Chapter 1196: Chapter 93: Goddess Alliance, Strike! (Part 2)
Moreover, this master seems to have been in contact with the Church of the Father of Oaks recently.
Duncan took the intelligence and, upon reading it, his face instantly darkened. A strong killing intent startled even Eilistraee. It’s no wonder he brutally fought through the Bottomless Abyss to save the Goddess of Wealth and the Aici Celestial Race. Even Eilistraee felt at that moment that her incarnation couldn’t match Duncan and would likely need the power of the Divine Country.
Ascender.
A very powerful Ascender.
If it weren’t for the lack of Divine Format, Duncan’s power might not be weaker than that of much Weak Divine Power.
Duncan has been doing fairly well in the Natural camp lately, but it’s unnecessary to talk about it too much because he has the favor of Essence, and anything related to Essence in the Natural camp is easy to form connections with. In this land, the Essence belongs to the corner leftovers, while the core of the Natural Pantheon is still in the camp of the Father of Oaks.
"What happened?" Eilistraee could peek, but there was no need.
Duncan was silent for a moment, then handed the intelligence to the Gloomy Maiden in front of him and said solemnly, "Something happened in Tiffandon."
"The Scantlin Association has attacked Tiffandon."
"The Joy Church has suffered heavy losses, and many innocent people have died."
This is nothing short of a blatant slap in the face!
Duncan had just assured Eilistraee in front of him by patting his chest, claiming there were strong allies around Sambia, yet Tiffandon was immediately attacked.
This is a critical crossroads leading to Sergenut, an important node on the Gold Trade Route.
How can this ensure the safe arrival of the Zor Elf exiles?
To Duncan’s surprise, however, after the Gloomy Maiden saw the contents within, her expression changed somewhat, and she seemed to trust Duncan a bit more. She softly said, "I can provide some help."
"I also have followers among the Harpists."
"And one of the Seven Sisters of the Northern Land, Kuilu-Viladoron, is a chosen one of both myself and Mystra."
Duncan pondered for a moment, then shook his head and said, "No need."
"I will handle this matter personally."
"The most important thing for the lady now is to properly settle these Zor Elves."
"The Spider Queen has suddenly become silent."
"Now is the best time to shelter other kind-hearted Zors on their escape."
The Dark Sun Shirek has begun to act.
As expected, he is planning to expand the Church while compiling the ’Scripture of Shirek’. This opponent is somewhat rogue. He’s simply unbeatable right now.
If He doesn’t go crazy Himself, it would take at least two or three instances of Mighty Divine Power to contend with Him.
"If I were a bit more ruthless."
"I’d let Eilistraee face Shirek. She definitely can’t win, and if she is severely injured by Shirek, the Main Elf God would likely step in."
"Shirek against Corellon would gain him no advantage."
The Holy Mother can be utilized.
Eilistraee might seem weak in appearance, but she has never been cowardly and will genuinely stand up if needed.
If it provokes the intervention of the Main Elf God, not just Shirek, even the God of Gods Ayo might not suppress him securely, given that Corellon’s power can be said to be unfathomable.
During the outbreak of the Saint’s Calamity.
Ancient God-level beings were barely affected, such as the Mother Earth and the Father of Oaks. The Pantheon of Elves didn’t care much for Ayo, while the Human Pantheon was more significantly impacted.
"Forget it."
"I just finished dealing with Rose; although She might not know, it’s not appropriate to make contact at this time."
Duncan reconsidered and gave up.
Exploitation will leave traces.
The Main Elf God is likely to perceive it, but Eilistraee has connections with the Harpists, and the Harpists have been fighting with the Scantlin Association for so long that possibly someday they’ll confront Shirek.
Dark Sun?
If Shirek can be the Dark Sun, I can be the Dark Monarch of this land.
Eilistraee looked at Duncan’s refusal and was slightly moved by his goodwill. She indeed had many things to deal with now, especially since the Spider Queen’s intentions were unclear, and her own brother was plotting something, so she had to be more cautious.
Velen has been trying to ally with the Surface Elves recently, but due to mutual distrust, nothing was achieved, failing before any agreement could be reached.
Velen really isn’t good at anything.
Inciting rebellion got suppressed by the Zor Matriarchs. Negotiation with the Surface Elves ended in failure, and wanting to become the Main God of the Zor, but his core Divine Position is theft. Is theft something that can be a Main God?
Velen actually wants to ’steal’ the dominion of Spider Queen Rose.
Can it be stolen?
The three lines Duncan laid down have been successfully connected through the Bottomless Abyss, allowing the Undead Monarch Ocus to act directly. Eilistraee’s side is almost sorted with the Harpists and other allies, potentially splitting Zor society to some extent.
But the lines arranged over at Velen’s side all broke; either failed or were suppressed.
Velen tried to recruit allies. He went to find the Ancient Eye, Ganard, the god of Oozes. Can this thing collaborate?
Ganard is about to be removed from the Zor Pantheon.
He instigated a male Zor uprising, and of the dozen cities, only one or two succeeded, while the others were brutally suppressed by the Zor Matriarchs, with the followers sacrificed to Rose in a blood offering, causing the power of the Pitfall Weave to increase significantly.
He wanted to steal the power of Spider Queen Rose but didn’t dare go to the spider nest of the Pitfall Weave. Even though Duncan killed Xivintam, this guy still didn’t act.
Velen never took action.
When Spider Queen Rose’s ascension is complete, it will be his turn to be beaten and dealt with.
Simply put.
Velen lacks the courage for a do-or-die situation and doesn’t have the strength either.
