Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method
Chapter 757: Pick Your Divine Slayer
The battlefield suddenly shook.
Two terrifying auras descended from [Vyrmgrave Planet] and crashed into the outer battlefield like falling mountains.
BOOOOOOM!
The ordinary Dragon Slayers immediately retreated with excited expressions.
"They’re here!"
"The Divine Dragon Slayers have arrived!"
"Hahaha! These bastards are dead now!"
From the dark red mist, two figures slowly stepped out.
Both wore heavy dragon-bone armor that was far more complete than the equipment of the Celestial Dragon Slayers.
Their weapons were forged from divine dragon materials, and every step they took made the surrounding dragon bones tremble.
A thick dragon-slaying aura spread from their bodies, dyeing nearby space blood-red.
One carried a massive black-red halberd, while the other held a long serrated blade made from a dragon’s spine.
The halberd-wielding Divine Dragon Slayer swept his gaze across the battlefield and frowned. "So these are the paid soldiers?"
The other Divine Dragon Slayer grinned coldly. "They don’t look like much."
The moment those words fell, Valtor’s eyes lit up. "Oh? You don’t think we look like much?"
The halberd-wielding Divine Dragon Slayer looked toward Valtor and sneered. "Indeed. You’re just a brute who is a bit stronger than the rest. So what?"
Valtor laughed loudly, and his aura erupted. "Good, good. Now you’re mine, you lizard-bone bastard."
Without waiting for anyone’s answer, Valtor stomped on empty space and shot forward.
BOOOOM!
His body turned into a blazing molten streak as he rushed directly toward the halberd-wielding Divine Dragon Slayer.
The halberd Slayer’s eyes narrowed as he entered his stance. "Courting death. Let me show you the difference between us."
He raised his halberd and swung it down.
At the same time, Valtor roared and swung his massive axe upward.
CLAAAAANG!
Both weapons clashed in space.
The impact created a violent shockwave that blasted nearby Dragon Slayers away.
The halberd Slayer’s expression changed slightly. He had not expected his strike to be blocked head-on.
Valtor’s grin widened. "What? Surprised? If this is all you’ve got, then you’re pretty weak. Come on, lizard hunter. Don’t disappoint me!"
The halberd Slayer gritted his teeth and pushed back with even more force. "Impudent bastard!"
As the two clashed violently, the second Divine Dragon Slayer slowly turned his gaze toward Dahlia.
Dahlia looked at him lazily, then turned sideways. "Seira, come here."
Seira, who had been standing quietly behind her, slowly opened her icy blue eyes and walked over.
Dahlia pointed at the serrated-blade Divine Dragon Slayer. "You take that one. The other one already chose Valtor."
Then she grinned. "You don’t want to lose your pride here, right? After all, that man is your rival."
Seira stared at Valtor and his opponent for a moment before sighing. "Fine, Elder Sister. You really have a good mouth."
Dahlia only chuckled.
Seira turned toward the long-blade Slayer and raised one hand.
A frozen throne formed behind her, made from crystal-clear ice and covered in pale-blue divine patterns.
Seira sat down lazily and waved one finger toward the long-blade Slayer. "Come on. I don’t have much time. Let’s finish this."
The long-blade Slayer frowned. "How dare you speak as if I’m nothing?"
The next moment, he disappeared.
He instantly appeared in front of Seira and swung his serrated blade down. "Now take this!"
Seira only raised one finger, and a thin ice shield quickly appeared in front of her.
CLANG!
The serrated blade smashed into the shield, but the ice did not even crack.
Seira looked at him calmly from her throne. "Is this all? Come on. Use more power."
The long-blade Slayer’s face twisted with anger.
Farther away, Dahlia watched with a proud grin. "That’s my girl."
---
From the back of the battlefield, Garion watched the two Divine Dragon Slayers struggle against Valtor and Seira before bursting into laughter.
He pointed at them and shouted, "Hahaha! Hey, you two Dragon Slayers!"
The halberd Slayer and the long-blade Slayer both frowned and looked toward Garion.
Garion grinned and tightened his fists. "You’d better use [Dragon Burst] now."
The moment those words fell, the expressions of both Divine Dragon Slayers changed.
The halberd Slayer’s eyes turned cold. "How do you know about that?"
Garion shrugged casually. "Simple. Because I fought one of you guys who used it."
He rubbed his chin as if trying to remember. "I think it was around a month ago. He used a great blade, if I’m not mistaken."
The two Divine Dragon Slayers froze for a moment.
The long-blade Slayer gritted his teeth. "Damn it... no wonder Jaren never came back."
The halberd Slayer’s expression became ugly. "So he didn’t disappear. He died."
Garion waved his hand. "Well, technically, Rachel knocked him out. I don’t know if my dragon friends killed him after interrogating him or not."
The two Divine Dragon Slayers stared at him with murderous eyes.
Garion only grinned. "What? I’m just being honest."
The halberd Slayer took a deep breath, then looked toward his partner. "Looks like we can’t play around anymore, Orvax."
The long-blade Slayer, Orvax, tightened his grip on his serrated blade and nodded. "Yeah, Kaldros. If we hold back, we might really die here."
Kaldros raised his halberd.
Orvax lifted his blade.
At the same time, their blood-red dragon-slaying aura exploded outward.
BOOOOOOM!
Their armor cracked open, and stolen dragon blood erupted from their bodies like boiling magma.
Dragon horns tore out from their helmets, while scales grew across their arms, necks, and faces.
Their bodies expanded, twisting into grotesque dragon-human hybrids covered in bone armor and divine weapon fragments.
Their auras rose several times in an instant.
[Dragon Burst]
Valtor’s eyes widened with excitement. "Hahaha! This aura is multiple times stronger! Now this is more like it. Time to get serious!"
His body erupted with even greater heat, the temperature rising higher and higher.
Strangely, the flames around him began to fade, not because they were weakening, but because the heat had become so intense that the flames themselves could no longer visibly form.
On the other side, Seira remained seated on her frozen throne, her expression unchanged.
She looked at Orvax calmly and raised one eyebrow. "Is this it?"
Cold mist spread from beneath her throne. "Not too bad. At least you’re enough to entertain me."
