Chapter 1195: Chapter 93: Goddess Alliance, Strike!

Elysiis is not a resolute and decisive divine spirit.

She possesses many characteristics of the Holy Mother’s persona, such as being conflicted, anxious, and desirous of perfection. Elysiis’ relationships with other divine spirits are rather average, with her recent allies being Suren and Mystra, along with a few members of the elven pantheon, though only a select few.

Her greatest advantage lies in her patron, the Elven Main God. Consider her a genuinely kind and naive second-generation goddess from a wealthy family.

Allies, territory, strong support.

Elysiis has wandered for many years, yet this is the first time she encountered someone proactively offering help, and surprisingly, it was a mortal, a human.

In the conspiracy orchestrated by Spider Queen Rose against the elven pantheon, Elysiis nearly shot her father, the Elven Main God Corellon, with an arrow. Since then, the Gloomy Maiden swore never to use ranged weapons again (though she doesn’t demand her followers to do the same).

Although the arrow was a misfire caused by Rose’s trickery, Elysiis insisted on being exiled alongside her mother and brothers from the realm of Arvandor, as she foresaw that these dark elves needed a beacon to guide them back to goodness.

From these deeds, one can glean Elysiis’ character. As a top-notch archer, she is closely bound to the moon and hunting, yet she swore never to use a bow again.

As for voluntarily being exiled, it’s nothing remarkable; she has embarked on many Holy Mother-like missions.

"I..." Elysiis was still hesitating.

Firstly, she currently lacks the ability to fully trust the man in front of her. He is a human, not an elf, and has no apparent reason to help her. Secondly, she doesn’t know what Duncan wants. If his intent is solely for her, it’s bearable, as she noticed a hint of desire in Duncan’s eyes. But if he plans to exploit these fleeing Zor Elves, it would be utterly unacceptable for her.

Elysiis is willing to take risks and sacrifice her interests, but she holds no reservations when it comes to the fleeing Zor Elves.

The future.

Even if Elysiis were to fall or die, due to the centuries of ceaseless worship and rituals by these fleeing Zor Elves, they managed to resurrect her in the fairy wilderness.

Other divine spirits’ resurrections seem like cheats. Yet after her death, the church maintains astonishing cohesion over a century, relying on the power of faith to resurrect a divine spirit from even a sliver of divinity, highlighting the profound devotion of her believers.

Since Wealth Goddess Waukeen’s disappearance a few years ago, her church has frayed apart, whereas Elysiis can die for over a century, and her church remains united.

Note that after a divine spirit falls, they cannot grant priests or clergy divine techniques, yet those priests do not shift their faith or depart.

True Holy Mother charisma, undeniably.

Duncan looked at the hesitant Elysiis before him, opting to retreat by advancing: "If the Silver-haired Lady is uncertain, she can take her time to think about it."

"My promise remains valid."

Duncan disinterestedly turned away from the hesitant Elysiis, focusing on admiring her beautiful divine position. Although naked in appearance, key points were unseen, yet under the moonlight-like silver hair, ample contours were visible, especially her moon-like beauty, slightly more luscious compared to other elves, true to her divine position of ’beauty.’

Despite Duncan’s slightly aggressive gaze, Elysiis did not exhibit any anger. She remained calm and confident, though somewhat uneasy, considering wearing a skirt next time for her appearance.

If you’re bold enough to expose, I’m bold enough to look.

Duncan leisurely admired, marveling inch by inch at the perfect bodily proportions of Elysiis. Evidently, mastering the divine position of beauty necessitates exceptionally good looks.

But handsomeness doesn’t necessitate such trouble, as handsomeness is more of a feeling, like how I perceive everyone present as handsome.

At that moment.

A sound of birds skimming through the air arose.

The Gloomy Maiden Elysiis startledly gazed upwards toward the distant directions, while Duncan also furrowed his brows, quickly turning toward another direction.

"Lord Duncan."

"An emergency message from Sergent," an owl spoke human words.

Enlightenment.

The work of a Druid.

A Druid can expend their soul power to enlighten plants and animals. Once enlightened, they’re akin to spirit monsters, imbued with intelligence, able to speak, morph; an adept Great Druid can easily reign as the master of vegetation, wildlife, and spirits.

Duncan is quite suited to be a Druid as well, for he grows stronger by killing, lacking no soul power, able to freely enlighten spirit monsters, and possessing a frenzy foundation.

However, it still doesn’t compare to the convenience of the Bottomless Abyss, as the abyssal blood pool is quite useful.

Demons emerge wildly skilled.

Though spirit monsters somewhat lack.

"The Fairy Queen of Wind Spear Hill owed me a favor, hence sent me a beast messenger," Duncan informed Elysiis beside him.

This owl has a challenge level of 5, and upon seeing Elysiis’ incarnation, it was incredibly astonished, behaving like a timid quail, its gaze toward Duncan full of admiration.

"Maybe incite the Fairy Queen to serve this lord?"

"Even a divine incarnation appears here," the owl named Luman quietly pondered.

Sprits are.

Generally weak combat-wise.

Living in the main material plane involves either embracing the elves or Druids, but as long as the patron is strong enough, others are also viable.
