Heir of Synthesis: The World Mage

Chapter 466: Eating Dirt

  • Next Chapter

"Central Elder?!" Priam jumped in surprise.

It was that blonde woman, the very same one Aella and Suien had been cursing the most viciously. She was considerably crueler than Aella’s mother, and she even struck the two girls in the chest to make them feel even more pain.

After putting the bottle away with a victorious smile, the Central Elder’s expression turned into pure fury.

"You little brat, you’re getting bolder by the day! I told you to come back to me after two hours! You ignored me just to drink wine?!"

In that instant, all three of them, who’d been somewhat drunk, circulated the Ether throughout their bodies. Within a second, all traces of intoxication vanished.

Aella stood up, furious. "If you want to beat me up, then do it. Do you seriously think I’d come to you of my own free will? Go fuck yourself!"

Barak also stood up, outraged. "How dare you steal our Goddess’s Essence?!"

"You little brats, you dare talk back to me?! Today, I’ll beat you until you understand why roses are red!" The Central Elder charged forward, clenching her fists, a wild aura surrounding her as an amused smile spread across her face.

*BANG!*

Aella tried to counterattack, but took a direct hit and went tumbling across the ground. With a kick, Barak spat out blood and crashed into a nearby tree.

"Central Elder, this..." Priam couldn’t stand watching the scene. It was far too humiliating. Not only had she stolen their drinks, but now she was beating them up, too.

"Oh, you have something to say? If you dare beg for mercy, I’ll beat you up along with them!" the Central Elder roared, openly provoking him.

At that exact moment...

Suien puffed out her chest. "You bitch! You think you can do whatever you want?! I guarantee you! My brother will beat you until you’re eating dirt!"

"Oh?!" The Central Elder smiled, turning her gaze toward Priam.

As for him... he covered his face with his hand and let out a heavy sigh.

"That’s right! Bro..." Suien murmured, turning toward Priam with eyes shining with expectation.

Priam felt a chill run down his spine and swallowed hard. Was this little brat trying to get him killed? Or did she have completely irrational faith in him?

But... he couldn’t back down in the face of his sister’s pure, trusting gaze.

’Whatever...’ He accepted his fate.

Then his mind began working at a tremendous speed, with his Transcendental Anima displaying its full, outrageously powerful capabilities.

In a brief moment, Priam faced the Central Elder and bowed slightly.

At the same time, Seien received a mental message, and her heart began racing.

Priam spoke slowly. "That’s not what you think, ma’am..."

From an angle the Central Elder couldn’t see, while bowing respectfully, Priam discreetly signaled to Aella with his other hand.

The moment she saw the gesture, Aella understood instantly.

Gritting her teeth, just as the Central Elder was about to charge forward, she drew her greatsword and attacked with everything she had.

"You little brat, you dare?!" The Central Elder roared with an angry laugh.

She swung her palm toward Aella’s greatsword. All four of them knew just how devastating that attack was—if it landed squarely, nobody could say how far Aella would be sent flying.

However, at the exact moment the Central Elder struck, a fierce, freezing energy erupted out of nowhere.

"!"

The Central Elder’s heart trembled. Suien’s attack was coming far too fast.

Moreover, attacking from another angle, Priam unleashed a devastating blast of wind.

Even Barak moved, attacking in perfect sync with them.

The casting time for that strike was extremely short, and their attacks hit at the exact moment Aella’s greatsword collided with the Central Elder’s palm.

"Fuck you all!" the Central Elder shouted.

Her eyes flashed, and a blast of wind struck Barak.

Her fists moved, firing two fierce gusts of wind toward Suien and Priam.

Three violent bangs rang out. The first came from Aella’s greatsword. When the blade struck the Central Elder’s shoulder, the woman didn’t even move, while Aella was brutally sent flying backward. The other two bangs came from the other two attackers’ blocks.

But she quickly realized something was wrong: those strikes from the siblings hadn’t contained any of their real strength.

Their first move had been a distraction. Neither of them had been thrown backward, and they immediately moved again with absurd coordination.

"!"

By the time the Central Elder reacted, Suien’s foot was already rising violently toward her ass.

"Brat, looks like you’re in need of a good spanking!"

The Central Elder was furious. Throughout the entire Sect, the only person who would dare give her a beating was that old Sect Leader. If she let this happen, she’d die of embarrassment from the Central Elders teasing her about it for eternity.

With a sudden movement, she twisted her body. She was just about to dodge when Aella, who was still within her reach, unexpectedly grabbed her legs.

In the very same millisecond, Barak leaped forward and grabbed her other leg!

The Central Elder was practically foaming at the mouth with rage.

If these had been her enemies on a battlefield, she would’ve simply unleashed her aura and reduced them to ashes. But obviously, she couldn’t do something like that to disciples. That was the only reason Aella and Barak had the audacity to use such a shameless tactic.

Suien’s kick was about to hit its target. With no other choice, the Central Elder could only twist sideways and desperately dodge. That rotational movement also sent Barak flying away.

But...

She spun perfectly into the exact spot Priam had predicted.

**BANG!**

A brutal sound, like heavy metal crashing against metal, echoed through the air.

Aella, Suien, and Barak saw Priam positioned perfectly behind the Central Elder, his fist extended and covered by a radiant red gauntlet.

He had landed a direct hit on the back of the Central Elder’s head.

The entire maneuver had been calculated with surgical precision, as if the Elder herself had thrown herself into his punch.

Priam smiled, overwhelmed by indescribable satisfaction. His excitement was obvious. After spending days on end getting beaten nonstop by the Central Elders, he had finally gotten to let off some steam. As it turned out, landing that blow on her head had been incredibly satisfying.

From the very beginning, Priam knew that the four of them together wouldn’t be able to withstand a single serious punch from that woman. Defeating her in a direct confrontation was impossible.

That was why he had Suien attack her in an utterly humiliating spot, then used the support of the other two to force the Central Elder to spin around and dodge in a hurry.

There was a 50% chance she’d turn either way. However, Priam knew that this Elder possessed the same Elemental Physique as him. The wind was blowing gently to their right, and anyone with the Wind Elemental Physique could instinctively sense it and use it to gain momentum.

Priam predicted that the Central Elder would instinctively move with the wind to gain more speed while dodging.

And he had hit the mark perfectly.

The Central Elder had very little experience dealing with such a cunning opponent. After all, the Sect’s members were all straightforward and preferred honest, brute-force confrontations. As a result, she ended up meeting such a tragic fate.

The sound of her body hitting the ground face-first, heavy as a puppet with its strings cut, echoed through the air. The Central Elder was completely knocked out by the impact.

Priam had channeled all his Ether into Ananke and, combining it with his full strength, had managed to achieve this feat by striking the veteran in the back of the head.

Aella and Barak’s eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. Their jaws dropped in utter shock.

Suien ran over to the unconscious Central Elder and kicked her a few times to vent her anger, cursing all the while.

"You shameless bitch! Who said you could hit me? Who said you could intimidate me?!"

The first kick hit her arm, making her body spin—so far, so good. But the second kick landed directly on that woman’s ample bust. It was Suien’s revenge.

Priam’s expression changed instantly.

"Fuck, are you trying to get us all killed?! Run!" Priam shouted, grabbing Suien by the arm and dragging her away in sheer desperation.

The Elder’s eyes snapped open. The kick had struck such a sensitive spot that she woke up immediately.

She rubbed the back of her head for a moment, still dazed, and spat out the dirt in her mouth. Then, the memory of what had just happened came rushing back.

"Damn it, why does my head hurt so much? Hm? Wait a minute... Get back here!"

With a furious roar, the Central Elder took flight, spotting the four distant figures fleeing in sheer panic.

"You damn brats! Don’t even think about running away!"
