star, I will end you..."

The lake behind her churned, and the water rolled up.

Water rose in spiraling tendrils, shimmering with yin energy "You will not mock the Star's sanctity," she muttered, thrusting her spear upward.

The lake responded as a massive column of water erupting from its center, twisting into a serpentine shape that loomed over Zhao Tian.

The water dragon's eyes glowed with the same intensity as hers, and with a flick of her wrist, she sent it surging toward him with its jaws wide open.

Zhao Tian's eyes narrowed slightly, and with a subtle shift of his weight, he stepped to the side as the water dragon crashed into the ground where he'd stood, sending a spray of glowing droplets scattering across the grass.

The woman spun her spear, and the water around her surged again, this time forming a dozen shimmering orbs, each one of them pulsing with dense yin energy.

With a sharp gesture, she sent them hurtling toward him with their surfaces rippling with arcs of silver lightning.

Zhao Tian tilted his head, and as the orbs closed in, a soft pulse of energy emanated from him, and the orbs veered off course, exploding harmlessly against the lake's surface in a cascade of glowing spray.

"Stop this..." Zhao Tian stepped forward, dodging another spear thrust as she lunged again.

The water trailing from her body shimmered with each motion, and her breasts swayed slightly as she spun, droplets drifting from her red nipples.

"Silence!" she yelled and slammed her spear into the ground.

The lake responded with a deafening roar as a massive wave rose behind her, towering over the shore like a wall.

The wave pulsed with yin energy, and within it, countless spears of water formed, aimed directly at Zhao Tian.

*WOOOSSHHH*

With a breath, she thrust her spear forward, and the wave surged as the water spears launched toward him in a relentless barrage.

Zhao Tian's eyes flickered, and he stepped lightly, his body dodging through the onslaught of spears.

Each water spear missed him by inches, some grazing his robes but never touching his skin.

A blue glint passed through his eyes, and a faint shimmer of energy pulsed outward, deflecting the remaining spears into the ground, where they exploded into bursts of glowing mist.

The meadow was now drenched, with the grass glistening under the moonlight, but Zhao Tian stood dry and his robes were barely ruffled.
