Hellmode ~Gamer Who Likes to Speedrun Becomes Peerless in a Parallel World with Obsolete Setting~
Vol. 13 - Ch. 773 - Preparation for Conquer Day #2 - God B Summon
New Novel - Read Here
The afternoon of the second day. Allen remained steadfast on his farming, and focused on «Production» and «Creation» skill over his farm work at Martial Hall of Sword God with Merus.
Keel, Sophie, and Luck tasked themselves to pick up the peach-shaped Heaven's Blessing, or shining Golden Egg overflowing at the edge of the farm, storing them inside their magic bag. When out of mana or spiritual recovery, the three Spirit A summoned beast, they're working with Leon, would use Heaven's Blessing or Taste of Season to recover inside the grimoire.
«......»
Merus, though, was working like a brainless drone. He worked alongside Allen, invoking «Angel's Halo» to keep up with production, but it was apparent his mind wasn't there.
(Spiritual aura recovery medicines don't recover everything like Heaven's Blessing after all. Merus's instant recovery is such a lifesaver.)
Allen had raised the creation skill till Grass H, but the best buff he had was Grass G's «Autumn's Taste» which recovered 10,000 units of spiritual aura recovery in the span of 1 kilometer.
※The effect is multiplied ten fold as Autumn's Taste and Season Taste's effect is overwhelmingly low.
In contrast to them, Merus's Angel B allows instant recovery of spiritual aura, provides buffs and et cetera.
[Allen's Recovery Equipment]
1. Spiritual Aura Recovery Ring S x2
Stamina - 30,000, Mana - 30,000, and Spiritual Aura recovery +5% per second
2. Bracelet of Three Realms x2
Stamina - 50,000, Mana - 50,000, Spiritual Aura recovery +10% per second, and -50% Cooldown
[Merus's Angel B «Malacus»'s ability and awakening skill]
1. Ability «Passionate Samba»
Mana and Spiritual Aura +10,000, and Spiritual Aura/Mana recovery +3% per second
2. Awakening Skill «Happy Carnivale»
Mana and Spiritual Aura +30,000, and Spiritual Aura/Mana recovery +3% per second
"Okeyo-san, can you fasten up the usage of Heaven's Blessing by 1.5 seconds? I am not recovering enough mana."
«Got it. Kekeke!»
Allen and Merus's mana was depleting at an alarming rate as they worked with high-speed summon. Since they couldn't recover mana over time in the Divine Realm, unlike spiritual force, they'd to use Heaven's Blessing to recover it.
Sophie and Keel added help by buffing them, practicising their recovery magic and other buffs taking this as practice ground. The same goes for Kurena, as she trained herself to exhaustion and then used buffs and items to recover mana.
«Cook-a-coo!»
«Cook-a-coo!»
«Cook-a-coo!»
Before Merus's eyes, the chicken shaped Bird H laid shining, golden eggs one at a time.
(Hmm, all of these materials are essential for support, but it's about time to get serious on creation skills.)
With Merus acquiring spiritual force at S-rank, it allowed the two to create the «Golden Egg». Albeit, the experience value of «Creation» skill was counted individually for both.
According to their initial strategy, they would be splitting one million Heaven's Blessings, and 100,000 Golden Eggs to each army.
«Now that I think about it, it's really an incredible amount.»
Leon scooped up five or six eggs in each hand, storing them away inside the grimoire.
Sophie raised her voice in concern.
"Err... Allen-sama. I think you should take a break."
"Hmm? Oh, right. I will... in a while."
"You said the same thing yesterday, and everyone knows that didn't happen at all!"
Seeing Allen being stubborn in his action, Sophie roughen her voice.
Ever since the invasion of demons three days ago, Allen hadn't eaten properly, much less caught even a wink of sleep. He was spending most of time creating and producing the recovery items, sometimes he would lead the meeting of the Five Continental Alliance, guide Allen's army, or sketch out their strategy for the war.
(It's been quite some time, and Hawks and other summons have yet to find the Forgotten Continent. Our opponents are prepared. This war is going to be unlike anything before for sure.)
Gathering information against the Demon King's army. This was another of the tasks Allen had been working on in parallel.
Five groups, each consisting of Bird E and Bird A, were constantly in lookout for the Forgotten Continent where Demon King and his army is holed up, but there was just no cue to their location.
Demons had been playing their hands very well. Allen's entire strategy hinges on if they could find the Forgotten Continent. Without it, there was just no way they could do anything. Through their shared senses, Allen could feel the swelling impatience and anger inside Merus.
«Will not fail......»
He worked like a drone alongside Allen, silently using his skills, but mentally, he was out there with summoned beasts to look out for the Demon King’s army.
There was no certainty Merus would stay quiet and not teleport to the location immediately if they managed to find it, so Allen had revoked the authorisation of Bird A's ability and awakening skill from «Angel's Halo».
Allen broke his chain of thought, and turned to Sophie. She had been glaring at him for a while seeing as he wasn't stopping on his task at all.
"Sophie, I would rather exhaust myself then later regret that I could have made a difference and not lose our comrades. So, worry not about me. Why not help out Kurena in her skill strengthening?"
"B-But, this is..."
"Sophie, he's not going to stop here. So, just give up."
Seeing Allen being adamant, Sophie tried to argue but Luck stopped her. With a reluctant expression, she decided to fold here, and with thoughts that she would chew him out later, shifted her attention to Kurena.
(Regret is a luxury I rather have not. It's impossible that demons told us their plan, and gave hints out of their goodness. There has to be a reason, a trap. And there's no way to save & load this Last Boss fight.)
Allen could still vividly recall the time he was preparing to fight the Demon King in his previous life. It was just a game, but it was his first last boss battle. He treaded carefully, levelled up his character, and prepared the best equipment.
However it ended in a failure. He was just not prepared enough regardless of his caution. He lost against the Demon King. He re-did from the save data he had stored at the town outside of Demon King's Castle.
The challenge this time was nothing compared to that. They were to face one trap after another, and the challenge must be led under the terms of enemies. There's no concrete way to tell what they must prepare for. And there's no do-over.
The failure would only make Demon King stronger, the Human Realm would be destroyed, the lives of friends would be lost, and they themselves would lose their loved ones.
(No efforts must be spared...)
As the thoughts swirled inside him, Allen gathered his mind, and concentrated on his work, hoping to increase the speed even by milliseconds.
The night of the second day. A log appeared on the cover of grimoire.
«Creation 2 skill has levelled up to 8.
God B summoned beasts are available to summon.
Creation 2 has been completely unlocked.
Creation 3 unlocked.»
It was the level up notification of Creation Skill's second cycle that he had been focusing on.
(Finally. I am so glad this skill requires an experience value of ten billion unlike other skills.)
The strengthening and production skill had a ceiling of 9 levels, and the last level required a steep experience value of 100 billion. He had to stop working on other skills for that, but the effort paid off.
"I got it! God B is here! Woah, it's like a shiny haori?!"
Allen's bubbling excitement burst off in a loud voice, attracting everyone else's attention. However, since everyone knew what Allen was working on, and had been long anticipating this, they watched over the situation in silence.
(The analysis is done too. Come forth, Heavenly God Haori! I bet this is a defensive armament for Leon!!)
Promptly, Allen invoked his «Creation» skill, and summoned the God B summon.
A japanese haori, bathing in golden radiance, revealed itself, hovering above Leon. It lowered above Leon, who had still been picking up Golden Eggs, and put itself over him.
«Huh... It's my armament, I see. I can feel a slight increase in my power.»
"It is. It has just been out, so it's only at B-rank, but it can grow till S-rank."

Even in his excitement, Allen didn't stop on his work, and continued to focus on leveling up skill while glancing over the effect of God B. By the time he had analysed the effect of God B, the tick of the clock had turned to show 00:00 hours.
«Alright, this is enough training for today, everyone. Take your time to hydrate, but don't be too late for rest. And Kurena, make sure I don't have to use Coco's skill just to wake you up this morning.»
His voice reached everyone as he used the «Transmission« ability.
"Phew, I am dead tired~. Yeah, I will remember it~."
Kurena remarked as she walked with staggering steps, a result of relentless training with Sword God. This morning, Allen had to use Bird H's ability «Morning's Call» to wake her up, a technique that could instantly awaken any sleeping person.
"Haa, Rosalina is tired, too. Rosalina wants to rest early."
Rosalina grumbled as she emptied the fruit water filled cup Sophie gave her, and left the Martial Hall. She had used her singing to buff the party members, and helped them out in leveling their skill up.
The base magic tool had been placed outside the Martial Hall, and this was the resting place for everyone. Allen walked up to the direction Kurena came from, and their gazes crossed each other.
(It's time to discuss some things, eh. It's clear neither of them are going to be strong enough in the frontal assault within the deadline if the pace remains the same.)
Now that he had unlocked God B, one of his objectives, Allen decided to play out his next card.
"*Huff* *Huff*... I am tired. My stomach's growling... Hmm? Allen. Where are you going? Aren't you going to take a rest?"
Kurena felt an indescribable feeling as she saw Allen's action, and called him out. The sudden change in air was caught up by the rest of the members too, and they saw Allen turning toward Sword God.
The Sword God stood straight, her sacred artifact Ascalon resting on her shoulder.
«Hmm? What's the matter, Allen? You're wearing quite a mystical face... your bloodlust is breaking out of your mould.»
Watching Allen taking steps toward her, his sword gripped in his hand, Sword God's lips curled into a grin as she awaited what Allen was planning, clearly not feeling threatened.
"Indeed. There's a reward I have yet to claim, you see."
«What?»
"The promise we had it earlier—I would like to put it in stake, and requests for a sword duel."
The night of the 2nd day. As the calendar changes it day, Allne's comrades watched the Allen challenging Sword God with tensed expression.
