Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method
Chapter 792: The System Had to Nerf Us
Following the elimination of Velion and the three opposing representatives, the devastated arena gradually returned to its original appearance.
WOOOOOM!
The enormous cracks disappeared, the shattered ground repaired itself, and the remaining traces of divine energy vanished.
Meanwhile, four golden lights appeared above the observation platforms, transporting the eliminated representatives away from the battlefield.
Garion crossed his arms and grinned proudly. "HAHAHA! That bastard Velion really did a good job! Taking down nine gods before getting eliminated!"
Atlas nodded, although his expression remained serious.
[Yeah, but don’t get too excited! Those three candidates still have seven representatives each!]
Garion waved dismissively. "Hehehe! So what? We’ve still got nine people left!"
Rachel smiled gently. "Velion certainly gave us an excellent start, darling. But I wonder how the others will perform."
Before Garion could respond, a golden notification suddenly appeared.
---
[Trial of the Teacher — Battle Progress Assessment]
[An Exceptional Imbalance Has Been Detected]
[Candidate Faction No. 4 Has Demonstrated Overwhelming Combat Superiority]
[Representatives Eliminated:]
[Faction No. 1: 3/10]
[Faction No. 2: 3/10]
[Faction No. 3: 3/10]
[Faction No. 4: 1/10]
[System Analysis: Current Battle Progression Is Heavily Dominated by One Candidate Faction]
[Automatic Competition Adjustment Initiated]
---
The three opposing candidates immediately raised their heads.
The silver-robed woman frowned. "An automatic adjustment?"
The crimson-armored man clenched his fists. "Hmph! About damn time!"
Meanwhile, the golden-crowned elder narrowed his eyes suspiciously. "What exactly does the system intend to adjust?"
Another notification appeared.
---
[Temporary Candidate Alliance Communication Unlocked]
[The Three Disadvantaged Candidate Factions May Now Establish a Shared System Communication Channel]
[This Feature Allows Participating Candidates to Exchange Information, Discuss Strategies, and Coordinate Representative Selection]
[Individual Faction Registration and Elimination Rules Remain Unchanged]
[The Leading Candidate Faction Is Not Eligible for This Communication Feature]
---
Garion stared at the notification before bursting into laughter. "HAHAHAHA! WHAT THE HELL?! Those bastards are getting special treatment because we’re beating them too badly?!"
Atlas scratched his silver-white head.
[Ghehehe! Apparently, the system decided the competition was becoming too one-sided!]
Rachel covered her mouth, chuckling softly. "Hehehe... Well, darling, you did let Velion eliminate nine opponents by himself."
Garion shrugged shamelessly. "Hey! That’s their problem! Who told them to be so weak?"
Meanwhile, the three opposing candidates received another notification.
---
[Temporary Candidate Alliance Chat Established]
[Three Participants Connected]
---
A translucent golden interface appeared before their eyes.
The silver-robed woman was the first to speak.
[Silver-Robed Candidate: Let’s establish something immediately. That demon’s master is far more dangerous than we initially believed.]
The crimson-armored man snorted.
[Crimson-Armored Candidate: No kidding! That bastard raised a monster who eliminated three of my warriors!]
[Golden-Crowned Candidate: Control your temper. The important matter is understanding the enemy’s cultivation system.]
The silver-robed woman nodded thoughtfully.
[Silver-Robed Candidate: His representatives appear to rely on their physical bodies. Their strongest abilities require direct contact.]
[Crimson-Armored Candidate: Then we should prioritize long-range attacks, movement restrictions, and defensive formations.]
[Golden-Crowned Candidate: Agreed. We must also avoid sending our representatives without preparation.]
For the first time, the three candidates were genuinely cooperating.
After all, none of them wanted to become the next victim of God Gym’s ridiculous disciples.
Meanwhile, Garion had already turned his attention toward his remaining representatives. "Hmm... Alright! Who should we send next?"
His gaze moved across the group before landing on a muscular young man with short, spiky crimson hair and sharp amber eyes, Rovric.
The former genius of the Revalis Clan stood with his arms crossed, wearing black-and-red sleeveless combat armor with a sword hanging at his waist.
Garion grinned as he glanced toward him. "Hehehe! Rovric! How about you? Want to give it a shot?"
Rovric immediately stepped forward, his expression serious. "Yes, Master! Thank you for the opportunity. I’ll handle the next battle."
Rachel suddenly blinked in surprise. "Wait... Did you just say Rovric? That Rovric?"
She examined him more carefully before a nostalgic smile appeared on her face. "My goodness... It’s been years since I last saw him."
Garion turned toward her curiously. "Oh? You only just recognized him? He’s been one of our disciples for years, you know!"
Rachel chuckled softly, looking slightly embarrassed. "Hehe, sorry, darling. I’ve been so focused on my training that I didn’t even realize he was Rovric."
Her gaze then shifted toward the other disciples, eventually landing on another man with messy golden-yellow hair. "Oh? It seems his partner, Ragric, is here too."
Garion nodded with a grin. "Yeah! I never expected both of them to end up here at the same time!"
Rachel nodded thoughtfully, a nostalgic smile lingering on her face. "Indeed. After all, those two were once among the strongest and most arrogant geniuses of the Revalis Clan’s younger generation."
She then tapped her chin thoughtfully. "Still, now that I’m seeing them again, it seems they’ve changed quite a bit."
Garion burst into laughter. "HAHAHA! Of course! Anyone who joins God Gym will eventually have their arrogance beaten out of them! After all, with nothing but training, training, and more training, who has the energy left to act arrogant?"
Rachel nodded in agreement, looking rather amused. "Yeah, now I’m curious about just how strong they’ve become. After all, they were once defeated by those troublesome twins, Rynar and Rynor, whom they always looked down on."
She turned toward Garion again, her expression growing curious. "I wonder how much they’ve matured since then. Do you think they’ve become strong enough to defeat the twins and finally get their revenge?"
Garion simply grinned and shrugged. "Hehehe! Who knows? After all, both the twins and those two have become Gods now, so it’s not exactly easy to tell who’s stronger anymore!"
Rachel nodded thoughtfully. "Yeah, I suppose you’re right. Besides, now that they’re all in the same faction, it seems their old grudges and desire for revenge have completely disappeared."
Garion nodded proudly, flashing a confident grin. "Of course they have! This is my God Gym, after all!"
Meanwhile, Rovric suddenly approached Rachel, his expression filled with confidence. "Miss Rachel, it seems you’ve finally remembered me! Today, I’ll show you the results of my training and just how much I’ve changed!"
Rachel merely smiled at him. "Of course! Then show me this new version of yourself. As for our past grievances, there’s no need to bring them up anymore."
At that moment, Ragric suddenly stepped forward and turned toward Garion. "Master! If Rovric loses, can I be the next one to fight?"
Garion nodded casually. "Sure thing! You’re up next if he loses!"
Rovric immediately snorted, shooting Ragric a mocking glance. "Replace me? Hmph! Looks like you won’t get your chance, then. After all, I intend to win every single battle!"
Ragric’s eyebrow twitched as he crossed his arms and sneered. "Hmph! This isn’t like our usual battles! Just make sure you don’t embarrass yourself out there!"
Rovric merely smirked, looking completely unbothered. "Hehehe! Just watch carefully. You might actually learn something new from me!"
Ragric’s expression immediately darkened. "WHAT DID YOU SAY?!"
Rachel couldn’t help laughing at their exchange. "Hehehe! They really have changed, haven’t they? To think those two went from partners and friends to rivals!"
Garion burst into laughter, clearly amused by their behavior. "HAHAHA! So what? Everyone in God Gym is a rival to everyone else! But being rivals doesn’t mean they’re enemies! Hehehe! Don’t worry too much about them!"
Rachel nodded with a gentle smile, seemingly reassured by his words.
