Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method

Chapter 760: Dahlia Likes the Respawn Mechanic

Rachel led the God Gym disciples deeper into enemy territory, easily destroying one defensive line after another.

With the First-Rank Divine Dragon Slayers already beginning to fall, the remaining defenses could barely slow them down.

Every formation they encountered was shattered through brute force, while the surviving Dragon Slayers were forced farther and farther back toward the center of the fortress.

However, just as they were about to break through another layer of defense, a terrifying aura suddenly erupted from deep within the fortress.

BOOM!

A wave of sinister energy swept across the battlefield.

Rachel immediately sensed it and raised one hand, signaling for everyone behind her to slow down. "Wait."

The God Gym athletes quickly stopped their advance.

A moment later, heavy footsteps echoed from beyond the shattered fortress gate ahead.

THUD! THUD! THUD!

An old Dragon Slayer slowly emerged from the darkness.

However, his current appearance could barely be considered human anymore.

His body had transformed into a tall, mutated dragon-like humanoid with hollow eyes, twisted black horns, spectral wings, and several ghostly dragon heads floating behind him.

A sinister black crown had fused directly into his skull, while a spine-like frame made from living dark metal had grown across his back and wrapped around parts of his body.

This old man was Galor, the oldest First-Rank Divine Dragon Slayer within the base.

More importantly, he was actually the teacher of the First Dragon Slayer, the candidate Garion was currently searching for.

Now, however, Galor had become the user of the most dangerous forbidden equipment possessed by the Dragon Slayers.

[Nether Dragon Crown]

Despite his listless, almost corpse-like appearance, Galor’s consciousness had not completely disappeared.

At least, not yet.

Galor gritted his teeth as the black crown constantly tried to erode his mind.

He was clearly using everything he had to suppress the equipment’s will and maintain control of his body.

He knew exactly what would happen if he lost himself.

However, if using this cursed equipment could buy enough time for the others to survive, then he had no intention of backing down.

Galor slowly raised his head and glared at Rachel and the God Gym athletes. "You filthy mercenaries..."

His voice sounded distorted, almost as though several dragon voices were speaking alongside him. "Don’t think you can destroy the Dragon Slayers so easily!"

Without wasting another second, Galor activated the power of the crown.

A massive black aura erupted from his body.

[Nether Crown Suppression]

An invisible soul-pressure field instantly spread across the battlefield, crashing into every God Gym athlete nearby.

The pressure invaded their minds, attempting to weaken their wills, disturb their energy control, and crush their fighting spirit.

Unfortunately, the result was rather disappointing.

Most of the God Gym athletes merely frowned for a moment before returning to normal.

Valtor even scratched his ear and looked around in confusion. "Huh? Was that supposed to do something?"

Galor’s hollow eyes narrowed.

What the Dragon Slayers didn’t know was that the members of God Gym cultivated mainly by training their bodies, so their daily training was already nothing short of hell.

They had repeatedly pushed themselves so close to death that nearly dying during training had practically become normal.

So naturally, their minds and wills had been tempered alongside them.

Compared to the mental torture they willingly endured during Garion’s training programs, the soul pressure of the [Nether Dragon Crown] was nowhere near enough to break them.

Seeing that his suppression had barely affected them, Galor frowned and immediately changed his approach.

[Dead Dragon Parade]

ROAAAAAR!

Countless ghostly dragon heads suddenly surged from behind him.

Every one of them was formed from the trapped souls of dragons that had been devoured and imprisoned within the forbidden equipment.

Their distorted screams filled the battlefield as they rushed toward the God Gym athletes, jaws wide open as they attempted to tear into their souls and curse their bodies.

Before they could reach anyone, however, Dahlia stepped forward with a wide grin. "Hehe..."

She casually snapped her fingers, and three more Dahlia clones immediately appeared beside her.

The first clone was crimson red, surrounded by violent flames that distorted the air around her.

The second was deep blue, with enormous amounts of water constantly swirling around her body like a miniature ocean.

The third was greyish-silver, surrounded by raging winds and arcs of lightning.

Together with the black-hole Dahlia clone that had already appeared earlier, four different Disaster Dahlia clones now stood across the battlefield.

Dahlia raised her hand and casually pointed forward. "Go fuck up those dragon-headed bastards!"

The black-hole Dahlia raised her palm, creating a miniature black hole that violently dragged dozens of ghostly dragon heads into its depths.

The crimson Dahlia unleashed a sea of disaster flames, burning the approaching dragon souls until their spectral bodies completely collapsed.

The blue Dahlia summoned an enormous mass of water before crushing dozens of dragon heads beneath the overwhelming pressure of a raging tsunami.

Meanwhile, the greyish-silver Dahlia merely spread her arms, and a violent storm instantly erupted around her, tearing through the remaining dragon heads.

In only a few breaths, most of them had already been destroyed by her alone.

Yet Galor didn’t even react. In the next moment, the dark metal frame on his back pulsed violently before vomiting out even more dragon heads.

Within seconds, the ghostly dragon heads that had just been destroyed began reforming around him.

After all, they weren’t physical creatures but trapped dragon souls. As long as they remained imprisoned within the [Nether Dragon Crown], he could recreate them again and again.

Seeing the recreated dragon heads, Dahlia’s eyes didn’t dim. Instead, they brightened with interest. "Oh, interesting. So those dragon heads can be recreated that easily."

Dahlia raised one hand, stopping the others from moving forward. "Leave this old man to me. I’m interested in him."

Valtor immediately frowned. "Oi, why the hell do you get him?"

Dahlia laughed and waved him off. "You already handled one of them earlier, so leave this one to me. Besides, this old man seems to be their elder."

She cracked her fingers one by one, her grin widening. "As the eldest disciple, it’s only right that I handle their elder, don’t you think?"

Her eyes shifted toward the countless screaming dragon souls surrounding Galor. "And more importantly..."

Dahlia licked her lips excitedly as the four disaster clones gathered around her. "I want to see just how much punishment those dragon heads can take."
