High Martial: I Use Everything as Swords

Chapter 531 - 324: The Sword Tomb Starts Work! Oh Divine, You Smell So Good

"This is a business worth doing."

Han Feng waved his hand, gathering the specks of Divine light and sealing them away for later use.

After he was done, he looked at the now half-empty Sword Pool. Far from feeling any regret, he licked his lips.

His expression was like that of a beggar who had starved for three days and suddenly stumbled upon a royal banquet.

He had previously felt a degree of apprehension toward the so-called native Divine of Dragon Abyss.

After all, they were still called "gods."

But now, after the Sword Tomb’s process of "autopsy" and "digestion," that veil of mystery had been completely torn away.

’Bullshit Divines.’

Before the laws of the Sword Tomb, they were nothing more than walking "bags of Life Essence," "goody bags of materials," and "Law Fragment Libraries."

All he had to do was kill them and toss them into the Sword Tomb.

That meant Cultivation, the Divine, and Divine Weapons!

’Ye Jinghong needs to conquer tribes to seize their people and their faith.’

’I need to hunt Totem Divines to seize their corpses and their Source Material.’

’This is a match made in heaven.’

Han Feng chuckled to himself and exited the Sword Tomb Space.

Back in reality, the suffocating sense of pressure washed over him again, but his confidence was on a completely different level.

He glanced at the digital clock on the wall.

There were still four hours until dawn.

He lay back on the bed and closed his eyes. The map from Ye Jinghong’s command tent appeared in his mind.

The native tribes marked in red now looked completely different in his eyes.

’Before, they were danger zones.’

’And now?’

’They were clearly tickets to an all-you-can-eat buffet.’

’Those hard-shelled Hermit Crab People... not much meat on them, but their shells are prime Material Source Material. Perfect for adding some Armor to the Ghost Fighter.’

’That Black Fierce Ape Tribe is a good one. I hear they’re all three meters tall with abundant Qi Blood. One of them is worth three Hermit Crab People. All pure Life Essence.’

’And the Snake Lizard People... I hear they worship a subspecies with Dragon Race blood, don’t they?’

Han Feng rolled over, a trail of pathetic "tears" trickling from the corner of his mouth.

’Oh, Divines, you’re so delectable.’

...

「The next morning. Dragon Abyss Outpost Base.」

The sky remained a sheet of leaden gray, so oppressive it made one’s chest tighten. But the atmosphere inside the base was completely different.

All 5,300 soldiers had already assembled, each one’s face filled with a strange, feverish excitement.

After the baptism of last night’s "collective miracle," the troops’ Essence, Qi, and Spirit had undergone a fundamental transformation.

The anxiety born from the unfamiliar environment and severed supply lines was gone without a trace, replaced by an almost fanatical confidence.

Ye Jinghong stood on the command platform, his suit of heavy, dark-gold Spirit Armor reflecting a cold gleam in the morning light.

He wasn’t wearing a helmet. His sharply defined features showed no trace of fatigue, exuding instead an intimidating aura of majesty.

Behind him, twelve members of the Red Armored Elite stood in a line. They were his Divine General Guard.

Han Feng sauntered to the foot of the platform, a pouch of High-Energy Nutrient Liquid dangling from his mouth.

He activated his [Eye of Insight] and scanned the area.

’Damn.’

Faint white specks of light floated above the entire formation, a sign that the Power of Faith was gathering.

The specks were densest above Ye Jinghong’s head, forming a vortex that was nearly invisible to the naked eye.

’This isn’t an army. It’s a horde of fanatics, ready to sacrifice themselves for their Divine at a moment’s notice.’

"Pretty efficient," Han Feng remarked, casually stuffing the empty pouch into his Storage Space and raising an eyebrow at Ye Jinghong on the platform.

Ye Jinghong met Han Feng’s gaze and gave a slight nod before turning to face the army.

"All troops, hear my command!"

His voice wasn’t loud, yet amplified by some power, it entered every soldier’s ears, making their eardrums buzz.

"Our target: the Cyan Miasma Swamp, to the northwest."

"We will annihilate the Black Viper Tribe entrenched there and lay the first cornerstone for our Divine Kingdom!"

There was no rousing speech, no grand platitudes about the future of humanity.

In this hellhole where only slaughter and survival mattered, such simple, brutal commands were the most effective.

"Move out!"

At his command, the steel torrent of several thousand soldiers began to move. A Nine Forms "Celestial Whale" transport hovered at low altitude, serving as a mobile command platform.

Below, a ground force of armored personnel carriers and "Goliath" combat Mechas rumbled out of the base gates.

...

The Cyan Miasma Swamp lived up to its name.

Even before they arrived, a stench of rotting vegetation and sulfur assailed them.

The area was perpetually shrouded in a pale green, toxic miasma, and visibility was extremely low.

"Report! All optical reconnaissance equipment is experiencing heavy interference! Thermal imaging systems have completely failed!"

"Comms signal degradation is over ninety percent! We’ve lost contact with the outpost base!"

On the bridge of the Celestial Whale transport, a stream of bad news reports flowed to Ye Jinghong.

He watched the reconnaissance feed, now full of static, his brow furrowed.

Han Feng, piloting the X-01 Prototype, circled three hundred meters above the convoy.

His [Eye of Insight] was not significantly affected.

In his vision, the swamp below looked like a moldy green carpet. Countless red dots, representing the Snake Lizard Tribe, were hidden beneath the miasma and mud like vipers lying in wait.

"Advisor Han, what’s the situation down there?"

Ye Jinghong’s transmission, boosted by the flagship’s high-power equipment, barely managed to get through.

"Around ten thousand enemies, most of them Tier Two. They’re lurking underwater and in the dense woods. They have no heat signatures. They’re natural-born assassins," Han Feng reported calmly.

"They’re waiting for us to enter."

Ye Jinghong snorted. "Then we’ll give them what they want. Gu Jian!"
