Chapter 1193: Chapter 92: Persuading Eilistraee! (2)

Elis Tree naively wanted to escape from the Zor Elves and integrate into the local surface elf society.

How could that be possible?

"Trouble?"

Duncan’s voice carried an absolute confidence, calmly saying, "In that land, the thing I fear the least is trouble."

If only he didn’t cause trouble for others.

Base camp.

The Lady of Love, the Lady of Wealth, the Lady Joy, plus the foundation Duncan has laid and the network in the Comer Kingdom, who wouldn’t have the sense to cause trouble for him with the pull of Taimola, the Lady of Luck?

These fleeing Zor Elves will only increase in number.

Without a settlement, there’s no way they can last long.

"Taking in these Zor Elves can both gain favor with Elis Tree and be used to deal with the Dragon Worship Sect in the future."

"They are without support in the surface world."

"Unable to live with other elves, currently only I am willing to offer them a place of refuge."

"And here in Selgont, if Rose’s minions dare to come, it would be a death sentence."

Duncan’s plans were already well defined, since it’s near Selgont, close to the Kormanthor Forest, it must be utilized.

Upon hearing Duncan’s words, Lyranwe-Night Song was clearly somewhat swayed, but she couldn’t make the decision on such a big matter, and could only softly say, "I need to seek guidance from the goddess on this."

The upper echelons of the church couldn’t make the decision.

In such matters, only the Gloomy Maiden Elis Tree could make the call.

"No worries."

"You can take your time to consider," Duncan said with a smile.

There’s no rush.

Only once you hit walls everywhere or are refugees near the elves will you realize how crucial it is to have a place of your own.

Once they’ve come, they fall under Duncan’s control.

Rose’s corner needs digging out.

Elis Tree’s corner cannot be spared either.

But Elis Tree is naive, voluntarily exiled, someone you can morally bind whenever you wish, manipulate however you like.

She’s mixed in quite poorly indeed.

Unable to contend with the Spider Queen Rose in the Dark Realm, she can only hover on societal fringes, unwelcome in the elf pantheon on the surface; if she hadn’t recently mingled with the Silvermoon Alliance, she’d almost be like a wandering god, with her church constantly wandering around.

Of course, the Gloomy Maiden Elis Tree is always favored by the Main God of the elves.

That backing is quite robust.

Honestly, Duncan didn’t even know how to face the Main God of the elves, given his rather intricate relationship with Rose; didn’t even know what to call them, fellow travelers?

After Lyranwe-Night Song left, she immediately gathered other priestesses to discuss.

It wasn’t long.

A group of priestesses once again wearing very little clothes, gathered around a special Shen Kan to pray, seemingly reporting something to the goddess.

Duncan observed them in secret from a God’s perspective.

"They couldn’t have summoned Elis Tree’s incarnation, could they?" Duncan mused to himself.

Not sure how much time passed.

Suddenly, Duncan, who was feigning sleep, opened his eyes. Everyone around him was resting, the moon’s radiance fell like silvery threads, soothing their spirits while also protecting them, allowing them a good rest.

Divine Grace.

Elis Tree’s moonlight.

Without disturbing anyone, Duncan walked into the forest nearby, having already seen through the God’s perspective a stunningly beautiful naked woman under the moon.

——Gloomy Maiden - Elis Tree (Incarnation)!

Elis Tree’s incarnations were typically three-meter-tall naked female dark elves with smooth, tender skin and long silver hair cascading down to her ankles. Her long hair and the silver glow shimmering around her enveloped her entire body in a gentle, ever-changing beautiful veil.

Naked she may be, yet every part that shouldn’t be visible was completely obscured.

The Lady of Love Shunni also liked being naked, especially while frolicking by the Evergold Pool, yet never covered so thoroughly. It was Duncan’s first time discovering the shielding effect of moonlight was this potent.

"Thank you for extending your hand," a gentle female voice rang out.

A stream of silver moonlight cascaded down like flowing water, outlining Elis Tree’s graceful and lithe silhouette.

Her skin glimmered with the lustrous sheen of premium obsidian enveloping mother-of-pearl; under the night, it emitted a soft shimmer, as if the moonlight’s brilliance had congealed upon her form.

Her waterfall-like silver hair cascaded down to her waist, fluttering like satin with her light dance steps, interweaving with the surrounding starlight and moonlight into a misty halo, but frustratingly, no matter how the silver hair danced, it managed to obscure most of her fullness, leaving only a faintly discernible outline.

The beautiful veil formed by moonlight was indeed a thin gauze draped over her, making everything one wants to see unclear.

Gloomy Maiden, Weak Divine Power.

But the divine positions of Elis Tree were numerous, with core positions in song, beauty, dance, swordsmanship, hunting, and moonlight, while core domain laws included chaos, kindness, elves, the moon, charm, portals, among others.

Combined, these divine positions weren’t particularly strong, yet should surely count for more than mere weak divine power.

"A modest gesture."

Duncan’s expression was calm, the kind of calm from an aged veteran who has seen it all, slowly saying, "I didn’t expect the incarnation of the Gloomy Maiden to actually be here in person."

Elis Tree’s incarnation had always been very active.

Unlike other Divine Spirits, she had only a few enemies, mostly in the Zor Elves’ pantheon; other Divine Spirits wouldn’t provoke her.

She could walk among men with more boldness than the Goddess of Wealth and others.

Even the Night Goddess Shire wouldn’t lay a hand on her because the deterrent power of the Main God of the elves was there.
